Bernafon Will Not Support its Products

I spent $1700 for Bernafon hearing aids at a shopping club. After a day, and much frustration, I find that my smart phone will not pair with the Bernafon app. I need to be able to use this app to adjust my aids and troubleshoot. Bernafon has a tech support email on their website, which I emailed. Their response? They do not support their product. I was instructed to go back to the retailer. The retailer has an audiologist that I am sure is not versed in smart phones, the app and pairing difficulties. Besides, with turnover at these stores, this is not even a good short term solution. Fortunately, I can return these aids for a full refund, which I will do. I will gladly buy a pair from their competition at another shopping club.
