We have been thoroughly impressed with Advantage Testing and their tutors. One of our daughters has been working on math with Barbara for several years and she has grown immensely in her confidence and skills. They have a great rapport and work wonderfully together. Our older daughters worked with Kelly for ACT prep and were very well prepared. Kelly challenged them and they had also had a good rapport. We would recommend Advantage Testing to anyone that needs subject tutoring and/or test prep.

Kelly Schwartz is always available. She give efficient and effective tutoring advice. Even with our two very different children, she was able to connect with them and we are extremely pleased by the results and the process.

Both of our children were extremely fortunate to have worked with Kelly. He was phenomenal with both and able to help them believe in themselves and thrive. I was so impressed with how Kelly handled two very different types of students and enabled them both to achieve in their own unique ways. He knows how to teach and to push with care and encouragement - which is something that I wish all teachers and tutors were gifted with as well.

Incredible tutors here. They find the perfect person to fit the needs of both the parents and the child. If you want your child to excel and tap into their full potential, this is the place to take them. Amazing results that last a lifetime.

We had such a great experience with Advantage Tutoring. My son’s tutor, Romy, was fabulous to work with throughout the entire process. From our initial meeting to the last of my son’s sessions, Romy was professional, considerate and patient! Romy connected with Jake from the start and they handled coordinating everything- we didn’t have to get in the middle of their scheduling. Romy was flexible when needed and she knew they right amount to push and encourage Jake to keep going. (He tutored for the ACT.) We were very pleased with his progress and ultimate success; Romy supporting him along the way. These kids have a lot to deal with and manage and working with Advantage and Romy made the process less stressful. We had the confidence that he was getting done what he needed to and the scores then to show it!

Jay Resh and Advantage Testing have literally transformed our lives!! Jay has helped my seven children excel in challenging courses in high school and college, on the SAT, ACT, the various standardized subject tests, the GMAT, and the LSAT. And they don’t even dread their tutoring sessions! My three children who have studied for the LSAT love finding out Jay’s tricks for the games. They actually look forward to their sessions! And Jay and team sure have made things easier for me and my husband, when he was alive. With seven children, we could not have found the time to help them get through chemistry, even had we been equipped to do so. Whenever someone called me from college, frantic because of frustration with a course, my answer was always, “Call Jay. He’ll help you.” Jay absolutely makes himself accessible. I can rarely remember a time when he said that he couldn’t hold a session exactly when we needed it. Jay and Advantage Testing have played as important a part in my children’s education as St. John’s School, Princeton, Vanderbilt, UVA, USC, W&L, and UT have!

Advantage testing has wonderful tutors to assist students with ACT/SAT/ISEE test prep. They are able to handle a variety of students with different learning styles! Kelly McDowell has been an exceptional tutor and helped my daughters reach their fullest potential!

We have 4 boys and have had the lovely pleasure of having Kelly as our son's tutor for the ACT. Avery is now 23 and working in NY. Ryan is now 21 and a Junior in the Business Honors program at UT. And Reece just finished working with Kelly and scored a 34 on his ACT. She is amazing. She is patient and explains everything so well. She gives them homework and gives us the parents feedback all the time. I truly hope Kelly Schwartz is still around when our 15 yr old is ready to take the ACT.

Both my son and my daughter have done ACT preparation with Kelly Schwarz at Advantage over the last couple of years. She helped them each to raise their scores significantly. Advantage provides the opportunity for supervised testing to find out what areas need work, and Kelly was excellent about focusing on those areas. In addition to being really good at what she does, Kelly is very personable, and both of my kids enjoyed sessions and like her very much. That’s a big deal when you are adding extra work during a stressful time. She’s very pleasant to work with, and scheduling and billing was efficient. No complaints from me or either of my students! I highly recommend Kelly and Advantage.

We have used Advantage Testing for our two boys. One of our sons used their services to help him improve his math skills and to prepare for the ACT. The other son used one of their tutors to help prepare for the ACT. I was extremely happy with the outstanding tutors that Advantage Testing has. They are of high caliber and I would recommend Advantage tutors to anyone that needs help with any of their school subjects, the SAT or the ACT. The tutors are highly educated and take this job very seriously. I also like that the tutors are very personable and truly care about their students. The Advantage Testing in Houston, under the direction of Jay Resh, is run very efficiently. His kind demeanor and love of teaching transcends throughout Advantage. Both our sons benefitted greatly because of Advantage! Look no further, use their tutors! You will be pleased!

It was super helpful for both ACT training and AP training! Only real downside is how expensive it is (about 1000$/hour if I recall correctly)

My daughter used Advantage testing for her SAT prep and was able to obtain a score that helped her get into the school of her dreams. When she was preparing for the LSAT we chose Advantage again. The state and area she was working in only had one tutor and, honestly, in hindsight it was not the best fit for her. When she came back to NY she used Advantage for her GRE prep and her tutor was wonderful. He was knowledge about not only the test but the entire application process and was able to calm her test anxiety. While very pricey, if the tutor is the right fit, if would highly recommend Advantage testing.

Tutoring with Advantage was great. I used another company before which I didn’t like, but had great success when I switched. My tutor (Cameron) was amazing with recognizing the specific skills I struggled with, and helping me understand the material. I also was given many tips and tricks for the ACT that significantly impacted the score I got. I also got my target score after only one tetThank you!!

My daughter started LSAT tutoring on an accelerated program and her score has greatly improved and is still improving. We are very happy with her tutor, he’s been fantastic. Professional and helpful.
