In Norfolk area currently cold calling in Fleggburgh

In Norfolk area currently. Came unannounced to my door. Took me by surprise. I’ve since read through all the reviews on here - and he gave me the exact word for word same speech about factory closure, Chelsea flower show, some rubbish about a neighbour telling him to come and try my house…. etc etc etc …….
What I didn’t like was the fact that he kept mentioning my dog, referencing him sounding ferocious etc - could have been trying to find out if he’s friendly in a round about way ? and went as far as to ask how many dogs we have here. I felt uncomfortable about that instantly - and I then felt like he may have had alternative reasons for asking such questions maybe? I took a pic of his van registration, and he is on my cctv in 5 areas, so I have pretty good video footage - just incase anything happens ….
I actually feel sick that he’s visted my property - and tried to con me. Eye opener for me.

A complete scammer who will feed you a…

A complete scammer who will feed you a sob story about his local factory having to close this year and neighbours down the road suggesting he knocked on your door, as he was delivering your order. It is all lies. He claims to have exhibited at Chelsea flower show and New Forest show ( but not this year), and had awards, again all lies. They have goods in van and will show you a well worn catalogue showing how much discount they are giving you. They only take Bank Tx on the spot and give you an invoice afterwards, small print “all sales final, no refunds or exchanges”. Simply type “teak garden furniture” into google and you will find the same products at half the price on numerous sites, all imported, not made in his imaginary local factory. I am just doing a report / complaint for “trading standards” to investigate.

Update - Now over 2 months on and no response to my emails, contact number never answered and they never call back. Now discovered the VAT number on their invoice is false and does not exist. The registered company address on the invoice is false and does not exist.
Obvious fraudulent positive feedback comments left, as first 2 reviews for months left immediately after my negative review. A complete disgrace and a scammer.

DOOR KNOCKING SCAMMERS AVOID

He is in a small village outside of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk today, 16/05/2025, Exactly the same as the below review, door knocking saying neighbours sent him to see us, he passed several houses to stop at us without door knocking them, highly suspicious, no doubt casing the house and so reported to the police and shown on the local facebook pages to warn others, thankfully lots of ring cameras to get pictures to warn others on social media, highly suspicious actives and telling people different things, smells of being up to no good, DONT OPEN YOUR DOOR, AVOID

Beware of Bespoke Nurseries'…

Beware of Bespoke Nurseries' Off-Premises Sales
We recently had a frustrating experience with Bespoke Nurseries and their door-to-door sales approach. The owner of the company knocked on our door, claiming that their furniture factory was closing down and that they were offering heavily discounted teak garden furniture as part of a clearance sale. He showed us a catalog featuring a bench supposedly £1,000 off, making it seem like an incredible deal.
Feeling sympathetic about the "factory closure," we decided to take the bench. He immediately placed it in our garden and then convinced us to purchase more furniture and olive trees, claiming we were getting a very good price. Everything was conveniently already in his van, which in hindsight felt like a classic high-pressure sales tactic.
Shortly after, we regretted the purchase and found the same bench online for 30% less. Worse still, the bench we received had several marks and a crack. When we contacted Bespoke Nurseries for a return and refund, our request was denied, and we are still waiting for a follow-up.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers are entitled to a refund if a product is not of satisfactory quality. Given the damage and misleading sales tactics, we firmly believe we have the right to a refund.
Looking back, we were fooled by the "factory closing down" story, and we strongly advise others not to fall for the same tactic and don’t expect any after sale services from this company.

Review will be updated after a follow up from the company.

Don't go near this company

Don't go near this company. they carried out an off premises sale then refused to refund after the order was cancelled. Under Consumer contracts legislation the consumer has 14 days cancellation rights. They have an interesting range of false sales tactics and spin and have no interest in after sales service.
