Terrible cusomer service
I placed order on 18th of December for item which is still shown on stock with only one option for delivery 3-4 businesses days. But status didn't change and it was"order received ". I wrote several emails and every time I received general message how they understand my frustration and they will personally look into it. Someone also promise me feedback few days later which of course never happen. To make things worse I received that item is out of stock (which wasn't) or that I should choose fast delivery which again there isn't such option. Then I received information that it will take 3 to 4 weeks, yes weeks(!), to prepare item for shipment which is sell and shipped by Amazon itself.
Can't wait to read here their another general responde which will be just another bs. Stay away from Amazon.de since they really don't know what they are doing. Horrible service.
Unfortunately their return are so bad…
Unfortunately their return are so bad that I rather shop in China as delivery more reliable and return easy
Amazon is preventing me from using my gift card balance.
Amazon.de is preventing me from placing orders with my gift card. I've verified my identity multiple times and contacted customer service, but they just mocked me. I can't make purchases with my gift card balance. If Amazon is confiscating our gift card balances and preventing purchases, why do they sell gift cards? I have €1530 on my gift card, but Amazon has been preventing me from making purchases for a year and isn't helping me. I've verified my identity repeatedly, and they haven't fixed the problem in a year.
DO NOT SHOP WITH AMAZON GIFT CARDS. I HAVE EXPERIENCED CONTINUOUS PROBLEMS FROM MARCH 2025 TO NOW.
EXAMPLE:

1 January 2026
Order # 304-3588058-1009117

Be carefull with Amazon.de
Bought an Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF on 11 December 2025 from Amazon.de, sold by Amazon EU S.à r.l., with an invoice showing a qualifying purchase for the Intel gaming software bundle that Amazon itself advertised and linked to Intel’s Software Advantage Program. Intel’s own terms say purchases until 31 January 2026 qualify and that Amazon must send a Master Key by email for eligible Amazon orders, yet weeks after shipment I never received any code or message in my account.
I have contacted Amazon.de support more than ten times, across multiple chats and emails, repeatedly providing my invoice PDF and Intel’s documentation, and even had a promotion ID for my order confirmed, but no one could or would actually provide the Master Key or a working way to redeem the promotion. After being bounced between agents, getting contradictory answers and even being told to just return the CPU instead of honoring the promo, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had, and I still do not have the game bundle that was clearly promised with my purchase
Amazon cannot deliver - unreliable service.
This is review on Amazon service and delivery - it is intended as a constructive criticism for other customers to avoid a bad experience and Amazon to see what went wrong and how badly they performed.
We bought and ordered a TV on black Friday - supposedly at a good price and easy delivery within a week. Spoiler alert - the TV never arrived. What is really striking is how the whole process took place and how Amazon could not deliver a TV, a product that is available, in stock and can easily be purchased with other companies.
After a week the TV was scheduled to arrive at our place- no one came. We simply got an update online that the delivery was rescheduled for the following week. However, that also did not work. So, we called customer service what is going on. Customer service is very friendly and tries to help. However, we called 4-5 times with them, and they were not able to solve the issue! What is even more striking, this is a high value item that requires someone to stay home and sign. So, we stayed home during the week just for this. How do you treat customers like this? Does Amazon have no interest in selling more expensive products?
Also, it turns out the customer service can only call the logistics center (in our case we ordered in the area Berlin/Brandenburg in Germany). My highlight: the workers in the logistics center just hung up on their own colleagues. So, in other words - they do not care whether they follow up on a contract. Wow! Long story short, after three weeks we requested our money back since it was clear that the item would not arrive.
So to summarize, if Amazon wants to really piss off their customers - we are prime members - if they want to make sure that they will never order a high value item from them, if they want to make sure one will not order any gifts that need to arrive in a short time, something I thought they were good at, well then this is exactly what they should keep doing. I think I might be able to use their services to order batteries for the remote of the TV we ended up buying in store. Took us half a day!
Customer service agent hung up on me…
Customer service agent hung up on me mid sentence. He was very snappy in his tone and said "Do I make myself clear !? Have a very good day!" And hung up. Unbelievable behavior from a grown man. I was calmly asking a follow up question regarding an item I was returning, but he refused to answer and just hung up the phone call. Avoid this website!
xtremely Disappointed – Orders Never Arrived
I’ve had a very unhappy experience with this company. I placed two orders since November 2025, both intended as gifts for family members.
