A refund from Temu was issued to my Barclaycard account . Temu published confirmation of the refund and an acquirer ref number giving the date by which I should get the refund released by Barclaycard . That date has now passed . There is no phone number for Barclaycard , they suggest an online chat , which currently isn't working . I could go into branch if they hadn't closed it .
So Barclaycard are incommunicado, great , what a way to run a business .
In the meantime hang on to my credited money .

Barclaycard has been excellent when dealing with an issue.

Barclaycard has been a lifeline to me in recent times, a due inheritance was delayed at a time when everything happened/needed paying at once. Without the help of Barclaycard I would have been under a lot of stress. But thankfully that has not been the case. For this I am very grateful.

I've been a Barclaycard customer for over 10 years but I am very unhappy about the upcoming closure of the online card servicing portal. I refuse to install another app on my phone when I only need to access the account once or twice a month. The alternative, Barclays internet banking portal is nowhere near as good. I am seriously thinking about closing my account.

Baclaycard customers are being forced to use the Barclays Bank website to administer their Barclaycard from September 2026, instead of using the Barclaycard website like we've done for years. No choice, got to do it.
I would have expected a bank's website to provide accurate figures on what I has spent on my card or what money I had paid off from my card, but this is not the case. If I download my transactions as a CSV file, to import into a spreadsheet, the figures are wrong, every entry is rounded down to whole pounds, both debits and credits.
Come on Barclays, your a bank, reporting accurate transaction entries is a fundamental part of what you do. Did nobody test this functionality?
I am going to eke out my parallel access to the old BarclayCARD website, which did report accurate figures until the 16th of September, if it's not fixed by then I'll look for an alternative credit card from a better financial institution.

Twice my credit card has been declined and twice I have phoned to report the issue. First time after explaining how difficult it is to talk to a human being, I was told to use the messaging feature on the app. So today when my card was declined, I tried to use the messaging feature but it was out of service. Phoned and got caught up with automated messages and systems that cannot understand the words "CARD DECLINED". Finally a human being came on line but could find nothing wrong with the card - so he said the plastic must be the problem!!! and I would have to wait 7 days for a new card. I have been with Barclaycard from the beginning of there existence but am thinking of changing.

I had to report a case of fraudulent payment on my card 3 days ago made on the 18th August 2026, they came back and said they had found two more 11th and 18th July they refunded me for the two in July but not the August one . When I noticed this today I phoned them to tell them , I got a guy whose command of the English language scored , I would say 5 out of 10 ,he kept going through I believe a script . When I interrupted him he told me to be patient and listen. He then told me to stop using the card and to destroy it , I said I had already done that three days ago he then told me I must not use it . I then asked to speak to a supervisor I was told quite bluntly nobody's available.By this time I had had enough. I am a disabled person with multiple complex medical issues, one of which is Addison desease , where stress can be fatal . Barclays know this and all other times call handlers have recognised this . I was already wound up re the fraud and then I get this pillock
As you can see Barclays standard reply , expecting me to make the move to contact them not trying to contact me . Not only that I clicked the link nothing happens about right I guess. I have a cooperative account with about a tenner in it now they are being taken over by a building society perhaps interest rates will be better so then I'll transfer

They are are going from bad to worse. For example, I asked Barclaycard to cancel a monthly debit by an obviously dodgy company which I had not signed up to. They said they would, but they haven't, and the dosh is still sloshing out of my account. I complained for the second time by post 10 days ago, and haven' t received a response, let alone an acknowledgement. I've been with Barclaycard for over 20 years, but I've really had enough of them now. I'm transferring my allegiance to Lloyds Ultra Credit who are much more on the ball.

I am so disappointed with customer services, despite calling them multiple times due to me being able to access my account details online.
I really believe as a customer I was fobbed off. I spoke to people who really had customer services skills or people skills in general.
I contacted Barclays customer services several times in the last two weeks, and still no huge effort has been made. I’ve done a balance transfer as I don’t need the aggro, it’s rude to ignore people’s issues going on and not escalating it in good time!
Barclays will owe me a refund back so I hope they sort it out as I don’t need more issues honestly! Good luck Barclaycard!
I have now left Barclaycard!

I lost trust in barclaycard because you are not protected when using their card

Very easy to apply for and a generous amount of credit considering I haven't had a credit card for numerous years.

"I didn't realize I could qualify for a Barclaycard without having a Barclays bank account. I kept seeing the option pop up while shopping on Amazon, but I hesitated for almost two years. I finally decided to give it a try, and to my surprise, I was approved!"
