Poor Site and service. Avoid
Shocking site and verification process. Had to repeatedly reset password and it’s not user friendly. Also will only allow the withdrawal to the rounded pound meaning I have 90p still sitting there and the minimum bet is a pound. Just terrible. Avoid
Shocking verification process
Shocking verification process. Easily made 2 deposits but when trying to withdraw winnings, several verifications required. Front and back of bank card, and drivers license. Copy of bank statement including card number, sort code, account number, name and address and URL!!!!. Rejecting verifications and not suitable despite clear images. Account suspended, poor customer contact. Very, very poor company, avoid at all costs.
Awful customer service.
This site was a problem from the first moment.
Unable to place first bet because of a problem with their site, was told to send in screenshot so they could resolve the issue, they didn't reply for several days and their reply offered no help or explanation.
Before getting a response about that issue, I was told to verify my account. Spoke to LiveChat who said accounts are NOT suspended while awaiting verification so to try placing a bet - I did and was able to, finally.
I sent several documents and they excluded proof of address with no explanation. I emailed several times requesting both information and alternatives, they only responded with the same repeat stock email demanding verification documents.
While awaiting yet another response about what alternatives I could provide, I attempted to place another bet and was told my account has been suspended.
Spoke to LiveChat who told me that accounts get suspended when you don't comply within the 3 day time frame they demand for verification - despite me still trying to find a resolution to the problem. Customer service agent tried to blow me off by telling me to email them yet again to ask for assistance - claiming that LiveChat are a completely different place than account verification and therefore they cannot speak on each other's behalf, which is incredibly bizarre, what's the point in their customer service if it is unable to provide service.
After 15-20 minutes of seeking help and resolution from the customer service agent, and being spoken to as if I'm the unreasonable one, I've given up. It's not even worth the effort. I'm not going to jump through hoops to please them when they've offered nothing in return. I haven't even been attempting to take anything from their site, only place bets, and they've made it unpleasant and time consuming. What a waste.
Watch out for their terms, use a reputable bookmaker instead...
As a new customer I deposited £20, then decided against placing the bet I had in mind. Lately, I decided to withdraw my money back to my card only to be told I was not allowed as I had not staked at least £20. Would make sense if I had claimed a free bet, but this is my money!?! Slipping in terms to prevent withdrawals is not a way to treat customers, and not a sustainable business model.
AVOID!!!
takes to long to withdraw your winnings …
takes to long to withdraw your winnings why?
I won some money with them then I said …
I won some money with them then I said I want to close my account they said your money will be sent buy cheque then I just said I want one my card they said ok another email came through saying we will send you cheque still know cheque all they do is lie all the time avoid at all costs
Scam artists

Absolutely disgraceful company - AVOID
Absolutely disgraceful company. Easily take your money but put you through hoops to withdraw. I had fun bet on the Grand National and opened an account. Won £50 and was told I need to put in another rollover bet until I can withdraw. Complete nonsense. The free £20 bet is a con and a tool which encourages you to keep gambling. They still have my money as now I've got to verify my account with photo ID! Why can't they just put your winnings back on the card you desposited with like every other decent betting company? I was told by customer service this is an Asia based company. When you query their procedures they send you links to their terms and conditions. Avoid like the plague unless you want to jump through hoops to get your money that you have fairly won. There's something very suspicious about this company and I suspect the more reviews they get which show them for what they are, the less people with use them.
Stole my £10!!!!!!
Deposited £10 with the intention of using the sign-up bonus. On depositing the money I am then informed that I cannot make in-game bets, which is the only reason i signed up. I am then told I can't even get my money back without playing through some rollover or some other thing that sounded like nonsense that i couldn't understand, so i tried to withdraw it anyway and am then told to wait 3 days for it to go back into my account, if it even will as i couldn't understand what i was being told by the operator.
Great, a system that can take your money in seconds then keep hold of it for days without giving it back, if give it back at all. Reynaldo, the useless tech support operator made no sense and contradicted himself so much during the conversation that I had to come here and write this review. Hopefully saving someone else the ****-ache of dealing with this company.
Absolute thieves do not use!!
Absolute thieves. The only time i have a bet is on National day. This year i couldn't get to the betting shop as i have a two yr old with a terminal illness and he wasn't well.
