Change the registration on my car which was a one letter change, rang my insurance which is Aviva only expecting an admin fee which is understandable. But doing this somehow doubled the insurance over £1000. Yet tried to talk to them over the phone and they said they couldn’t understand why it doubled and blaming it on an IT error, they said they would ring me back within 24 hours. Just under 2 weeks later still waiting so had to ring them back. Apparently it will be sorted by the time my direct debit is due ,

£47 just to cancel – very disappointing
I’ve just cancelled my Aviva Zero car insurance and was charged £47 simply for cancelling the policy. I appreciate there may be cancellation terms in the small print, but £47 feels excessive for what should be a straightforward administrative process. Simply put, neither I or any of my family will ever use Aviva again.
