Always love ascot
Always love ascot. And always attend opening day in the royal enclosure. However - the crowd is getting worse and worse, certainly in the grandstand. Lots of drunk thugs looking for fights. It ruins what is a British institution and one of the highlights of the summer calendar

Beware their Winning Post Enclosure
Beware their Winning Post Enclosure. Went to Shergar cup and paid a premium price to go in Winning Post enclosure. Their photo of the enclosure showed new tables and chairs with nice canopies set in an enclosed area of lush grass. It looked really upmarket. In reality, we were pushed to the far end of the course with weathered table and chairs, no canopies and on weathered old astroturf. Ascot even had the nerve to ask us to wear jacket and tie in this second rate enclosure. The photograph was totally misleading. Bars in the enclosure only opened half way through the afternoon. It totally tainted my birthday with friends and family. Avoid or check out first. Unsatisfactory resolution with customer service for disappointing day.

What a rip off so disappointing
EQUUS bar. Jug of pimms £37.50 perfect but SO MUCH ICE 3 huge scoops filled at least half the jug but bought separately it’s £12.50 a glass. !!!!!! Asked for a less ice manager came over and we were told - that’s what pimms have told us to do !!!!!!! Ummmmmmmmm!!!!!
