Never again...
After receiving an email to pick-up footwear from one of their London stores, I looked up the postcode (from the confirmation email) within a 'Maps' App and made my way on-foot. The postcode and street-name provided was not enough to find exactly where the store was. I used multiple 'Maps' applications and even asked stores within the vicinity of the postcode if they knew, or heard of 'Activinstinct'. After no luck in locating any clue or sign of the store, and walking around in circles for a while, I accepted my navigational defeat.
I thought this is not the end of the world, as I can ask the company for detailed directions to the store/pick-up point, then I could go on for a successful second-attempt.
To my surprise, Activinstinct could not even provide a simple "The store for that postcode is next to 'X' or 'Y'", or even possibly a street-view image of the store-front. Even at a stretch I would have appreciated an option to send to my home address, although I was already exhausted with the unhelpful exchange.
The response from ActivInstinct was simply "Sorry, we can't help you". Now I have to wait up to 14 days to receive a refund, as according to policy a refund is only processed when the item is returned to the distribution centre, from this 'magical' store.
Rather than just complain, I'd like to make a friendly suggestion: at least provide more guidance for each of your stores/pick-up points on your website, consider Implementing street-view images, or a simple one-line sentence "You can find us next to [Insert adjacent building or landmark here]".
I never thought I would encounter this type of issue, let alone not receiving any further guidance where I can actually pick-up my purchase.
Sadly, never again and i'll ensure people know of this situation.

I should've checked the reviews first! Ordered a swim wetsuit and then 2 days later got an email saying they were cancelling my order and issuing a refund. Very disappointing, as it's still marked as in stock on the website. I just really hope I get the money back!

Ordered a pair of shoes. Never arrived. Were a gift and paid for next day shipping by DPD. Will never order from them again. started a Paypal refund. No word from the company, no nothing. Not impressed at all. Had to order from another place to get shoes in time for gift.

My heart sank when I saw the terrible reviews here after I had placed my order. But, Happy Days, my shoes arrived in 48 hours, in perfect condition. So overall, excellent service, super speedy delivery and what a bargain!! Significantly cheaper than anywhere else online.

Should have read the reviews before ordering
Should have read the reviews before ordering from here...due to my line of work I need a bag to carry kit and uniform therefore decided to order a 90litre capacity bag and a few other things.
A week after being told it would be ready to be picked up, I’m being told that the order was lost in transit.
I wouldn’t mind if the order had been out of stock but at least update your website to advise this...
AVOID - False advertising scam
As everyone on here is saying, they falsely advertise stock on the website at a cheap price and cancel the order a few hours later. I've had 4 orders cancelled as they weren't in stock - trading standards need to get involved with these guys as it seems like a complete scam. You must avoid them, and I wish I had read the reviews before wasting my time with them.
Great if no need to return!
I placed 2 separate orders for shoes on this site which arrived quickly and at a great price so I was ready to leave a 5* review. However, I had to return one pair as they damaged my toes after only being worn for an hour due to a very strong rubber top. I contacted ActivInstinct (well within 28 days) and was sent a returns label so they could be checked - still 5* service. That's where it all changed - I hadn't heard anything after a week I so got in contact and was simply told they had been returned to me as there was nothing wrong with them and I wasn't entitled to a refund as I had worn them. I asked for a report (which I never got) and after receiving condescending emails, I asked to speak to a manager. I was called first thing the following morning and was offered a full refund as a goodwill gesture so this is why I have left 3* but I would be cautious if you do need to return any orders as this very much tainted an otherwise great shopping experience.
Shambolic service
Shambolic service, everything gets 'lost in transit' even when its meant to be tracked. They can't replace the lost item as its always coincidentally out of stock. Avoid like the plague.

Bought boots for £79.99 then 2 minutes later received email saying order cancelled with no explanation. Refund to paypal estimated to be 9 days!! Do not use this company. Boots are still shown as in stock on web site.
I ordered couple of items
I ordered couple of items. Items showing on it's way. After 11 days I contacted them and they said it was missing on transport. They agreed to resend it. After couple of days I contacted them and said they won't be able to deliver it. Next order i am waiting 12 days still product didn't came. It seems they advertise discounted items but after order didn't send it says out of stock.

Sports Bra order
I bought a sports bra and used the free click and collect service. Item was tracked easily in ‘My account’ section of their website. Item arrived within a couple of days and collection was easy. Excellent quality item for a bargain price. No issues here.
Rubbish
Rubbish. As lots of other people have found, they advertise items at bargain prices which they clearly don't have in stock. The out of stock item I ordered almost a week ago is still listed on their website. Complete time-wasters.

Not good - they take your money and then days later you are told it is not in stock, when you could've ordered from somewhere else. Sure you get your money back, but what a waste of time. I have placed orders with them 3 times and the last 2 times the same thing has happened. Avoid

Very Poor Service
Very poor. Nothing wrong with the product, but paid for next day delivery and it arrived after two days. I have since been bombarded with sales eMails BUT absolutely no response to my complaint for 3 weeks now. Shocking customer service.
Ridiculous
I ordered the Helly Hansen Dubliner Bomber Jacket In Graphite blue yesterday, and paid 6.99 for next day delivery via DPD. I recieved confirmation of my order by activinstinct, and a tracking number for DPD. It is now 23. 21 the following day, and DPD still have not recieved my order to courier it-DPD haven't recieved anything at all!
Via activinstincts website tracking, they claim it is out for order.
I have phoned their head office (JD) and they said they have nothing to do with activinstinct, they are only a switchboard and that activinstinct only deal with comms via email or twitter. I have tweeted their 3 different twitter accounts, emailed, sent a Facebook message, and have had absolutely no response.
I am supposed to be going away the day after tomorrow and I needed this jacket for my trip.
Feeling incredibly annoyed and frustrated, and worried I now may have lost all the money I spent reading other reviews. Their customer service is non existant. I have never written a negative review before but I am so annoyed at this company. Watchdog should without a doubt be informed.
