Paying for Prime which promoted next day delivery and now that is no longer the option. Nothing is next day delivery so why pay for something you no longer get! Very disappointing since "they've" ma... See more

I returned my order through Purolater 2…
I returned my order through Purolater 2 weeks ago. I had called Amazon regarding my refund and was told they see I dropped it off and I will receive my refund. I just called back again and now they say they cannot see that I dropped it off. I was on the line for over 30 minutes and had enough and hung up. You cannot even on their website find how to contact them. I am considering closing my Amazon account altogether. The service sucks. It's not worth anymore ordering with them. Returns are terrible now.
Representatives and Supervisor hung up on me
The agent was speaking over me, had an attitude for no reason, he kept cutting me of and calling me Reem, which is not my name. I eventually told him my name again. He brushed me, and put me on hold for a while. Came back, and called me Reem again. I told him that it's now my second time telling him that my name is not Reem. He then hung up on me. I called back for a supervisor, waited almost an hour. the supervisor said they couldn't process my complaint due to system issues. I called back the next day, I waited a while and this "supervisor" sounded like the same person. He called me Lee (I'm a woman and my name is not Lee) He proceeded to tell me the reason for my call, and when he finally stopped talking I began and he hung up. I think outsourcing customer service to the Philippines was a mistake, the agents have no respect for clients.
Lowest Customer Service
Almost every product I've purchased in the last 1.5 years from Amazon has died.
They no longer do anything for customer satisfaction, just give you a phone number to call the manufacturer for warrenty (3rd party seller) who never responds or answers their voice-mail or messages.
Amazon used to at least try to support customer retention, now they could care less. I've had to go through multiple agents to get this resolved. Purchased a dog grooming kit, it died after the 2nd use within 5 months and they can only offer a partial credit, had to finally escalate to a supervisor as the agents do nothing.
Amazon should back up the products they sell or stop allowing crappy 3rd party sub-par sellers to sell products on their platform. Posting a negative review does nothing as I still see the same sellers selling their lousy products (Oneisall dog grooming clippers) and sometimes the review gets removed.
Time to spend my money elsewhere.
Amazon refuses to recognize my payment method, No help available .
I changed my payment method to my checking account yet my payment didn't go through for prime membership. I assume I can no longer purchase on Amazon either. I keep getting messages that I need to update my payment method, but I already did.
I was unable to get a chat option after trying several times. Being.alone, elderly, hard of hearing, I don't do well at all with phone calls. Even worse, Amazon knows they have this exact same proplem with others. With chat all messed up and my having a pretty good idea they won't go to the trouble to respond to this as individuals are of little concern to them...I guess I'm out of luck... C'est la vie
Amazon Canada Customer Service is Garbage
I have gotten nothing but the run around by Amazon from the Edmonton Warehouse failing to deliver a parcel they have had in their possession since April 26th it has been rescheduled for delivery three times by Amazon and failed to be delivered and Customer Service refuses to refund the missing parcel which Amazon has in their possession in the Edmonton, AB warehouse. It is being reported to my credit card company for this gross incompetence as this is theft of money by Amazon of nearly $60 and failing to deliver a parcel within the promised delivery window. Telling me to wait for an investigation and 10 business days for them to figure out what happened is complete BS. And will be reported accordingly to the credit card company as fraud on the part of Amazon. Customer Service is absolutely useless. Garbage customer service.