The first order never arrived. I contacted customer service three times, explaining that the package was not trackable. Each time, they assured me everything was fine and asked me to wait. Eventually, the package never arrived, and they blamed the courier.
The second order was a New Year’s Eve gift. Unfortunately, the same story repeated: the package never arrived, and now I have to find another present at the last minute.
What’s worse, they do not notify customers that they cannot fulfill the order. Instead, they let you wait for weeks and then cancel the order and issue a refund. This is not professional and extremely frustrating.
Terrible shopping experience from Amazon and UPS
I ordered a Lego toy for my children and the estimated delivery date was 18 December. It's now 29th of December and the delivery is still pending, as they have updated their estimation for 31st of December. My kids were left without a Christmas present thanks to terrible service by Amazon and UPS which is their transfer partner. I hope my order arrives even delayed but of course the whole experience is awful and I'm never gonna buy again anything from them. I wish I had seen before all the negative reviews here before trusting Amazon as a big seller. Temu was cheaper , it proves more reliable too now. And then we are supposed to support the European economy. Get your pieces together first.
Gift Card Fraud
BEWARE of Amazon.de gift card fraud
11 December 2025: I returned an item (Ecovacs Deebot T30) . Amazon processed the return and issued a refund of €700.58 as an Amazon.de gift card.
13 December 2025: I used this gift card (plus my debit card) to place an order for a Mova Z60 Ultra. After four days without shipment, I canceled the order on 17 December, and the gift card balance of €700.58 was correctly restored.
17 December 2025: Later that day, I placed a new order for a Dreame Aqua. Shortly after, Amazon canceled this order and sent me an email stating that the gift card balance was voided due to a “violation of terms and conditions.”
As of now, my gift card balance shows €0, and despite multiple attempts to contact Amazon for clarification, I have received no explanation or resolution.
“BICYCLE THEMED WALL CLOCKS”
I checked Temu for “BICYCLE THEMED WALL CLOCKS”, showed me 30, all bicycle themed. Then I checked Amazon.de,
Maybe 5, showed me clocks with cars, motorcycles some with nothing.
Bye Amazon
Delayed delivery missed Xmas present
I ordered a time lapse camera for a Christmas present on 12th December. Item didn't move until 20th December, and has been sat in the final delivery warehouse since 22nd December, despite their initial claims of delivery within 3 days of despatch. Amazon's robotic chat help tells me my son will have to wait until 29th December to receive his Christmas present. Avoid, or if not, leave weeks for delivery at busy times
Amazon Business: two orders failed due to Amazon’s own verification process
This is the second time Amazon.de has failed to complete an Amazon Business order due to their own internal payment verification process, and the experience has been extremely frustrating.
My first order was placed on November 11 and failed because the card limit was reached. After that, I received an email stating that no action was required on my side and that the system would automatically retry the charge. Despite this, no further charge attempts were ever made, and the order eventually failed. Only after days of waiting and repeated insistence did support finally admit that the issue was on Amazon’s side.
For the second order, I deliberately selected SEPA as the payment method and also paid €75 for expedited delivery. The order was accepted, and an estimated delivery date of January 15 was confirmed. However, several days after the order was placed, Amazon suddenly claimed that the payment method was not acceptable and requested that I provide a bank statement not older than 7 days as proof of account ownership.
While the order was placed on hold for this verification, the stock was not reserved. By the time the payment method was changed and successfully authorized, the product was out of stock, leaving the order in an indefinite “we will email you” state with no delivery date.
This process is fundamentally broken:
SEPA was accepted at checkout, but verification was triggered only days later at the moment of charging
Orders are put on hold without reserving stock
Customers lose delivery priority despite paying for expedited delivery
Support provides no real help, repeatedly asks you to “wait a few more days,” and only admits mistakes after persistent pressure
As a business customer, this resulted in over six weeks of lost time, two failed orders, and zero resolution. On most major e-commerce platforms, payment verification is handled upfront and transparently. Here, the process feels inefficient, opaque, and careless.
This experience has left a very bitter impression and seriously discourages me from doing further business with Amazon.de.