So lucky me opened an account with 188BET. I deposited £60 so the four of us could have a bet. We helped my 2yr old point out a horse on the sweepstake and another couple of races. 2 of his horses that day won. £30 woooo. I had deposited £60 so we were £30 down. Oh well. I put in a withdrawl request and left it at that. After 3 days i got an email asking me to verify my account. What? My debit card is good enough as id everywhere else. I thought this was strange and refused. Just pay me out as i don't trust the company. They would not pay me out as i had not used my free bet. I told them i didn't want it, just give me the £30 my son won with my initial deposit. They refused saying i had not complied with terms annd conditions. Use the £20 and you can have your money. So i place 2 £10 bet and still no! Told me it needed to be £20 bet AAAARGH. Placed bet and lost then they said i had used my winnings as they had not put £20 free bet into my account. Robbing (insert swear word here) Who do i complan to? Do not use these shisters. I gave my 2yr old the £30 and hope these t#ts get whats coming to them. Thieves.
They took my money as quick and easy as …
They took my money as quick and easy as a knife through butter, but try and withdraw my winnings and i am in for problems . Gambling Buzz killers. a week of nonsense from them about being unable to withdraw because "I haven't used my free bet yet"....what utter garbage.
its like being in a restaurant that wont give you your change back until you eat a plate of their free onion rings.
their help line phones haven't worked since the grand national crashed their system, their on line support aren't interested at all in my care and their emailed responses have been incoherent
utter utter shower
SCAM
absolutely pathetic, happen to win any money with these guys and you'll get "randomly selected" to provide ID and proof of address, which they literally will not accept anything less than information that will essentially risk identity theft.
Worst on-line betting company ever …
Worst on-line betting company ever (IMO), website either doesn't work or is very slow. It's also very difficult to navigate around. After I had placed my bet it took over an hour to register on their system, I also had to contact them to credit my account with the promotional offer (72 hours)!!
Take my advice and steer clear, not worth the hassle of opening an account.
The 188bet promotions are the most …
The 188bet promotions are the most clever scams ever.
But site runs good and service is fast.
Just now completed the sign up promo and after a long discussion with support, even support noticed that Customers can be in debt after using sign up bonus. Thats right you could end up in negative balance after using free bet, nearly happened to me. If i had not won one essential bet i could have ended with -20. I think they will fix it cause support was shocked at the possibility when checking account.
Scenario: 1. bet 10, lost. After get 30 free bet. Bet 3x10, its allowed, but apparently against some terms. If those bets lose you end up at -30. Cause they are stake not returned and they put stake at balance, that is deducted at the end no matter what. I ended up winning 2 of the 10 free bets and got 50 at balance. Support told that at that point customers need to roll 30 as one solid bet to complete the promo. And after that they take away 30 no matter if you win or lose. I won again and they took 30 off, ended up at 50 again even thou roll won. So at end talked with support again and there we noticed if i had lost one more of the 3x10 free bets i would be in negative balance.
Shocker, but this scam is the most elaborate thing ever.
I like 188bet sites service and response, but watch out for the terms and the website traps that allow you to fall in terms traps!
188bet could learn from Williamshill and 888bet or other sites that dont allow to place free bets wrong or have wrong balance, but they made it that its possible.
Scam company
Scam company. Impossible to withdraw cash and don't honour free bet promo
Do not use
The website is poor and very difficult to use, particularly in mobile. The main problem is that they deliberately make it difficult to withdraw your cash. 188bet allowed me to make a deposit using a MasterCard, but will not allow withdrawals to MasterCard, so it's now impossible for me to get my cash out. This is not made clear to the customer and is very misleading. Avoid.
Withdrawals are impossible
After placing 2x £10 bets during Euro 2016, I qualified for 2x £10 Free Bets on the Euro finals.
I missed my opportunity to place the free bets and about 2 weeks later I tried to withdraw my balance. They said I had to wager £20 to clear my free bets (which I never used, and were now impossible to place as the Euros were finished) and therefore refused my withdrawal.
Reluctantly I placed 2 bets at £10 and then tried to withdraw again, at which point they removed the details of my card I deposited from, meaning I could only request a cheque, which can take up to 30 days to arrive.
Still they are trying to stall me by putting me through Profile Verification checks, which I have already completed when I signed up. Hopefully I will get my withdrawal processed soon.
The only plus side of this is that if they had of gave me the withdrawal the first time I wouldn't have placed 2 more £10 bets, and won on both of them. They seem butthurt that the house didn't win this time. So please 188bet, give me my money you theives
