Bello Homes in NC has ruined Airbnb for me

I've been a happy AIRBNB guest for over 9 years until I had the misfortune of staying at a Bello Home, LLC rental. It's not that the oven/stove didn't work and we had to order out for meals it's the fact they act like shysters. On the day reviews expired (2 weeks later) they demanded over $1500 in "damages" WTF?!? We did accidentally drop a bean sprout on the $50 dining room rug and left a wet spot but the rest is BS. My complaint is to use Airbnb you now need to photograph any imperfection at checkin and run a "punch list" for appliances, games, etc. PLUS video the place at checkout so you are protected by unscrupulous people like V. Karen Bello and her cleaning team. Very sad. These bad apples ruin a great situation for all the others. Not sure this will be protective for others but glad to have my say.
