From start to finish Sid was both helpful and knowledgeable the only thing that was a little tedious was all the waiting around, but I realise that is not the fault of the sales people.

I’d already selected my car and sorted the payment online, so the in‑person appointment was mostly to finalise the details. The whole process took roughly three hours, which was longer than I's anticipated, but once everything was completed I left with the car the same day. The standout positive for me was the lack of pressure around add‑ons. I said no to the extras, and the team accepted that without trying to upsell or change my mind. That made the experience feel much more comfortable and customer‑focused.

Syed was very helpful and showed us a couple of cars we were interested in. He gave us plenty of time to look at the cars and pointed out all the features without pressuring us into a sale. He was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions.

Great Service from Jakir Hussain at Big Motoring World Leeds
We recently purchased a car from the Leeds branch of Big Motoring World. The selection of vehicles available was very good and we were able to find a car that suited our requirements.
Unfortunately, after our initial test drive, some issues were identified with the vehicle, which was disappointing, especially as we had travelled all the way from London to view it. However, I must give credit where it's due. Our Sales Advisor, Jakir Hussain, immediately took ownership of the situation and arranged for the vehicle to be thoroughly checked by the technical team. As a result, additional issues were identified and resolved before the sale proceeded.
Although this meant making a second trip from London the following weekend, Jakir was extremely apologetic throughout and kept us informed every step of the way.
What really stood out was Jakir's professionalism, courtesy and knowledge. He took the time to explain the vehicle's features in detail, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were comfortable with the car before driving away. He also clearly explained the entire purchase process before handing us over to the finance and compliance teams, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
A big thank you to Jakir Hussain for his outstanding customer service and for making the overall buying journey such a positive experience. He is a real credit to Big Motoring World.

When I first attended Big Motoring world in Leeds, I dealt with Jack. He was great and didn't make it seem like you were pressed to buy a car from him.
I found a car on the website and paid the £129 to move it from Norfolk to Leeds. I had also used the online valuation tool to get an idea of how much my car would be worth as a part ex.
The online tool indicated that my vehicle with it's mileage in a bad state would net me £19500 and in showroom condition it would net me £22000. Great I thought.
The day after paying for the car to be moved, someone from the finance team called me and informed me that my part ex would net me a minimum of £18500 which surprised me but he assured me that this was the minimum.
When the car got to site, I went to go look at it. At which point, a different sales rep took me through the part ex value of my car and informed me that they'd be looking at £17500.
When I told them that the website had guaranteed my trade in value for 7 days, he said that the management were trying to get head office to change the website so it didn't say "x" value minimum.
After some fighting, I was able to get £19900 with 3 years warranty and 3 years tyre and alloy insurance. However the whole experience put me off using big motoring world again as it felt like the branch was completely disconnected to the wider business and that the supervision were just trying to line their own pockets.
Jack was a pleasure to deal with on my first couple of visits, but the last visit ruined the experience.

This is a 100% honest review based on my experiences at Big Motoring World Leeds. I saw a car for sale online, I was impressed by the description, age and miles and more importantly the price. Booked an appointment to view the car 9am on a Saturday morning, with a £2600 online evaluation of my trade in. Three days before i was able to reserve the car with a no quibble £99 deposit. Things moved swiftly on arrival, The car was available to view and test drive by a very nice sales person. After the viewing the new vehicle and doing a test drive my trade in was reduced by £1000, even after being described as excellent condition inside and out.l, not happy and quite insulting. I was then offered the difference in the drop in optional extras on the new car. I also had a private plate on my current car so i explained that i would need to come back after the deal was agreed when I had my new log book. I was assured all could be done that day so not to worry, which i did. To then find I had to pay £250 holding fee until I brought the new V5 back with the original number plate on, not what was explained to me of a simple transaction of we can sort all of that here. Let's move this story forward, i purchased my 2025 Nissan Juke, not happy that I had to pay £250 refundable monies after being told its ok we can sort that out. I'm still waiting for the log book to come in the post, but im sure my £250 will be refunded as quickly as my £99 reservation fee was. The big review is the car I purchased. Drives great, looks great and apart from feeling like being on a production line at Big Motoring world. My experience was overhaulI 100%. Just be prepared, its a long day, but there lots of free refreshments and I was well looked after. ONLY ONE WEEK OF HAVING MY NEW CAR, so lets see if I have issues like many others that have left reviews

I would like to share my excellent experience with your team, especially Ibrahim and Amy.
From the beginning of the process, Ibrahim provided outstanding support and guidance. He was extremely kind, humble, professional, and always willing to help. He made the entire car-buying experience smooth and stress-free for us.
We would happily give Ibrahim a 5-star rating for his exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to assist us with every step of the process, including helping us achieve a good value for our old car through the part-exchange service. We were particularly impressed with how easy and convenient the car exchange process was.
Amy was also very helpful and supportive throughout our journey, and we truly appreciated her assistance.

Visited Big Motoring World Leeds on Sunday 7th of June looking to buy a new car was greeted by Khizer who let us know if we needed any help give him a shout once we found a car I liked he made the rest of the process smooth as possible from test driving to then going ahead and purchasing the car he was very helpful, informative and easy to chat to which put us at ease and comfortable. Once we got handed over to Aqeeb for the hand over of the car he also made this process very smooth and informative unfortunately the was an issue with the electrics in the car for the side mirrors so we wasn’t able to pick the car up till the following Wednesday but Aqeeb pushed this forward for us and did all the best he could which we massively appreciated - Absolutely love my new car so a massive thank you to both Khizer & Aqeeb.

