Avoid like the plague. Can't withdraw the PENCE from your account - So if you have 1790.30 you can only withdraw the 1790. WHY? - To make you go back is why. You can never clear your account.

Their account verification (to allow you to get your winnings) is everything a scammer would need to clone your bank account (front/Back scans of your Bank Card - Photo ID - Proof of address). I called my bank and they suggested I DID NOT send all that information (esp. the scans of the bank card) but 188Bet wouldn't pay my winnings otherwise. Sent all the info then asked my Bank to issue a NEW debit card.

As a professional gambler, I have had to verify 100's of accounts and have never been asked for as much as 188bet asked for.

Won't ever use again.

A nightmare company to bet with. So many validation checks to get started and to withdraw.I felt out of all the online betting companies I've bet with, these are one of the worst..

Honestly don’t use them. I opened an account with them purely to just Bet on horse racing, I signed up for the offer of bet £10 get 4x £5 free bets. They were not credited and were told as I placed the bet using a desktop I did not qualify, even though I used my iPhone and placed it on the exact same platform a friend of mine did and he got his free bets. Live chat were no help and pretty much told me to go away and there’s nothing they can do. I closed my account completely and if I was you I wouldn’t even bother making an account with them.

Other cons is that, for example, I have an iPhone 8+ (new phone) and it’s so slow on safari and it crashes all the time. Just stick to other sites such as skybet or bet365

Opened an account with 188 , reicieved 4 £5 bets on the offer , won £90 in cash , was expecting a customer verification nightmare looking at all the feedback but had no problems at all , withdrew it Sunday night in my bank by midday Monday , so far a very positive experience with 188 , I will continue to use them .

188bet are fraudsters! Limited my account after only a few bets and wouldn't provide any explanation. Unreliable and useless, not worth your time.

They're the only company I've ever come across that forces you to spend your entire deposit before you can withdraw. So, say you deposit £50 and you only decide to spend £20, you then have to spend the other £30 to get any money out.

Also, they do not offer fractional odds; again, the only bookie operating in the UK that I know of that doesn't do fractional odds.

One more thing: their slot games are very basic, no decent games on there.

Poor firm, avoid.

Wow - now I am surprised about the bad reviews. Personally - i have not had a problem in over a decade. Long may it continue. If you are a bonus hunter........ don't be surprised if they do not want your business.

This is after 30 years of betting and doing it on so many sportbooks, by far worst experience I had. I bet yesterday on WORLD CUP game, i mean WORLD CUP common, Germany vs Mexico AH2(-0.5) and won like 2000 euros, and I was blocked and not able to bet anymore :D

Ridiculous company.

1 star awarded due to unacceptable behaviour. It's only a minor infringement on their behalf by withdrawing my "Best Odds Guarantee", it's blinkered and petty and I will report it to the Gambling Commission (which will be ignored), but if enough of us withdraw our business then 188bet have no business. There's more ways to skin a cat, you could avoid 118bet sponsored partners like Wigan Warriors. Food for thought.

I have tried pretty much all the bookies in the UK, and I think this is the worst one.
* Website downtimes
* Few deposit and withdrawal methods
* Bad withdrawal policies and processing times
* Only entire numbers when withdrawal by debit card

DO NOT TRUST - charlatans who will steal your money. I wanted to place a £5 bet but the minimum deposit was £10. Fine I though I'll just deposit but only bet with £5. The bet won so I was left with £20. I went to withdraw my £20 but was told I had to wager the whole £10 before I could withdraw ANY money.

What nonsense is this? I only deposited £10 because they made me. It's still my money and I should be able to withdraw it whenever I want.

They only allow you to deposit whole pounds, no decimals - a common trick among thieving bookmakers as it allows them to steal money left in your account because you can't withdraw it. AVOID.

Definitely stay away from this lot!

They cheat in live betting. My bet was put on "Pending" for two seconds and then confirmed one second before a goal was scored. Don't bother wasting time with their customer service. You're better of talking to a wall.

Betting in Viet dong is made easier on this site than others I have used.So no adding an extra 0 or even 00.
I paid 15000 dong for an over the counter bank deposit and was credited an extra 5000 by the site.

Grim beyond belief. Appalling customer service, account limited after 2 weeks where I won about £20 in bonuses...take any funds out as I doubt this lot will last.

I opened an account with bet188. I put money into the account from my debit card. When I tried to get money out Bet 188 asked for every imaginable bit of personal information. Thy even asked for a screen shot of my bank account statement from an out of date card. If you don't provide all information they ask for, however daft it is,
you can not get your money.
I believe they take your money up until you win and then make it so difficult to withdraw you winnings that most people give up and write it off.
I did get my money - eventually - I then closed the account and asked them to destroy my personal information which they would not commit to do.
BEWARE avoid Bet188

Well I signed up all was well until they want to verify you're account ..passport which I thought was the best ID anyone can have. Not for them... they also wanted bank statements (how you get funded ) Proof of address (which I provided my debit card so obvious I am addressed to that and that wasn't good enough.. want more! Only thing they don't want is what I had for breakfast !! I told them my passport is good enough as it was any other bookie . So I told them to close my account! Simple as.

Customer service easy to contact, actions were prompt and efficient. Plenty of sports and casino choices.

I opened an account with this company and deposited £40. By the time I put the money in the price of the horse I was going to back changed. So I then tried to withdraw MY £40 and was told I had to bet the $40 before I could get MY money back. As far as I am aware no other company does this and I am outraged at their behaviour. I would strongly recommend that no one bets with a company that has a policy which I see as criminal!
