AMAZING EXPERIENCE!. This is my second time using Alternative Airlines, and I am so impressed with how I am about to book the travel I need and still save myself cost by paying over time. It is great to be able to save on cost, but not lose your desired travel plans.

Made my airline reservation using Affirm. Within 15 minutes I had my confirmation number and ticket. Tried Southwest first. Have not heard back.

Too confusing
Too confusing. Booked flights with zero luggage which makes zero sense. Refund refused for the extra 300$ i had to pay ontop a 700$ flight. Absolutely do not recommend.

Thank you for leaving us feedback. I am sorry that you feel as though you have had a disappointing experience using Alternative Airlines. I can see that you originally enquired on 21JULY about bag allowance and you were advised by an agent that you could see your bag allowance on your eticket. There were ongoing communications on 21st regarding bags and you were advised by an agent that only a carry-on was included in the ticket you chose.
On 22JULY you requested a refund for bags and was advised that was not an option; On 29JULY you requested a refund for bags as you stated you had not seen in the booking that you hadn't added bags. You were again advised no refunds were due.
Unfortunately due to the fact that you had not added bags, it meant that you were forced to pay for them at the airport which is always going to be more expensive; It did clearly state on your eticket and booking confirmation what you had purchased.
I am sorry you were disappointed.

I booked a flight with Alternative Airlines because of their pay-later option.
What went well:
The payment plan was exactly what I needed. I was able to secure the ticket without paying everything upfront, and the booking confirmation came through quickly. The website made it easy to compare prices.
What they do well:
Alternative Airlines does really well at making international travel affordable with installment payments. They also show all fees clearly before you pay, so there are no surprises.
What could be better:
For urgent travel, I think phone or live chat support could be faster.
Overall I would recommend them if you need flexible payment options, just book early to allow time for any questions.

Awful experience, stay clear of them
If I could leave 0 I would, my flight was cancelled by the airline. This company was unhelpful every step of the way. And refused to disclose the break down of how much I paid and how much of that amount had gone to the ticket. So when I was due to get my refund I did not know how much I was due back. Instead you speak to someone on WhatsApp and they keep sending you back to the airline. Cowboys
