After renewing my contract, a service (Amazon Prime) was simply canceled despite assurances from customer service. It wasn't until three weeks later that they admitted it and promised to call me back once things were sorted out. That was two weeks ago. I really feel bad for the customer service reps—they're the ones least to blame for their crappy management.

Completely incompetent
Completely incompetent! For the past few months, we've been without internet access almost daily. They don't respond to phone calls. Their office in Pulpi is a completely disinterested woman who doesn't help us and simply sends us away. We're looking for another solution and leaving!

Avatel Calahonda ( mijas costa) lie about the Internet speed that I pay for. Weekly I go intro their office ( luckily at the same time that I shop in Carrefour next door ) because my contracted speed of 1000Mb drops back to 100Mb unless I go into the office to complain. Funnily, it rises back to 1000Mb for a few days after visiting their office .. then it "drops( gets put back at 100Mb )". several times they try to blame my computer which highlights their unprofessional conduct. its very clear that they are decieving customers with intenet speeds that they cannot maintain. The attitude in the office is basically " we dont give a flying hoot anymore"
Very good experience
I would just like to say I had a very good experience with the Alfaz de pi store, I don’t speak Spanish and the young lady Lorena who helped me didn’t speak much English but with the help of google translate she went way beyond the call of duty, to sort out the problem with my mothers account. 10 out of 10 for customer service.
Lost Internet connection.
I had occasion to ring Avatel because we had lost our connection. I rang the Pego Office and spoke to a lovely young man. I explained our problem and he had us reconnected in no time! Thank you so much!

Very poor customer service and poor service on internet and phone, being honest is just getting worse.
My wifi calling stopped and error stated that I need to call Orange to enable but I am with Avatel.
Called them they were so vague on the phone, then the handler admitted that they made some changes and this affected it clients accounts and services etc. When broadband goes down there is no updates on their site or phone, they normally do not answer during those times. I logged case on their website about my router as could not get through the phone and they called me about 4 months later, they are joke!

We changed our contract from 600mb to 1000mb on 3rd January and said we didn’t want to pay any extra for the change and this was agreed. We live in London so need to use the on/off
system and we’ve been rejected twice because the Avatel employee in San Pedro near Estepona changed our contract. I have been cut off twice speaking to the main office and have got nowhere except to find that there is now a charge for this. Almost 40euros and then 4.99euros for each on/off request. I have got nowhere except that we’ll have to pay for the whole year. May well leave Avatel. Very annoyed through no fault of our own.

has been trying to call Avatel torrevieja line, but they either dropped my calls or letting me wait for very long time with nobody even taking my call. When they is someone taking my calls, they told me they can't speak english. I feels very frustrated very time I am trying to call them. Dreadfull service!!
We are now with Avatel after being taken over from Teletec, and our Wi Fi has been off now for 5 days, their excuse major incident in our area of Calpe, yesturday someone from Avatel informed us that it has now been completed. However we still have NO internet ? and nohhing from Avatel when we will be back on line!!!!

It seems Avatel has not understood that we are living in the 21st century and a lot of people work from home!!!! NO technician available only excuses and excuses… BUT they want to increase the monthly rate!!!

exteremly slow download speeds and constant lag
i have used avatel for many months now and i have to say that it is the worst wifi providor i have ever used. i have had downloads as slow as 5mbs and severe delay whilst trying to open apps in my computer please do not buy their services it is a waste of your money.
Very disappointing service and follow-up
On Saturday 27/12/2025, we suddenly lost all internet and WiFi service. That same morning at 9:00 AM, we contacted Avatel. We were told we would be called back to schedule an intervention.
That call only came two days later, on Monday 29/12/2025. During that conversation, we had to answer the exact same questions again and were once more told that we would be called back for further follow-up.
Today, one full week later, there has still been no solution and no concrete follow-up. We have also sent two emails to Avatel in the meantime, without receiving any response.
The lack of follow-up and responsibility is extremely frustrating.
Fortunately, this is not our main residence, because otherwise you are simply left without internet, without information, and without any perspective.
We sincerely hope that this issue will finally be taken seriously and resolved, but unfortunately this experience has left us with a very negative impression.

My mother lost her husband back in February and they decided on 4th December to start taking the monthly direct debit from a blocked account. As advised by them, we've paid them the outstanding balance plus an unpaid charge by debit card and sent them an email explaining what they've done and to reconnect her. The result is that she has had no phone service or internet over the whole Christmas period. There is nothing more we can do but wait for them to remove the suspension. She is elderly and very vulnerable.
UPDATE: I managed to get through on the phone to Cassandra and she raised it with the technical team. Antonio contacted me to arrange an appointment & Alan the technician came today and sorted her
router out and its fine now. Thank you for all

Indignada con el servicio Avatel Roquetas y su gestión es NULA , me habéis cortado el suministro con la factura pagada por adelantado, con un perjuicio laboral enorme y encima tener que peregrinar para que me hagan la reconexión, totalmente una vergüenza!
