Definitely not luxury and no quality control processes in place

We used Asia Transpacific for a trip to China and Philippines. The overall service was horrible. Most of the guides were terrible and although we were on a custom private tour, the guides took us the tourist traps where large buses of tourists show up, they try to sell you a bunch of stuff and serve food prepared in volume without taste. Some of the hotels were horrible (dirty floors, rooms smelled bad) and it was supposed to be 4 star or better. In addition, some of the guides spoke poor english and were very new to their job (guides are screened by the top notch agencies). Some of the activities we were promised were a hoax (dinner with a local family meant going to a place where family rents out tents for the day and they have someone on staff who cooks the food but there is no interaction with the family). I would not recommend using this agency to book any kind of travel.
