Printer came in as ordered in three days. Can't beat the price.
Online ordering doesn't offer "order status" featuring. Most recent order didn't include tracking and was a drop shipment making it difficult to know if the order was delivered. The customer service was OK, however it was again difficult to get order status or tracking until after the order was delivered. Tried using the "CHAT" feature and there was never anyone who responded to that. There's no feature to set up online accounts so you can track past orders and reorder again.
The printer never worked for more than 1 hour at a time. After spending 3 days on the phone with the manufacturer they told to call where I bought from for a replacement. Barcode Giant wanted to call the manufacturer again to issue a claim number. Then they said the have to charge for a second printer if I wanted a replacement and they will credit me after 15 days they receive the defective one. I have never heard anything like that ever.
Everything went fine during my ordering. The product came in, it was received, ordering was a snap and the product works.
I wanted 2 day shopping and it took 1 week and 2 days. Terrible service.
I have purchased from Barcode Giant twice now. I called to talk to a real person before my first purchase and they were great. While they are an e-commerce site and not necessarily setup as a live phone agent type operation, dropping thousands on RFID equipment can be scary from a relatively unknown site. Talking to someone was the only way I was comfortable with my initial purchase, so I would highly recommend this route if you have the same concerns. My second purchase I just went with a regular online order.
Both orders were fine, no problems. I received the gear quickly and exactly as ordered, and for a lower price than I found anywhere else.
