I use this on my conference calls and I am always getting compliments on it. I love that it hides the mess behind me and gives a pop of color to my meetings. Everyone keeps asking if it’s real brick. Up close you can totally tell it’s fake but over a zoom call it looks real.
I tried to cancel my order almost immediately after placing it. They waited awhile and responded with: "Hi. Thank you very much for purchasing..." which I replied for the second time that I wanted to cancel it. They stated they already handed over to be shipped. That was suspiciously fast to do after just placing an order. I really wish I used PayPal so I could open a case for this BS. I disputed the charge with my credit card company.
I'm skeptical of the positive reviews from "Niky Xiao" which match BackDropStyle's "XiaoXiaolia" charge on my card. They are all left from the same account which only have 3 reviews all for this company's website saying that it is good: 11/23/18, 7/15/19, & 2/12/21. (Since originally posting this, the reviews have been removed either from the original poster which was probably an employee OR TrustPilot saw the fake posts & deleted them). Now I've noticed a positive review after my review to most likely offset it. Don't be fooled!
UPDATE: It came in the mail. It smells awful, it's folded/creased & the resolution is horrible. It reminds me of a plastic table cover from the Dollar Store & that's giving it too much credit!
Ordered, paid through paypal, never received a confirmation or anything.
Sent their site an email asking for a confirmation about a week in, still nothing, no response.
Poor quality image, not what it looked like on site. The company expects for me to pay the return cost of the item in which to receive a refund despite sending photographs to show the item is poor. Not a great experience.
