Someone named "Lee" called me yesterday having breached data from Instagram and calling me names such us "you are mental". Definitely bad company. Also, I have never filled any forms for this company in response to the below comment.
I would like to hightlight the abusiveness and rasism of the person calling "because you are from Poland you are mental". That is what he said.
And they called me the Instagram name, not Monika then, which is not changing the fact of verbal abusiveness of Lee.

Dealing with 1st glass was a positive experience from start to finish. Lynn who came and discussed the door was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The door was fitted by Lee who was courteous, professional and friendly. The door was fitted perfectly and no mess left afterwards. The quality of the door is top notch and I am thrilled to bits with it. I even got my twirly door handles and my door knocker fitted. Would highly recommend

I came across this company by chance and were the only company out of three that got back to me straight away as the others didn’t even bother
From start to finish the communication has been excellent and any appointments made were for filled and on time

From getting a quote, surveyor coming out to measure, communications via WhatsApp and telephone calls to arrange a date to fit French doors, the service has been amazing. Can’t believe how smooth it all went. Would highly recommend this company and would definitely use again if needed in the future. Last but not least a special mention to the fitter Lee. Worked for 4 hours non stop and might I add in this heatwave fitting the doors. Never left any mess at all. Such a lovely man .

Chris and Anthony came to fit my second window from this great company, I had Chris fit my 9ft box bay a few months ago so was very happy to see him again as I know how great at his profession he is. My mum also had her window changed at her home after seeing how great they were fitting the box bay. The staff on the phone are also so polite, I did have a push back on the date for unforeseen circumstances but I was always kept in the picture and was great to have the updates. Both my mum and myself will always happily recommend this company. I've been very impressed, again.

We previously had all downstairs doors and windows replaced by 1st Glass last year, so when it came to our two upstairs windows we asked for a quote. Cheapest out of all, however the price doesn’t compromise the quality or service. We had our windows installed yesterday and I can’t compliment Chris and Anthony enough, professional, friendly, clean, they covered everything up including the stairs, bed and carpets, and completely cleaned and tidied up afterwards. Super impressed!! Would absolutely recommend!

I am sharing my detailed experience with this company I decided to trust, I would like to highlight both the positives and areas for improvement throughout the review.

The initial interaction was very positive. The salesperson demonstrated patience and helpfulness, guiding me through various options in relation to colors, designs, and potential changes. This personal attention helped me to build confidence in the company’s expertise. However, the scheduling process showed some challenges, with 3 cancellations. Despite this, the company compensated me with a discount, showing a gesture of goodwill.

Quality and workmanship were never in question. The high standard of the installed windows, sills, and door was exceptional. Communication from the administrative side was efficient and friendly, including proactive calls to confirm the order details and offer last-minute adjustments. Staff friendliness and professionalism was consistent throughout the works.

One aspect that made me uneasy was the request for full payment upfront, even though it was optional and came with a discount incentive. Choosing to pay only after completion alleviated my concerns without any further pressure from the company.

The installation team, represented by Stuart and Dan, comes particularly commended. They were courteous, hardworking, and meticulous in protecting my home’s interior during installation. Their dedication was clear, especially given the extreme heat conditions they worked under. They also took time to explain how the door functioned, ensuring I felt comfortable with the new installation.

In conclusion, despite some scheduling hiccups, the overall experience was very positive. The combination of excellent product quality, attentive customer service, and skilled installers resulted in me being a totally satisfied customer whom I would confidently recommend for similar home improvement needs.

We had a composite door fitted last year, and I want to start by saying that the initial service was excellent. The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful, and the fitter did a great job—everything was completed to a high standard at the time.
Unfortunately, our experience with aftercare has not matched that initial impression.
Earlier this month, the external lock failed completely, with the key unable to turn. I reported this on 11 May and explained that Fridays would be the most convenient. I was initially advised that the earliest appointment was 29 May, which felt like a long wait given the issue. After discussing this, I was offered an earlier appointment on 22 May and told I would receive a text confirming the time slot.
No text was received. Instead, I was contacted at 8:30am on the day to be told that no one would be attending due to workload. I was then offered another appointment on 23 May in the afternoon, with reassurance that I would receive a call ahead of time.
Again, no communication was received, and I ended up waiting in all day unnecessarily.
Since then, I have also struggled to get through by phone, with calls going unanswered and messages not returned.
It’s disappointing that the aftercare service and communication haven’t reflected the strong start we experienced. With better organisation and clearer communication, this could have been a much more positive experience overall.

I have just had a door installed by 1st Glass and couldn't be happier with the service and quality of the door.

From the initial sales steps, Josh was friendly and knowledgeable in what options of doors and finish could be achieved. The office teams kept me up to date throughout the whole process working around the flexibility of my working hours. Lee who arrived to fit the door was friendly and gave clear guidance on what he would be doing and how to use the door.

Paul was professional and answered any questions I had. Very efficient, doing everything in his own. The service has been great from point of sale to installation. All staff have been warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend this business.

Absolutely thrilled with my new front door and side flags! From the initial quote right through to installation, the service was excellent from start to finish. Great price, friendly service and everything was handled so professionally.

Lee who installed the door was brilliant – very friendly, helpful and his attention to detail was fantastic. Top marks for cleaning up too.
