We arrived in Palma de Mallorca on the 24th of July 2021. I needed euros for taxi to my hotel, the girl the desk told an exchange rate on the board and told me no exchange fee etc. When I gave her £200 cash, she printed a receipt showed a different rate and not give my money back, she said no refund. It’s a scam, don’t use it.

Italian Thieves,

I have to admit that the reason you are in business until now - even after all compliant against your unethical some of the Police and the Carabinieri force do protect your crook activity, how much do you pay them? I see you succeed to bribe some corrupted officers, but soon or later you will be all in jail, you giving a bad name to the whole country simply because some crook police officers and some Carabinieri sold their soul to you Mr. & Mrs. Crooks.

AVOID!! Go to the bank!

Save your money and go to the bank on the corner of Duomo. I changed $800 and they gave me $567. I then went to the bank and they would have given me $713. They said they should not be able to rob people that way but they do. I returned to Best and Fast Change within 10 min and they refused to give me a refund. Horrible service!!! Avoid and go to the bank! The bank is transparent with their cost. They only charged $10 and the best exchange rate!

Complete Rogues, Thieves, Scammers

They are scammers. They won't tell you how much you're going to get and they never tell you how much commission they make. The rates advertised on their boards are a complete lie. And they try to get you to withdraw more cash to get a better rate. All lies! I got 270 euros in total for CHF330, USD20 and AED200. Please DO NOT USE this company. They give Italy a bad name

Stay away from Best And Fast Change!!!!

I've been searching at internet about this company and noticed that they have been robbing tourists for more than 7 years. Today I was the victim. The attendant didn't inform me about the 20% commission (plus 10 euros) and refused to cancel the operation. In Venice.

Absoloute SCAM! Do not go here

We tried to exchange $500 AU and were not told about a 20% comission rate! Those Roman scammers took $200 more than they should have, after talking us into a dodgy deal! Do not go to Best and Fast Change, no matter how much you need to, they are absoloute scammers. Go somewhere decent like American Express, who aren't dishonest. This theiving, scammy place should be shut down!

Best and Fast change: Thieves and scammers

I went in today to exchange $500 USD into euros. They took the money and told me I would get better price if it’s more than $1000 USD.
The exchange rate was 1.186 which gives me 421 euros. I even asked them that will I get this amount and they said yes. Next thing I know, they did the transaction and handed me 327 euros, telling me they applied their tax rate and commission on it. I refused to take it and asked for refund, but all in vein. Last but not the least, they gave me an option that If I need the dollars back, I can exchange these 327 euros back to dollars and will be able to take $167 USD. This is clearly a big scam. They are thieves.

These guys are dishonest DO NOT USE THEM

These guys are dishonest. They steal your money. WARNING do not go there.

So firstly they try to convince you to change more money because you’ll get a “better rate”. Then when you ask for how much exactly you will get they do not tell you.

I was counting out my money whilst the lady apparently was doing the calculation she then grabbed my money before I had decided to commit because she had not told me how much I was getting at this point.

At this point she told me what I would be getting which was a 20% cut for them. OMG 20% that’s highway robbery. I asked for my money back but she refused. I made a huge scene but really there was nothing I could do. My daughter even tried to get the police.

They basically steal 20% of your money.

I also then contacted the company by email and they have said it’s all legal. They also said that according to the “monitor” everything was done legally. I asked her for a copy of the video footage from the “monitor” when she admitted there was none.

I have emailed again saying that in that case they are just taking the employees word against mine but have had no further response.

This is a complete scam. And no one will help you. DO NOT USE THEM.

I don’t know how these people can sleep st night / so corrupt. You are giving your country a bad name.

I hope everyone sees this and that the company goes bust.

Thank you and sorry for the long rant

They will steal your money

They will steal your money

they are cheating by not telling you the detail calculation. And also they will not confirm the amount just simply give your the money with out confirmation or explanation.the bill only informed the total money that they gave to you. they never explained about 20% commission fee. you better never ever go to their place.
When I asked for my money back she rudely said go do whatever you want.
I send them emails and they will not even reply properly just they said “IT IS legal what we are doing “ that’s all.
Really be carful

These guys are gangsters

These guys are gangsters.

In a crunch, as I needed money in a hurry while shopping in Venice, Italy, today, I was careless enough to change US$600 into Euro, with no trustworthy ATM in sight. Based on their stated rate, I expected to get about Euro520 or perhaps 510 due to their "processing fee." As if this rate wasn't bad enough, my jaw dropped when they paid me a mere Euro402, charging an additional fee of almost 20%.

Their practices may me technically legal but they are highly immoral and corrupt. Some government agency should intervene and stop such abuses of travelers.

Anybody who does business with these crooks (including myself) is a fool and has only themselves to blame.

They will steal your money

They will steal your money, be careful when you are in Rome. Who in the world takes 19.99% for service. I change 200 dollars in Serbia and got 170 euros and two days later I did the same in Rome and they gave me 129 euros. When I told them that that is fraud he has the courage to tell me I wouldn't advice you to change them back into dollars you would get 100 dollars. Be aware of these theaves they are everywhere in Rome.

We just arrived in Rome and I went to change my dollar to euro the lady told me I will get a better price if I change 1000 dollar. She said they will give me 1.241 if I exchange a 1000 and when I receive the receipt it is 624 Euro I was really shocked and ask the lady how they have calculated she said this is a tax by the government 21% tax cut. I don’t believe what I just received and this is a robbery they will not give you the information before changing they will say this is the Italian tax law and every where it is the same. It is a scam and robbery don’t use this beat&fastchange
