Great location and property. Spacious for our two families to share with kids having their own bathroom. Very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely to have tea, coffee, milk, cake and prosecco waiting on arrival.

One of our best holidays at Onnen Fawr Farm cottages. Comfortable and well maintained accommodation, beautiful farm views, quiet surroundings and helpful and friendly owners. Couldn't ask for more.

Lovely size property and good location .Short cuts to best beaches via woodland walk was a real find. Comfortable beds, lovely bath and shower. Very close to excellent local mini supermarket and a fantastic newly opened deli. Only downside was late night noise from Sports Bar opposite which made it hard to get to sleep on some nights.

We needed to know in advance how secure the garden was. We received confirmation that the garden was safe for our dogs prior to booking.
Best of Wales provided great information on the property.

The property is in an amazing setting. Watching the sun set over the sea and Barmouth was a privilege.
Quiet and relaxing in the middle of nowhere. Walks from the door.
House was lovely. Loads of room for our group and dogs.
One evening, in JULY! it was chilly and wet. We lit the log burner. The best we have known. The room was lovely toasty in a few minutes.
Best of Wales presents this holiday home very well

My partner and I had a fantastic 5 night stay at Caban Clyd in July 2023. The views were beautiful in every direction and there are a wide range of walks available right on the doorstep. The location is quiet and private but with local amenities just a 5 minute walk away. There is a lovely pub in the village called Y Llew Coch (The Red Lion) which we went to often for food - delicious, hearty meals (especially the Sunday roast!) and very friendly staff and locals. The pod itself is extremely cosy and very well equipped, and the hot tub was lovely after a long day of walking. Though we didn't meet Elen herself, we met her friendly husband who worked on the farm next door and we knew we could contact Elen for anything we might need. For those who enjoy a good climb but do not want the crowds of Snowden, we recommend Aran Fawdwwy (10min drive from Caban Clyd) - it is a difficult hike but stunningly beautiful and very quiet. We only saw 3 other hikers all day! All in all, we had a really lovely visit at Caban Clyd and would love to return in the future. Thanks Elen for having us :)

Due to a change in ownership of the property the sleeping arrangements were not as advertised on the Original Cottages website. We were short of 2 beds in our group of 6 and needed to make use of children’s bunk beds.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bwthyn Nant Bach in North Wales. As first time visitors to the area, this was a great property to choose. The cottage is cleverly constructed and beautiful inside. The couple who looked after us were so friendly and a real pleasure to meet. We had a base to explore the beautiful countryside and enjoy some great family adventures.

The hosts were really welcoming and freindly, they made an effort to engage with the small children.
The property was comfortable and roomy. It was kept well and was well equipped.
We had very young children with us and they really enjoyed the surroundings. A little playpark alongside the barn was great for the kids in the morning. A home from home and a lovely place to spend a week. It is in a beautiful setting in a valley so lovely calming scenery.
Lots of local attractions to visit and lots of pubs and restaurants within driving distance.

Amazing property. Spacious, modern and comfortable with every piece of equipment there you would need. The three bathrooms for six adults and two infants really helpful. Set in a perfect location in the heart of the town. Near shops, restaurants and harbour. Would book it again.

Really enjoyable, with time out from the pressures of the London to be on holiday staying at a fab edge of farm property, travelling around Wales which is an exceptional scenic, outdoors fun country with cute towns, beaches, steam trains, waterfalls, mining, castles etc!

House was in quite a bit of disrepair amd given we paid a lot of money for it I expected a lot better. The location was amazing.

On the website a very easy-to-follow process for looking at properties and then booking. Information provided on the property we booked was clear and accurate. Really appreciated the sheet on useful Welsh phrases, with a pronunciation guide. Would definitely use them again. Had a brilliant holiday.

A lovely modern bungalow, spotlessly clean and comfortable with views over the fields to Cardigan Bay.
Anwen and Eifion and family ensured a very warm and friendly welcome and it was the perfect place just to chill out and relax for the time we were there

Great house offering all we could want and situated in the right area. Comfortably furnished with quality furnishing in a neutral manner. Welcoming hosts who did the little extras and were there if you needed them but not intrusive. A truly great place.

We are going back to that property! That is the best recommendation that I can give. Fantastic Property in a brilliant location with a wonderful hostess.

Just to let you all know iv been getting blamed for the last 21 or 22 years for my brother Sam nugent raping shivuans face while she was sat in her pram and my mum knocked me out for it no one has ever spoke to me about it in my life because Sam and Dom have been attention seeking about it and making up all sorts of stuff and because they come from a pedophile ring family they been allowed to get away with it iv been left alone for the last 7 years with the locals trying to make me kill myself I can write what ever I want and they will never talk to me about anything it's called corruption and as long as I'm being ignored by people they will keep getting away with it your all the same probably bunch of loser baby rapist what can you expect living in wales

We booked the cottage through Best of Wales. The photo and written information show a house apparently on its own. However it is directly on to a very busy B road. This is very noisy as the bedrooms are downstairs next to the road. The cottage is also very damp and had a very large industrial size dehumidifier which had to be emptied twice day. It smelt of drains in the bedroom and there was also mould. Despite all of this and understandably having to leave early Best of Wales say they are not responsible and the owner is unwilling to compensate.
Be warned, you have no rights when things go wrong and there seems little point in booking with an agent.
