Action Challenge provide fully supported holidays to amazing destinations. There is usually a local support team as well as UK guides. Everything has been carefully planned for you. Well organised support before the trip and excellent support from the Action Challenge guide (Lynsey) during the climb. The support team of local guides and porters were exceptional at every stage of the climb. An experience I will cherish forever.

The EBC trek was so much more than we expected!
Action Challenge sorted everything from our international flights, transfers, internal flights, tea house accommodation and meals to making sure all our permits were sorted for us!
Our group leader Elaine was amazing and our medic Sam was brilliant.
Our local support team of Sherpas, guides and yak men (and our yaks) were fantastic - these guys (& girl) supported us the whole way!

This trek and the mountains threw lots of challenges our way, the scenery was spectacular and the trekking was hard work but the people in our group, our support team and the locals we met in tea houses and lunch/coffee stops are what helped made this trip unforgettable!

What an amazing experience and one we will never forget. My wife and I have used Action Challenge for various UK based challenges which have been really well organised and the Kilimanjaro trip was no different.
The main guide and medic were so professional and the Tanzania based guides and porters were brilliant.
We also did the safari and Zanzibar extensions which were great to relax after the long climb.

Climbing Kilimanjaro - Leshomo Route with Action Challenge was the best thing I've ever done! The whole trip was extremely well organised with very knowledgeable but fun mountain leaders and the porter team that they use in Tanzania (Big Expeditions) were the most friendly, hardworking and kind people I've ever met!
The food, equipment and organisation throughout the trip was excellent! Couldn't recommend Action Challenge more - will definitely be looking into future trips with them!

One plus point is having an English speaking medic/guide with you the entire time. Amazing challenge and the views were stunning. Challenges you without being too extreme. Would definitely recommend to everyone

A highly professional operation in both planning and execution that retained person to person communications throughout.
This was a new event in the calendar of Action Challenge and one in which I was keen to take part as I had often heard that the Gower is a beautiful area of South Wales. I was not disappointed.
The weather in July can be very changeable, and so it proved to be hence I was relieved to have chosen to do the 50 km x 1000 m hike rather than attempt a 100 km continuous or semi-continuous version. We started in the third wave at 08:30 hrs and at 16 Deg with humidity rising. By early afternoon the temperature had risen to 24 Deg and for a few hours along the coast we were totally exposed to the sun.
At this point the free issue neck scarf came in really useful to protect against sunburn and, when wet, as a coolant. Eventually the threatening storm clouds appeared and within 15 mins of completion we were faced with a thunderstorm whilst retrieving our car from a very wet grass field.
It had taken 6 months of progressive training to get myself fit; at 78 yrs I am a regular hill walker and have completed the highest peaks offered by the six nations constituting the British Isles, but it was well worth the extra effort in training guided by the professionals at Action Challenge.
The 'Challenge' was to complete in 12 hrs of activity and I achieved it in 11 hrs 20 mins with the support of a daughter on the day and the many people who opted to support my charity, Prostate Cancer UK.

This is a never to be forgotten lifetime adventure. This is my second time around walking Kilimanjaro. Is was no less challenging, exhilerating and no less sense of acheivement. Witness and marvel at the super human efforts of the support team in providing you home comforts as best they can on a mountain side..and they do. The AC team of leader and medic provide first class team and individual care and attention. Nightly briefings are detailed and even after the toughest day are inspirational. Summiting at sunrise is a sight to behold worth every tear, blister, sickness and aching muscle. AC are totally there for you every step of your journey from initial enquiry, mountain side, extensions to arriving home, they assisted witrh our bespoke week of relation post our challenge, a first class organization with a "Hakuna Matata" attitude. If Kili is on your bucket list..go do it with AC

Climbing Kilimanjaro was a voyage of discovery for me, in terms of physical endurance and mental strength, but boy was it worth it. The experience itself is one of those that you'll never forget. Action Challenge and the local team made the whole trek feel more comfortable than I thought possible, covering every detail and being on hand to respond to any of our group's needs. Joe and Matt made a fantastic team as guide and medic respectively, and were on hand to provide any support necessary and help to group gel and navigate the challenges the climb and the elements. The food was surprisingly good and the camp team were amazing in settling up camp for us every day. The office team arranged everything we needed and helped with visas etc. I would thoroughly recommend Action Challenge and this particular event.

Everest Base Camp- wow, what an experience.
From paying my deposit until arriving back from the trip, Action Challenge sorted everything. They responded to questions, they organised all my travel and accomodation.
All staff in the office and on the trip were friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend using this company for any of your adventures. This is my third challenge with them and I will hopefully booking another soon.

Have done a few UK ultra challenges with Action Challenge, all brilliantly organised. I’m a solo walker. Decided this year to sign up for my first overseas challenge (Jordan) which was early this month. Would definitely recommend this event and don’t doubt the other overseas challenges are equally well organised. Would definitely encourage anyone considering signing up to do an AC challenge, to take the plunge (health permitting). You won’t regret it, even if it hurts.
From the meet and greet at Luton airport until our return, the organisation and support was professional, supportive and friendly. UK crew (included 3 medics) couldn’t have done more for the challengers. Aside from ensuring we were all safe, well and comfortable, they gave freely of their friendship, time and knowledge to ensure we had the best possible experience.
The local Jordan support, from airport rep, drivers to base camp crew was incredible. The latter kept the camp clean, made sure we were well fed and entertained us. Not sure how they managed to prepare food to such a high standard in the desert, but they did.
The heat and the soft sand made this a challenging challenge but being in the vastness and beauty of the Wadi Rum took some of the edge off.
My fellow challengers were a pleasure to be around. I always felt someone was looking out for me.
To top off an amazing event [for me] has to be a trip to Petra. I have no adjective(s) that do it justice.

Fantastic Kili trip this October. Everything lived up to what I'd hoped, and all the organisation was spot on. Wouldn't hesitate to use AC again. The actual challenge was really tough but felt fully supported by the local crew, the fantastic medic and group leader and a lovely group of fellow hikers!

Just go for it. Put one foot in front of the other and keep going. If I can do the Sahara Challenge anyone can! And the Action Challenge team will be with you every steep of the way, you won’t find a more helpful and friendly team, and very reasonable prices too.

Great experience with Action Challange! My first abroad challange with them. Great organisation, best camp ever, nice staff and very good food. Despite remote location all very hygienic, clean and up to standard. Challange itself definitely worth trying but get some training first!! No bad word to say, all positive!!

Action Challenge is a very efficient organisation in planning events. Every detail is covered. My recent trek to Kilimanjaro was incredible albeit the toughest thing I have ever done. We had our own amazing leader Collette who along with the Doctor met us at LHR and we had local porter's and guides leading the way up to the summit of the tallest mountain in Africa! It was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime.
