Damaged luggage
I came home from Crete with a broken suitcase. I opened a case and got a quick response. On 19.9.2025 I received confirmation of the case from customer service with a message that I would receive compensation for the suitcase. Today, 4.11.2025, I have not seen any money yet and every time I send a reminder I just get a message that they will sent a reminder to their accounting department. This is such poor customer service, and if I could give 0 stars I would.
Poor service
My flight to Faroe was cancelled. Customer service is very poor and no email is being answered. I sent at least 8 so far. By phone, they sent me towards Hahn Air who can't do anything for me.
Be very careful. At the airport, I've been told that 75% of flights towards Faroe (and Groenland) are either delayed or canceled. Weather is to blame but also Atlantic's service.

Lost luggage
I flew with Atlantic Airlines to visit the Faroe Islands from Paris. Unfortunately, they lost my luggage, and I spent almost a week without winter clothes. I received very limited information about my luggage, and after a couple of days, they informed me that they had forgotten it in Paris and would arrange for delivery. Despite making multiple calls, sending emails, and driving to the airport, my experience was ruined. During our communication, they mentioned they had a large stack of files concerning lost luggage.
Finally, after eight days, they returned my luggage, but the damage was done. My vacation was ruined, and I incurred extra expenses for clothes and personal items. Additionally, not having my medicine put me in a difficult situation.

Constant delays and cancellations, have to find your own accommodation when they cancel your flight as they can't be bothered.
No customer service on weekends, and if you need reimbursement, be prepared to wait about 6 months to get any money back.
How they are allowed to run is beyond me, shocking!!

Rip off airline
They are advertising cheap tickets, but you end up paying extra for everything. Carry on baggage, food, drink, blanket etc. At the end I ended up paying more then ever. I don’t recommend this airline. I will never use them again.

If I knew then what I know now, I would never booked with Norse atlantic. They take forever to answer emails. They are rude and disrespectful, and don't take accountability for their actions.
We booked a flight from London to Kingston Jamaica and they changed the destination to montego bay without informing us. When we confronted them they took forever to reply and take no accountability for their action.
This was very frustrating, montego bay is 106miles away from Kingston, so we had to pay a taxi that was very costly.
We also had to pay for a taxi again on the way back home. On The way home we waited 3hrs in the queue just to check in. I will never use this airline again. A WARNING TO FUTURE FLYERS PLEASE CHECK REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING A DECISION TO FLY WITH WITH NORSE AIRLINES.

Helicopter Sightseeing Flight Faroe Islands
On the 12th June I took this flight and found myself sitting in the middle seat (no window) with my back to the cockpit. On this row of 3 seats both windows are small ones rather than the large ones on other rows.
The helicopter was full with 12 passengers. Due to both passengers at either side of me completely blocking the two side windows and as I had my back to the cockpit so couldn't even see through the front window, I was unable to take in the views or take any photographs. This particularly seat must be the worse seat for a sightseeing passenger to find themselves in.
In view of this I complained to Atlantic Airways and as I was unable to see anything or take photographs asked for a refund. As the purpose of the flight was sightseeing, for me the flight did not meet that objective; it was a waste of money and time.
After sending 4 emails I finally got a reply from a Kristina Fossaberg, saying the sightseeing flight took 12 people with no guarantee of a window seat and therefore my complain had not been upheld and my request for a refund had been rejected.
No apology or any understanding of my negative experience.
Perhaps I didn't expect a full refund but a partial one was surely justified.
They must know that anyone sitting in the seat that I was in with 11 other passengers on board, would not be able to see or take photographs; i.e. have the same experience as other passengers by a window or facing the cockpit.
I write this review so that others can be aware that going on a sightseeing helicopter flight over the Faroe Islands may mean you see nothing and waste a considerable amount of money.
Soooo many extra fees and charges that it's sickening

You get no luggage included, and there's 3 different prices for wight 5kg-15kg-25kg. And With all the basic add ons like luggage and food for 12h flight, it ends up costing more than the offers already available from other airlines. Which gives the sence of them trying to fool me with low original precis that you will never buy them for. Very bad marketing choice on their part and won't work for these long flights.
I was ready to use and support Norse for the 3-4 times I fly to Thailand a year, but all their sneaky add ons really pushed me away, and I will unfortunately continue with Emirates or Qatar while they have all these extra charges.

Returned from holiday with Norse. The suitcase was broken. We made a claim and report with photos at the airport straight away at the Norse baggage claim desk. The lady at the desk was very helpful. After one week the company contacted us asking for more information. We have filled out the forms they asked for, including the suitcase receipt. We paid £50 last year for it. We have sent all documents, filled in all forms they asked for, and the bank details they wanted. All of them were checked twice, and all were correct.
3 months later no reply, no refund, no explanation.
Probably they rely on the small amount of claim (£50) and hope people will forget after time.
Bad reputation.
Bad organisation.
Bad communication.
Really sad.
We feel helpless after all.

Unreliable airline who steals money from honest people
Back in 2020, I had to cancel my summer flight due to the pandemic as the country was mostly closed and I was requested by my accommodation to cancel. I got a voucher which I could only use in 2022 or 2023 if I had wanted to. However, my dog is now 14 years old and could die any day and I did not want to book this year or risk for next year by paying more (as the voucher no longer covers the costs 2 years ago) and asked a compensation which was not given. So I lost roughly €700 for something which was not caused by me. Totally unfair and I have to say that Atlantic Airways stole me. Shame on them!!!
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I tried to find out what the cancellation fee was, but instead the flight got cancelled. Raised a support ticket, but they closed it out. Once you click on the cancel button, you're just f**d, no pre-confirmation page.

Wasted money during pandemic
Got Atlantic Airways flight ticket by travel agent.
During pandemic in July it wasn't possible to use it, because borders was closed. But flight between Iceland and Faroe Islands wasn't cancelled.
Atlantic Airways offered voucher or change the date on the site, but it's useless if you booked flight via agent. So I just wasted money and nobody returned nothing:
Atlantic Airways sent me to agent, agent sent me to Atlantic Airways.
They're nice to talk to

So, I asked for a voucher due to the canceled flights and nothing happened for weeks. Then I called them and finally received a voucher. Waited 45 min. before reaching them.
The voucher didn't work... So I had to call them again. Waited 40 min. before reaching them. Girl in the phone said, oh, that's because the vouchers don't work on our website... Then I ordered my ticked from her. She then gave me the price, deducted the voucher and then billed me.... The full amount...
Now I've been waiting in line for 1h and 10min. as number 1 in queue with no one picking up... and they're still open for another hour
