I booked a car online for Alamo Palma
I booked a car online for Alamo Palma (Mallorca) on the Alamo website. Paid 75 EUR deposit (on the receipt it is said to be paid to Target broker). The reservation announced I still had 300 EUR to pay at arrival.
When getting the car et the Alamo desk of Palma Mallorca, they said they had to do a new contract and made me pay 380 EUR (instead of 300 EUR). Telling me I had to ask for a refund of the 75 EUR deposit when returning the car cause I paid it to the broker and not to Alamo (I just followed the instructions on the alamo website when booking the car).
They never reimbursed me the 75 EUR.
Moreover, they gave me a full electric car (and I reserved fuel) with a theoretical 300km (200km in reality) autonomy to travel on an island where there are only a few chargers, only at specific locations (and not at the places you wish to visit), not to be found easily and most of them out of order. They did not even gave me the right cable to recharge so I was stuck with this electric car I could not use until they found time to bring the right charger (not even a fuel car as requested).
I am seriously disappointed with this car rental company and would not recommend it.
