A little disappointed at first
I was disappointed that my order was taken and I wasn't aware that AO were awaiting more stock. Therefore rather than next day delivery I had to wait 3 days. It would have been helpful to have been told this at time of order.
Once they had more stock delivery was fine - although by DPD!!

Poor communication around delivery
Ordered a laptop with an expected delivery date of 5 days after I placed the order. I was told to expect a message from DPD the night before/the morning of the delivery date, providing a one hour time slot that the delivery would take place. That message never arrived.
On the day of the expected delivery date, I received no communication from AO or DPD about problems with the delivery itself. The AO website continued to state my delivery was coming on this day, but they couldn't provide any DPD tracking information.
I decided to call AO's customer support phone number in the afternoon after it became clear it wasn't arriving. I was eventually told there was no stock available for the laptop I'd ordered. It obviously raises questions about why I was able to place an order for a laptop that wasn't in stock, and why it was still be advertised as in stock on their website.
I was asked if I was happy with waiting a further 3 days for more stock to come in, and then for a follow up delivery to be organised for the day after that (with no guarantees that more stock would arrive). I didn't have an option, so accepted the new delivery date, but I was unhappy that they'd taken payment for a laptop that they couldn't deliver.
To my surprise, the laptop I'd ordered turned up the day after my phone call with customer support (one day after the original delivery date). I was pleased to receive it, but it raises more questions about why I was told there was no stock available over the phone. It could have been an honest mistake by the person I spoke to on the phone, but it does not paint a great picture for AO's organisation and the service they provide.

I'd also like to apologise that our agent advised you the item you'd purchased was out of stock, only for it to arrive the following day. Really pleased with my experience with AO. The delivery service was great and I liked how they kept me updated throughout the whole process, right up until my order arrived. It was really helpful knowing when to expect it, and everything went smoothly on the day. The delivery guys were friendly and polite too. Overall, a really easy and stress-free experience. I’d definitely use AO again.

Great Service
Two very nice delivery guys, fitted a new washing machine for me, very efficient. And the next day I got a small refund because there was no old machine to take away, Excellent service on the phone with the agent who was a very nice man as well. this is the third time I have used ao.com and will use them in the future as I am very happy with the great service they give.
