I picked up a pair of MEINDL BURMA Pro Walking boots at a great rate back in September 2019. When I started using them in January 2020, I was surprised because I've been buying this same model for over 20 years. Unfortunately, they weren't waterproof and allowed water to seep in. The team at J D Sports in Rochdale, where I sent them for a refund, insisted that they should be waterproof. It became clear that the people I was dealing with didn't understand my needs. I've been attempting to get in touch with ActivInstinct directly but haven't had any luck. If anyone can assist, I'd appreciate it!

Bought MEINDL BURMA Pro Walking boots…
Bought MEINDL BURMA Pro Walking boots for good price in September 2019.
Started to use them in January 2020, to my surprise having bought same boots for over
Period of 20years.
The boots let water in, staff at the parent company J D sports in Rochdale were I sent them for a refund said they did need to be waterproof.
Realising I was dealing with People with no knowledge of my pastime I am trying to contact
ActivInstinct direct without any success, can anybody HELP.

Like many others on here, ordered items got told expected delivery date and that came and went. Have chased and chased and chased and have only ever been told its in Warehouse awaiting dispatch. Thats been over 3 weeks now and still not got my order. The company is owned by JD Sports. Pathetic service.

Rubbish - ordered from them and told when I went to collect that item had been cancelled. Got email following day with no explanation. Wont use again

Item never turned up, emailed a few times, no reply of course, tracking incorrect, said was at shop to collect, shop said otherwise, tracking and comms then went dead, tracking still shows in transit 3 weeks later, had to go through Paypal for a refund, I wish I had read the reviews first. This would seem to be quite common with this company.

Don't Bother - Stay Well Clear
Not possible to award zero stars which is unfortunate. Absolute shocking service. Consistently advertise goods they simply do not have. Order is subsequently cancelled with no warning or reason. Ordered shoes that were 'being prepared for delivery' then cancelled an hour or so later. The history of this company tells it all - used to be called millet sports, check it out. Stay well clear!

One of the worst online companies I have ever used. Like other reviewers I ordered a product from next day delivery and they took payment but no communication for 2 days when they informed me they were refunding me because their system could not process the order - apparently it will take 3-5 days to clear. They have ruined a 12 year olds birthday. Did my research and thought they couldn't be as bad as the reviews as part of JD Sports and Millets groups but I was wrong and will never use any of them again

I can only agree with the other poor reviews. Placed an order, was cancelled with no explanation...and was told to re-order. I duly re-ordered and paid for next day delivery as I have a running event at the weekend. That was 5 days ago. Today I find out that my second order has been cancelled again with no explanation. What a waste of time. Buyers beware...I really wouldn't bother with this company.

I would give ZERO if I could and I rarely leave reviews but I wish I had checked this company out before ordering. Website looked real but suspicious when there are ZERO contact details - the 'live chat' they promise - doesnt exist - the emails - never get answered - and paying by paypal doesnt really help - the phone number on paypal for this company doesnt exist either..... get the idea?
Items do not arrive next day - or at all. They failed to respond to emails - The number on my order went to JD Sports who sounded unsurprised to get my complaint and are connected to this company but did nothing except tell me to call them - I said I had tried but this was the number they gave out!
Eventually I raised a dispute via Paypal - and SURPRISE I got a refund within about 1 hour.... funny how they responded to that but not my emails sent to every address they provided hey?
No apology - no response - just the paypal dispute resolved - I initially planned to pay by credit card - their site failed - paypal was only option and now I see why they must keep good records with paypal and resolve disputes immediately.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME - Major hassle and wish I had never used them - as for JD sports - they are all connected and I will never use them again either!

Bad people, waste your time. Ordered 6 cans of tennis balls at a cheap price, I thought great. Pay for them and they started cancelling the order in stages. Confusing people to do business with, selling items they do not have in stock. Time wasters to avoid. Can I them give no stars please.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. Placed 6 separate orders with them for various items all to be delivered to a local store. 5 of the orders were cancelled because of supposed stock issues and it is likewise taking quite a while for them to process. Avoid this company like the plague because you not get a refund at all

Wish I’d looked here before I placed my order. The top review is exactly the same issue I’m having. Ordered some meindel sandals for my dads birthday. Was told they would be here in 3 days. 3 days passed and they cancelled the order with no explanation. They said a refund had been issued and would be with me in 5 days. I now have no sandals and I’m £90 out of pocket. Just looking at the top review before writing this another person has the same problem and they are 4 weeks after with still no refund. I will be reporting the company to trading standards today.

they are the cheapest on the net but no good if they take your money and you don't get goods or refund
