I have bought several bathrooms from Shama over many years. She is my ‘go to’ and I wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere. We have just bought a new house which needs three bathrooms and I went straight to her for informed, helpful advice - great customer service and I could not recommend her more highly

Tahir has made the whole process super easy and straightforward. He has always been very friendly, helpful and takes time to go through all the steps with me - thank you for all your help! :)

Alternative bathrooms have always been my go-to. Vijay is Super knowledgeable, reliable and fast.

We never felt completely comfortable working with Alternative Bathrooms but our architects kept pushing us to use them. The over friendly nature of Vijay the sales assistant was creepy and made us wary and indeed we should have been…

RIPPED OFF
We were being hugely overcharged! For the last order we made I caught it in time. For £4k of product we were being charged £6k - very quickly he was happy to settle on £4k.

FURTHER DISHONESTY
This led me to check the other invoices we paid. I went through a 2023 invoice line by line and found that mostly we could have purchased the same items at high street stores for far less. In that instance we were over charged by £1,800.

CHEAP PRODUCTS THAT ARE FALLING APART AFTER 6 MONTHS
The brands that were ‘recommended’ were all ones we hadn’t heard of and within 6 months we realised they are garbage…taps falling off, cisterns not flushing properly - everything will now need to be replaced. I guess it’s easier to overcharge on non branded items than well known ones…

IF YOU DON’T LIKE BEING OVERCHARGED ON POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS AND EXPERIENCE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISHONESTY PLEASE SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE….anywhere else

I had a very specialised request for a shower room and new bathroom with specific needs for my son. Giovanni from the Brentford branch went above and beyond. I went in countless times and sent many emails to get the design right, now that the fitter has finished I can happily say all has worked out well. My family are very happy with the design, quality of products and attention to detail. All sanitary ware is future proof for my son's needs thanks to Giovanni.

Not sure why I bothered to send an email with photos as instructed by one of the staff. After nearly 3 weeks we heard nothing and then they said they were too busy and had lots of papers to catch up on. Avoid this company as you are greeted with long faces.

We worked with the Battersea store starting in January 2023 for a bathroom and an en suite. Kieran and Glenn were great working through various options with some tricky design situations. The bathroom was completed in September and the en suite in December with the kit being ordered in July. Throughout this period the support was unwavering and patient with smooth handovers between staff. Multiple deliveries were needed as the builders required kit on site at different times. We also had fantastic support with choosing accessories and ensuring builders had specifications to avoid errors.

Working with Dave through the whole design process we now have the bathroom of our dreams.
Dave tested us on what we really wanted not just say yes and take our money. If you are in the market for design and supply make sure you add him to your list of people to talk to.

Ask for Dave when using this store this guy went above and beyond to help with my bathroom.
Dave’s knowledge of not just the design of the bathrooms but also the fitting which made the purchase so much easier.
As a fitter I will be sure to go back and see Dave.

I called to make an enquiry about a product that I had not bought from them and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Dave was extremely helpful. He sorted my issue out immediately and even asked me to call if there were any further issues. VERY helpful and I would recommend them to anyone

Just Avoid this company. Endless problems, and we were only getting a small WC fitted. Wrong items delivered, resulting in additional stress and costs at time of fitting, with little in way of apology. Needed multiple calls to get them to realise they had sent the wrong items out.. they eventually realised and sent replacements but that was stressful enough. . Within months, problems with rust and corrosion affecting sink, and clicker waste - and these very meant to be high quality and expensive items. Repeatedly tried to resolve issues with them, but they ignore all calls and emails, and eventually we have had to involved our credit card company - not what you expect from a supposedly high end supplier and company.

I completely agree with the other review on here and do not recommend purchasing from Alternative Bathrooms Ealing. One star is generous. I regret ordering my bathroom through them.

We had countless problems on a very small bathroom order- wrong items delivered, deliveries not turning up on the day they were due to, missing items, a used item which had to be exchanged and incorrect information being given on products. Every time a product had to be replaced it took several calls/emails to chase fixing it and then to chase delivery- no updates were ever provided on timelines or if things were even being looked into.

The company has no urgency at all- having placed my order before Christmas 2020, in the middle of May 2021 I am still chasing to fix problems and ended up having to pay to get an item I was missold fixed despite it being admitted I was given incorrect information. Emails take days to get a reply, if at all, and calls go unanswered. Very poor experience and in no way a company I’d ever recommend. Alternative bathrooms were originally recommended to me by builders who have told me they have had other clients with a similar experience.

I honestly don’t understand how Alternative Bathrooms can be a functioning company based on my experience and am now having to approach my credit card company to resolve the final issue as no one has replied to my emails or calls.

Company provided a competitive quote for a large order re master bath, en-suite and cloakroom, however, we faced a number of issues from that point forward. The expensive shower screen bared no resemblance to the product that we were sold nor the image on our order form (very large chrome brackets), but Alternative Bathrooms refused to exchange/refund because its box had been opened (blamed supplier - Merlyn Showers). The sales person ordered the wrong toilet seats, not soft close which was clearly stated on our order but is refusing the exchange them. If you decide to buy from this company, make sure you have physically seen the exact item beforehand, ensure the sales person enters the a full description of the product and supplier product code/sku on the order so that you can check that they are ordering the correct item and it is as described, and only pay using a credit/debit card (which we thankfully did). They are nice enough 'sales' guys but they do not understand the products that they're selling, nor do they offer practical advice and the company has no interest in after-sales / customer services. Aside from the above issues, we had to chase deliveries and had other problems with wrong/incompatible products but we were eventually able to exchange those ones. I am certain that there are more professional bathroom shops around with better after-sale customer service. A Ealing/Brentford branch customer.
