Sadly the company is impossible to contact. I ordered two black ceiling light fixtures (and 3 other cream ones). The black fixtures were scuffed, paint showing the silver. They looked really untid... See more

Sorry you feel that way. It's real Bakelite and we have sold tens of thousdands of these with this being the first and only negative feedback on the product. You left the feedback on the service feedback not product review section. The service you got was our normal exceptional service with free same day shipping and next day delivery. Had you contacted us we would have resolved your issue but unfortunately you didnt.
Prompt delivery
Prompt delivery. Used the adaptors to extend existing light fitting in the kitchen without having to muck about with the electrics. Simplified the whole process

Great Item
Bought this plug connector and it's brilliant. Let's me plug my low vaultage device into where my bulb would go. An old fashioned idea but works great.

Thank you Claire.
Good quality and kind replacement
The Emporium kindly replaced a double socket that arrived with a corner snapped off: no questions, no arguments, the replacement arrived only a day later. Splendid service. I’ve been buying these Brown Bakelite electrics for years now and they really add a discreet functional charm to a period decoration.

Had a great experience
Had a great experience with what was advertised. Now have 1930s lampshades hanging from ceilings with suitable flex and 'bakelite' fittings that look good. Goodbye white flex and white plastic 1980s ceiling roses.
