Ordering was easy and prices competitive. Delivery and customer care to rectify the issue was severely lacking. Ordered a hoover and picked a delivery day, item was eventually delivered over a week later than expected. The issue was with Parcel Force but Appliance City choose their couriers and when you speak to customer service there was no empathy or urgency to resolve the issue.

absolutely top marks for communication and customer service I purchased this appliance 8 weeks before I wanted delivery as refurbishing my kitchen absolutely no problem was delivered on the specified date wit emails 2 days before and 1 day before to confirm delivery and on day of delivery as well with a time slot

The price of the washing machine was very competitive. The ordering system was clear and delivery, to a rural part of Wales, was efficient (with the delivery team contacting us to apologise for a traffic related delay).

Having never used an online electrical retailer before I was a little apprehensive but Appliance City were excellent. The Range master cooker I wanted was a good price and Mike who I dealt with on the phone was most helpful in answering all my questions. I was given a delivery date and was kept up to date by text on the delivery schedule and Carl and Dave of the delivery team arrived within 2 minutes of the delivery time. I will certainly use this firm again .

Fast delivery and excellent customer service throughout. The delivery team was friendly, professional, and made the whole process smooth.

The only disappointment was that, although the fridge is marketed as being smart-enabled, we discovered that an additional SmartDeviceBox has to be purchased separately to access the smart features. This wasn’t made clear at the time of purchase, so it would have been helpful if this had been clearly advertised upfront.

Flawless transaction from placing order to delivery

Good service, quick delivery and good communication with delivery too. I had to phone as I had a question and the person I spoke to was also lovely. Highly recommended.

Had 4 different delivery dates. I was tempted to cancel the order but as I had been without a washing machine for over a week from ordering, I had to think twice about cancelling. The delivery men appeared to fumble about getting one washer in and the other one out as they didn't think about it before they started. I had to prompt on installation to use my existing long water connection pipe to get it connected as the pipe that came with the washing machine was short. The installer then turned on the machine to make sure it was working. He failed to wait for the machine to drain, which ,to me is a part d. of testing the machine. Fortunately it was ok. I asked the installer level up the machine as it was rocking. He said he couldn't do that as it would mean him having to disconnect everything. I suggested to him that the machine just needed moving back slightly to level it, which he did. You need to make sure that the installer is trained to carry out the task. Overall, an average service

I have today 22nd July received a phone call from appliance city to discuss the problems I had. The person I spoke to was extremely nice and he couldn't apologise enough for the poor service. He is going to address the complaint with the 3rd party who delivered and fitted the machine to ensure this doesn't continue to happen. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome of the conversation. At least , I know the problem will be addressed. Thank you to Appliance City for responding to my review
