Aylings Garden Centre and Tearoom is a friendly family business situated on the A272 between Midhurst and Trotton. Our charming tearooms have proven to be a delightful place to enjoy an afternoon tea. Geroge Ayling founded Aylings in 1934, he bought 3-acres of land for £300. It took him 4 years to pay off the loan. George, his brother Wilfred and son Anthony ran the business until 1999, when it was sold. It has changed hands a couple times since but since 2017 it was sold to us. With the excellent support of our hard-working employees Aylings has continued to grow. We are able to explore a wider range of quality products such as garden furniture, gifts and cards, we even have locally sourced products from independent creators.

Poor customer service and delivery
Delivery was not processed until the Wednesday when order went in previous Friday. Item only just arrived for arranged party. Caller for the delivery showed poor customer service when I was shocked that the item hadn’t even been processed yet. Would not use company again.

Hi Elizabeth, I think this is an extremely unfair review! Let me explain. You purchased the set @ Friday 27th July... we advise all customer we offer 3-7 "Working" Day delivery... We attempted to call you on Monday 30th July 10:43AM to arrange delivery ( No Answer ) we reschedule the call for Wednesday 31st July 9:21AM which you answered then stating you were expecting the set that day? with no notification of any delivery? So we schedule it together for Friday 2nd August ( 5 Working days ) which you received. So I don't understand where along those lines we were "Poor" I hate to leave on a sour note, I would like to think you would take these points on board and revisit your review and amend where you see fit. As we take pride in our service and reviews.

Pretty disorganised delivery many notifications about somebody having the parcel and even saying what time they were going to arrive , eventually turned up about 10 days after order , The package looked as if someone had kicked it around for a while then flung it into a pond , one corner of the box was soaking wet which had seeped through to the box inside , by some miracle the stuff in the box was ok