Nightmare with Amazon.de
Nightmare!!! I ordered a MacBook Pro during the last Black Friday, together with few other items. The order was confirmed and I waited to receive the parcel in a reasonable time frame. I noticed that the money was not withdrawn from my card account, only blocked so I couldn't use it anymore. After 7 days of waiting, when tracking the parcel, I saw that it was send to the carrier and, consequently, the money was drawn from my account. But, in the same day I received a mail saying that the MacBook was sent back to Amazon (reason unknown !!) and I will be refunded. I wanted to give the MacBook as a present to my daugther, so I was obliged to buy from a different supplier, more expensive. The problem is that, since then (already one month) I'm still waiting to get my money back, and nothing happens. I called the Customer Service, they told me they need to check my identity, to avoid fraud (?!) and they sent me a link to an external company which should verify my identity. I did this checking, yet nothing happened, I was not reimbursed. I really don't know how to react and what to do, I couldn't imagine Amazon would do such things.
Amazon scammed me out of €500
Scammed 500 euro out of me.
Ordered a replacement 13900KS, got an "unopened", apparently sealed box with a 14100F cpu inside.
Spoke immediately to customer service on chat, they said they will stat an investigation. I believe it was a return from a previous buyer who swapped it out and amazon just put it back in rotation without checking.
I returned it to Amazon, they said they did not receive the correct item, and so I am out 500 euro.
Amazon needs to revise its return validation for sealed products. I will never use Amazon again, I got nothing back, no mention of any investigation, the support just said they will not speak any more on the matter.
This was from Amazon btw, not some other seller. If they cannot QC their own products they certainly cannot QC other sellers. Be extremely careful buys anything relatively expensive!
500 euro not worth it to take them to court unfortunately. Never using them again and recording every delivery over 100 euro I take from anyone online from now on.
Beware of Amazon Germany!
Beware of Amazon Germany!
I purchased a product that arrived defective, and I was promised a full refund. However, every time I contact them, they avoid responsibility, refuse to refund, and try to evade the issue. Their customer service relies on lying, manipulation, and even mocking customers.
I have all the necessary evidence to prove this. I strongly advise everyone to avoid dealing with Amazon Germany. Their practices are completely untrustworthy and unacceptable.
Order Cancelled and Forced Identity Verification – No Guest/Gift Option
My order was cancelled automatically for “unusual activity” even though it was legitimate. Amazon requires submitting a government ID to a third-party (Persona) to place new orders. There is no guest checkout or gift privacy.
Time-sensitive gifts were lost. Alternate accounts get flagged immediately due to shared payment or device data. The system prioritizes fraud prevention over actual customer needs, leaving no real recourse.
Rigid, opaque, and invasive, this is not acceptable for paying customers.
Fantastic chat support
I’ve had a specific incident with an item that didn’t match my needs. The return process got complicated, the delivery guy refused to pick it up and the great support team offered a full refund without returning it. It’s really based on trust.
Amazon Shopping is a mistake
Shopping on amazon in my opinion, has turned into a massive mistake. If you just order a few simple items, you need to keep working almost a few hours a day on their website and customer service chats, calls, and emails to prove the damaged delivery, chase your refund, chase the delivery, and prove the items received did not match the description. Very frustrating and not worth the time and mental toll at all. I prefer Otto instead which has excellent customer service and good shipment/return policies.
Delivery delays, careless attitude
Wishing to buy the gift for Christmas I have ordered the smartwatch with the indicated date of delivery: on 23rd of December. However on 22nd of December I received the notification that the order will arrive on 27th of December, i.e. only after Christmas.
I have contacted the customer support service with the relevant complaint, however they could only offer me 5€ gift certificate as a compensation for the inconvenience caused by the late delivery.
Due to the fact this was not the first time Amazon delays the delivery date indicated while making the order, I was totally upset and disappointed. All my arguments about the necessity of receiving the order before the Christmas (as it was supposed as a gift) were ignored. Also the customer support service ignored that if I was informed that the order will not arrive before Christmas I would order the item elsewhere.
So I wished all the Amazon representatives to receive only 5€ gift certificates for Christmas.
From this moment on I quit ordering on Amazon because they don't respect the delivery terms provided and also they don't care about the circumstances caused by late delivery. It seems they no longer care about their customer' interests.
I don't recommend to make any order on Amazon if you wish to get your item on time.
Amazon doesn't allow reviews if they…
Amazon doesn't allow reviews if they fail to deliver the item - ordered Cross Refills for my pen, it wasn't delivered. It says it was. I cant get a refund or complain or give a bad review.
Also, I've ordered items in Black Friday sale, they weren't delivered despite waiting for several weeks. Then they just removed it from my order history.
Customer service is non-existent. Terribly run company despite it's massive size.
