LIARS AND MISLEADING FAKE PRICES
I purchased Soundcare Q20i headphones for €27.99 on their Amazon store which were advertised as condition "Refurbished - Excellent". When I received them the ear cup was scratched, the headband had a white paint mark and the left speaker was not working, so I returned them the next day.
While waiting for a refund I noticed a brand new pair was for sale at €29.99, so I was going to buy them, but the next day the price increased to €39.99 apparently on sale from €49.99. A few days later and the price went down to €39.99.
Their prices are extremely misleading as they falsely claim they're on sale when in fact they increased the price.
I contacted customer support who twice stated they are willing to price match if the order was recent. When I asked for them to confirm exactly what they're price matching (new or refurb), I was told "we regret to inform you that we are not currently offering any promotions or discounts. The price displayed on our website is the lowest price we can offer".
So Anker are selling the headphones for €49.99 and unable to offer them for €29.99 which they were selling them for a few days ago, yet a reseller on AliExpress in Germany is able to sell them for €29.89.
I've been a loyal Anker customer for around 10 years and this is how they treat me. Absolutely disgusting.
Zero Stars: Product and Support Both Failed
First of all, I received a damaged item. On top of that, I was sent the wrong item entirely.
Even though I paid extra for the worry-free purchase that was supposed to cover exactly these kinds of issues, it ended up causing more frustration than if I hadn’t bought it at all.
I would give 0 stars for the product and negative stars for customer support.
As someone who has been a customer for 5 years, this experience is extremely disappointing. It honestly makes me reconsider staying loyal when there are other companies that offer better support—and possibly better products as well.

Anker Nano Car Charger (167.5W, 3 Ports). I purchased it after comparing a similar range and carefully evaluating the Pros and Cons. After placing the order, it arrived within the time limit, and I checked the actual performance. I have a 200W USB-C cable that I've used with a charger, and it truly charges your Mobile Device in a car like a high-performance charger. Charging is very fast, and I have not seen any issues so far. If all 3 ports are used, then it still charges really fast. You can buy it without any second thought.

Issues with Legacy hardware
I was super excited to get this charger with all of the new features and the little screen. But first of all, the App to use it, if you do not allow the track-everything, it would not work, so it needs to exploit your privacy for a product that was paid for and must not be a requirement. Secondly, it does not charge my iPhone 14 pro max. It does a great job with the Samsung 25 ultra, but I was getting that with my already purchased Samsung charger which was a fraction of the Anker cost. Highly disappointed!!

Over the past decade I've purchased various cables, chargers, power banks etc... Replacements needed only ever due to situations like going from Apple lightning to USB-C, loosing items or changing requirements such as needing to power a new laptop from a cigerette socket.
Whatever the need to do with tech and power Anker is the answer.

Website easy to use, products labeled well and easy to understand. Product lasts a good few years, just had to replace my old cord that I have had since 2020. I have noticed some minor heat on the cord when charging for this new cord but nothing concerningly so. Has more that enough capacity for fast charging a phone. Delivery was a bit slow, it arrived a few days later that it said it would. But it was free delivery so I can't complain much. Overall 8/10.

Broken product, Ai customer service
Received an Anker cable as a gift. Opened it for the first time and it was already broken. The connector was completely detached.
Sent photos as proof. Customer support replied with irrelevant troubleshooting steps, then refused to help because I don’t have a receipt.
The whole exchange felt automated and copy pasted with AI, no one actually looked at the case.
A product that arrives broken and a support team(which is AI) that hides behind policy. Very disappointing.

Soundcore warranty replacement absolute saga
I bought R50i NC noise cancelling earbuds from Currys. They were very fuzzy/staticky at very low volumes (I listen to podcasts to fall asleep). I went on the Soundcore app chat function, and after some troubleshooting ended up in an email conversation where we agreed I would send the earbuds back for replacement.
The replacement came and it was a cheaper, not noise cancelling version (P20). They kept arguing with me over email that this was the same as I originally bought despite my providing evidence to the contrary. They only email during the middle of the night my time so the argument took multiple days. I had to escalate to their complaints team who did finally agree and send me the correct replacement (P30). They are also fuzzy at low volumes. I had had enough of dealing with them by then so just kept them for daytime use. I wish I had just returned them to Currys originally. I can't do that now as the replacement is a different but identical product. They are otherwise good with good noise cancelling.