I live in an apartment and landlord…
I live in an apartment and landlord will not fix my buzzer. Amazon tried to deliver and drove away without calling me...... dumb drivers should call before they leave. Morons
Fake reviews often manipulated by Amazon itself
Everybody knows that Amazon.ca reviews are often manipulated by the sellers, and Amazon does very little about it. This has gained the criticism of governments and nonprofit consumer groups alike. But what surprised me lately is that Amazon.ca itself seems to have changed its policy whereby any negative product review is rejected. I have been shopping at Amazon.ca for many years, and have submitted hundreds of honest reviews, some positive and some negative. They are always polite and moderately worded. Lately, I got sucked into buying several egregiously-counterfeit, misleading, and poor-quality products that were sold through Amazon.ca, and out of the four polite, moderate and honest reviews I submitted, three negative reviews were rejected, and only the one positive review was published. Two of the sellers short-shipped the order with only half of the product promised, and Amazon.ca even rejected those two reviews complaining of being short shipped, despite their clearly misleading description of quantity on the Amazon.ca site! My third letter complained that I got no response to my concern from the seller’s customer service department … is this an inappropriate or unfair criticism of a seller who is clearly scamming Amazon’s customers? The letter rejecting the reviews made a vague reference to “community standards“, but there was no reference to what community standards were allegedly violated, inappropriate, or irrelevant. My language is always moderate and tempered. The rejection email comes from a “no reply” email address. There is no appeal. There is no follow up. There is no further explanation. The link in the rejection email refers you to a page that gives NO explanation of “community standards” the customer has purportedly not met. It further invites you to the customer service hub for further review, but there is NO link or subject-heading to take up the matter of a rejected review. Amazon simply doesn’t want to know if it’s sellers are cheating their customers. It became very apparent to me that Amazon.ca has either changed staff who supervise reviews, or more likely, changed policies whereby the purpose of reviewing customer reviews is to censor-out poor reviews, and only promote positive ones. This has shaken my trust entirely in Amazon’s role, as they now appear to manipulate and cherry-pick their own customers’ honest reviews to sell more products. I have gone back into my account and deleted all the hundreds of reviews I have put in over the years because I will NOT participate in a corrupt system where reviews are meaningless, perpetuated by Amazon.ca itself. I strongly encourage anyone else who is disgusted by the lack of integrity in a crooked review system, to do the same. Even for Amazon.ca which already suffers a poor reputation, I am appalled at the corporate greed and high-handed manner customer reviews are being manipulated by Amazon.ca, and I will no longer submit any reviews or participate in this corrupt system of manipulating false reviews to sell more merchandise.
Been nothing but issues with Amazon…
Been nothing but issues with Amazon lately. Items being undeliverable when we were reordering and the first one came no issues. 5 day delays for extreme weather in the area when it's sunny, customer service changing delivery dates after I had already rescheduled to a day that I would be home to receive packages in an area prone to drug addicts and crime. Delivering used items when I paid for new then not following through with the compensation promises such as promotional credit and refunds for prime when 2 day deliveries turn into 10 day deliveries when I live in the heart of a big city and not a rural area. Delivering our packages to the wrong door. The list goes on. I've canceled my prime and will be shopping elsewhere even if it will cost a bit more. Will just have to make sure I'm buying enough supplies to qualify for free shipping. Not hard with 3D printer filament. I will no longer be shopping Amazon and will be discarding of our alexa. There are other similar devices that are not connected. I'm now on the boycott Amazon band wagon.
Charged me twice for same item and refunded on a GIFT CARD in a SNEAKY WAY
Shocking experience to say the least. Amazon has become a FRAUDULENT company. I never expected to see such a thing, but they charged me twice for an item even though I returned it the day after receiving it. They put one of the charges on a gift card without me accepting and they reversed the second charge to my credit card.
It was an exasperating ordeal via emails, chats and phone and no one can even tell me why I was charged twice and some reps only saw one charge. I was pulling my hair out each time I interacted with their customer service as they all had the same generic responses. Not listening to my concerns or perhaps just pretending because they knew exactly what happened, and not caring about the fact that I suspected a technical glitch on their website with the return. If only it was a glitch, but it is apparently done on purpose to fool the customers.
I am making an official complaint to the authorities about their sneaky practice.
Looking at some internet comments, it looks like they have done this before to other customers.
I think I'll just go back to finding what I need on different websites or shopping locally.
Not much to really complain about
I watch TV often through Amazon Prime. No complaints there.
I don't order packages often, but who can complain about free shipping, and overnight delivery (in Mississauga).
The one complaint I have (and it's a big one for me), is that even though my delivery instructions say to knock on door when delivering, deliveries are usually dropped at my front door in the hallway of an apartment building without knocking on the door. I'm waiting for the package, so a simple loud knock on my door would let me know that my package has arrived. Without the knock, my package could be sitting in the hallway for hours, just waiting for someone to steal it. That being said, I've not had any major problems since signing up a couple of years ago.
