On Point Customer Service!
Found this place doing an online search for Gozney products, and thought I would pop in and have a look around. When I arrived, there was a Kamado Joe / Smoking Elk cook school on, and as you would expect some of the showroom was closed off. I did manage to see and touch the vast range of Kamado Joe's to see what they were like whilst getting what I came for. They guys were 'on point' with their knowledge, and expertise of the Gozney range, as well as the Kamado Joe range and accessories.
Popped back up some weeks later and obtained a Kamado Joe Classic 3 and took it home and assembled it. Popped back in again a week or so later and purchased the Paella and Griddle pan.
For some reason the griddle pan didn't fit, I sent some images to let them see and also took it back and explained the situation. The griddle itself fitted on other Classic 3's so the issue was with mine. I was advised they would go through the proper channels of warranty and would get back in touch on the outcome. As expected I was passed to the Kamado Joe warranty team, and that's where the problems began, (have a look at the review I left for Kamado Joe). I was back at Auldton Stoves picking up accessories for a weekend cook and was asked about my issue. Bearing in mind, Auldton Stoves need to follow the guidelines set out by Kamado Joe, so my issue is not with Auldton Stoves, but with Kamado Joe. However, Mark and Ed had a brief discussion with each other and advised they would resolve the issue with a phone call, and report back in a couple of hours.
T/c received on Friday afternoon and advised a replacement would be delivered on Tuesday. This is what Kamado Joe should have done in the first place rather than the back and forth email chain I got absorbed into.
Mark, Ed, and the team are on point with their approach to issues with the equipment they sell, they kinda take it personal, in a way that, if its not good enough for our customers then its not good enough for us and we will sort it. that's the kind of customer service you get. I wasn't expecting to receive a replacement, Auldton did what Kamado Joe should have done in the first place, and because of what they did, they have a customer for life (like it or not guys 😂), and any friends or family looking to purchase outdoor cooking equipment/accessories, or stoves, Auldton Stoves will always be my first recommendation.
