Cheap Deals Via Momondo

Came across this company whilst booking for flights to US on Momondo. They had the cheapest deal. Booked with them got instant confirmation. Am a frequent flyer with United , so quickly logged in & voila my flights showed up all confirmed. There was a change in the times by the airline , surprisingly Apple Flights did send me a notification. Would definitely book with them again.

Review Apple Flights - Positive

Just thought that to share a feedback on my experience.

Got them via Cheapflights for flights to USA with my family.

For hotels I booked Via Expedia.

It was a discounted fare compared to the airline website directly.

Booked thru them prices were live surprisingly.

Once booked got an acknowledgment email & in a few minutes a confirmation email with ticket numbers.

I logged on to the airline website to see if they had the confirmation & yes they did.

To double check I rang the airlines & they confirmed the tickets were paid for & were confirmed.

I was able to do an online check in .

I am back from my trip with my family & all went well.

I will definitely recommend them & give them a try next time .

They come across to be a reliable OTA.

Only drawback was that the emails were going into Junk folder for some weird reason.

HORRIBLE! Avoid at ALL COSTS!

No matter how much money you think you’ll be saving, AVOID THIS HORRENDOUS AGENCY at all costs because you MAY NOT EVEN GET A TICKET. If I hadn’t been extremely diligent and on top of this booking my husband WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN ON THE FLIGHT that we paid almost £1,100 for and was extremely important for our family. First, the booking process is far from simple. I had to go through 3 attempts and multiple calls to even get the ticket payment to process and then they required I send a photo of the credit card and passport (?) and all dealing with an extremely rude and gruff “manager". Finally when I got a confirmation number I thought we were ready to fly. NOPE. That evening I logged on to assign his seats and was unable to find it in the airline's system. I called the airline and they confirmed that an “image” had been created but there was NO BOOKING and NO TICKET. They confirmed that had my husband showed up for this flight, he would have had no booking and would have been turned away. I emailed the same man that claimed to be a “manager” and called Apple Flights (no answer but after about 5 tries got someone finally) and they insisted that the booking was fine because they could “see it in their system”. I literally had to convince them that there was an issue. Finally they conceded after calling the airline and said they’d deal with the issue after the weekend. Monday comes and I follow up, they state that they have worked out the problem and I got another confirmation email. I could finally log on and book seats so think the problem is over. NOT BY A LONG SHOT! 24 hours before the flight I go online to try to check my husband in and get an error that the ticket is "not validated"! I call the airline to find out what’s wrong and they tell me that there again NO TICKET. They said that the agency (Apple Flights) has not paid them, there is no ticket issued and my husband would not be able to travel. They tell me there is nothing they can do and that I have to deal with the agency. I’m beyond frustrated with dealing with this company at this point and call them again. Takes me SIX TRIES to get someone to answer the phone (sounds like someone is picking up and hanging up). Finally someone answers and I explain the situation. The lady is frustrated at ME for being a bit anxious. I explained to her that husband’s job depends on this and I’m pregnant so sorry if I’m stressed, but this needs to be handled. She continues to not believe there is an issue and keeps telling me to calm down (yes, I was upset, but not overly so in the slightest) and that she can "see the booking" and the "ticket is in their system" and her one and only solution is to simply read me the ticket number (as if that matters and I should ignore that the airline told me that it didn't exist). Again, I literally have to convince her by begging her to call the airline and check. Finally she agrees and puts me on hold and I’m assuming asks someone to look into it. Sure enough, she comes back and tells me that I was correct and there was a “GLITCH” between their system and the airline’s system and she’d call me back. I never receive a call but some time later I receive an email from the same “manager” at Apple Flights stating that the issue was sorted, but we couldn’t check in because of the travel restrictions within the US so my husband should arrive early and have all his documents/visa info. I called the airline and verified that we now FINALLY had a ticket. but they said it was untrue about the travel restrictions (he’s not from a country on the list and he’s flying from the UK). A short time later I received another email from Apple stating we could check in. I TRUST NOTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE COMPLETELY SHADY, UNPROFESSIONAL, DOWNRIGHT RUDE AND ARE RUNNING A SHODDY SERVICE. I shudder at the thought of what would have happened if I hadn’t tried to check him in or had ignored the alert when trying and hadn’t called the airline. According to Delta, he would have showed up, not gotten on his flight and our family would have been in major distress. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I wish I had read a review before booking, but there were none at the time and I took a chance. NOT WORTH IT!!

Reply from Appleflights

Dear Apple Flights customer,

Firstly we would like to apologies for any inconvenience with the process of your flight booking while using Appleflights.co.uk. We take all complaints seriously and have been investigating this matter since the time of your booking. We have recently had a response from the airline confirming it was problem with their own system. Unfortunately your booking had been duplicated and then automatically cancelled by the airline. We hope you can appreciate that our team were simply trying to help you as much as possible considering we were relaying on the airline system that caused this problem in the first place. We have been trying to contact you and left messages. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like us to share the airlines correspondence, confirming what had happened with your booking.

We hope your husband had a pleasant flight back and that your pregnancy is going well.

We wish you all the best,
Apple Flights