Amazon failed me, didn't deliver order after 10 months and cancelled just now!
Manufacturer and Amazon failed me, didn't deliver order after 10 months and cancelled just now! 7 months ago I called to either cancel or get the items as well, and the Amazon rep LIED to me saying they were getting the mufflers and resonators back in stock already so I should just wait.... and nothing. Destroyed my project and now increasing pricing for me as I could have gotten those parts in the order elsewhere nearly 11 months earlier! (now it's winter)
They are also blocking me from posting reviews about this on their website due to "community whatever"
suspend
AKS1MKFAIT0NS. I added my merchant token, I want to reactive my account. I demand a second review for my account. They didn't review the appeals.
Failure to follow delivery instructions
First I have proof to back-up the various negative experiences I've had with my Amazon orders. They give the customer the option of providing Delivery Instructions upon placing their order. Overwhelmingly, instructions haven't been followed since doing business with them over 10 years. Many of my orders that show 'Delivered' went missing. With the exception of 3 seperate orders (smart tv and computer peripherals 2023 & computer mouse 2024), ALL other orders were left in an unsecured area of the property, ignoring my delivery instructions. It's gotten so bad that an Amazon logistics rep has instructed me to email him after placing an order so their department can convey this to the seller and their delivering company. Sadly it's hit and miss and I've suffered injuries retrieving heavy deliveries on my own. Getting refunds and online credits do not make up for the multiple inconveniences they've caused. After my next two purchases I am cancelling my subscription to Amazon Prime/Movies and closing my account permanently. At the moment, I am looking into how I can file a formal complaint to an organization that advocates for customers. Amazon is not the only game in town with competitive prices.
No voice
Like other reviews here, they couldn't find my house... or that is the drivers story. A 5 year old could find my house. Lazy, no accountability, and a complete failure.
I have a complete lack of trust in Amazon from this day forward, and their customer service agents seem handcuffed, and only permitted to say "sorry". I feel bad for that department. They have no power to voice real customer issues, and no way of promoting change.
Me? I will cancel my Prime Membership, as I now know that Membership does nothing.
I'm happy so far
I had bad experiences with some purchases, but they always make it right at the end. I buy often and i'm happy with their services.
Poor delivery service
They still can't deliver properly even with specific instructions. How hard is it to ring a doorbell or knock on a door??
Delivery does do the minimum to protect against Porch Pirates
Delivery of packages are placed in plain view because drivers are in a hurry to get packages delivered. They just toss on top porch step and run. At least put it at side of door over a bit to be less in plain sight. It doesn't take much effort. They could try harder. In the US they take a picture of the delivered item and email you with the picture. They don't in Canada.
Totally disappointed
After being customer at Amazon for 12yrs I just wanted to change my phone number in the account and it was impossible, the customer service is very very bad and I will give up buying thinks from them.
I will not create an email address specially to deal with them!
It's to bad I can't give them 0 stars, I would do it!
Amazon a to Z guarantee, 7 days after 7;days no answer
After a month of several unsuccessful messages to Amazon.ca and Solarpowerstore, I received good news that I will be reimbursed on November 29. The moral of this story, it may be better to buy directly from Solarpowerstore, instead of Amazon. Here is my story: bought a Growatt 48 volt 3500 watt inverter from Solarpowerstore through Amazon.ca thinking of having a good warranty. After installing and testing, the inverter grounded my 4 lithium batteries, it is impossible to change the configuration. The company accepted the return and made me pay for the actual return. I returned the inverter in its original box after 2 days from the date of receipt of the inverter and paying almost $50 for postage. Now almost a month, no response from Solarpowerstore, I paid $1437 plus return postage, is this money completely lost? With With Amazon's A to Z guarantee, after 7 days of being able to have the answer, but still no answer, we can't do anything, the third party company doesn't respond either.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Amazon defends only its vendors. They do NOT care about their customers at all. Not like the old Amazon. It's an amateur show now.