DO NOT USE. Test drove a car on the Thursday. I was told it had a small fault with a parking sensor which they would fix. Called on the Friday to let them know I had sold my car (due to their part exchange being too low) and that I would be over in the afternoon to pay for the car and drive away. I was told to secure the car with a £500 deposit which I did and that the sales person would personally take the car to the mechanic that morning so the sensor could be fixed.
I arrived later that day to be told as the car had a fault that could not be fixed that day, I could not drive away with the car. They didn’t even attempt to call me with this information and let me drive an hour there with my small child. I asked to speak to a manager who had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He had no idea of the deposit I was told to pay and blamed me for knowing about the fault but still arriving to collect the car. I asked for my deposit back which they refunded but there was no apology or attempt at rectifying the situation. I have now been without a car for a week while I try to source one from a reputable dealer. Such a disappointment.

If I could give these 0 stars - I would!
The salesman - fabulous, of course, he's getting a bonus/commission but he was the best experience at this place.
I cannot even begin with the after sales debacle. Collection time - brought my trade in, took reg off vehicle, left over an hour waiting to be told we could not collect the car. Insurance changed, no way of getting home. "you can get a taxi", "we can only compensate £50". This just gets better, came back the following evening, managed to collect the car this time, then the wait for the V5. Ohhh no, they only filled this with the incorrect details! Had to apply for the V5 and pay for this privilege too. Needless to say having just received the V5 this week I would NEVER recommend these. It's been a painful and stressful experience and their customer service is NIL. Be very careful if you are brave enough to go to Leeds branch - there are far more garages around that you would get a much better deal and experience with.
GOOD POINT TO NOTE: if you leave a 5 star review surprising you get a response!!!

Bought extra warranty after being told that they do in house repairs and that I would get a courtesy car whilst car being repaired. (Thats s big lie). I rang up they said id have to ring warranty company, I did they said I had no warranty and they wouldn't ring up these clowns to find out, that I had to do it. I was back and forth with calls for 3 days, then I found out they'd gave me the wrong number for the warranty company. Don't trust these clowns. You have to do all the running about. Only 1 person in after sales office can do the sending of documents they say, so what happens if that person is sick, on dinner, or holidays. Do the calls get logged till that person is back in the office. As I said they are clowns dont trust them

Lovely sales experience, nice chap sold us a 3 year old BMW, sold us extended 3 year warranty. Within weeks started to have issues with the car, 2 years in has become progressively worse. Extended warranty not worth the paper its written on. Staff/ Management at the Leeds site blatantly refuse to offer assistance and state "yes we know our after sales is awful". Terrible customer service, unless you are about to make a purchase. Really wish I hadn't entered in to a finance agreement with big motoring world, once they have made a sale all the nicities stop, they couldn't care less.

From the salesman on the desk eating sweets and looking disgruntled at having to sell me a car to the poor attitude when i asked for the car to independently checked and would they cover any repair costs.
DO NOT use this company they focus on a 200 point check, if its so thorough the car will fly through an independent inspection. As soon as i asked for this was told I need to see the manager, then came back with the worst attitude I've encountered.
The staff need to remember I'm the customer and they are there to sell a service, not to be obstructive, rude and ill mannered.
If could award a - star I would, at all cost.

UPDATE THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY
Nearly £21k
They’ve had it since yesterday
They promised they would refund it today and I would be contacted.
This has not happened
They have ignored all my requests for an update & confirmation it’s been processed
WHERE IS MY MONEY???
I Will keep updating my review until it’s been received
I have contracted your head office like you asked and you’ve told me you’re investigating my complaint. But why are you keeping my money ? You should not have taken it in the first place
I am now left without a car and unable to purchase another until you refund my money !!!!
Absolutely appalling experience at Big Motoring World Leeds.
We visited on Sunday, test drove a vehicle and agreed to purchase it. We made it clear we would be paying for the car in full and only financing the warranty and tyre/alloy package. A £500 deposit was taken and we were told not to worry about completing the paperwork that day because they were busy. We were specifically told to return on Tuesday evening, collect the car and complete the paperwork then. We were assured it would be quick and straightforward.
We arrived at around 7.30pm at the time the sales guy had booked for us and had to bring our young son with us. We did express our concern at the time about it being a school night and were reassured by him that it would simply be a quick document signing and vehicle handover.
What followed was an absolute shambles.
We arrived, checked in with reception and were told to take a seat as somebody would be with us shortly.
Instead, we were left sitting for well over an hour with no updates, no communication and no customer service whatsoever. On Sunday they could not do enough for us. On collection night, nobody offered a drink, nobody checked on us and nobody even seemed aware we were there.
After waiting and becoming increasingly frustrated, we had to approach reception ourselves not once but twice to ask what was happening. Eventually, we were so fed up that we said if nobody came to see us within ten minutes, we were leaving.
When somebody finally took us into the finance office, things got even worse.
The paperwork had been set up incorrectly. We were initially asked to pay the wrong amount because the warranty and bumper package had been incorrectly added to the vehicle payment that we were paying for outright. We then had to wait again while they corrected their mistake.
Once the paperwork had finally been amended, we transferred the full payment for the vehicle directly from our bank account. We also made the first payment towards the warranty package.
Only after taking our money did the member of staff leave to collect the keys and paperwork.
He then returned and told us we could not have the car.
The dealership did not have the correct documentation required to complete the handover and tax the vehicle.
They invited us in to collect a car that was not ready to be collected. They kept us waiting for over an hour. They processed the paperwork incorrectly. They took full payment for the vehicle. Then, only after our money had left our bank account, they discovered they did not have the documents needed to release the car.
We were later told by their own staff that we should never have been asked to come in that evening in the first place and that the issue arose because the paperwork had not been properly dealt with beforehand.
This was a complete failure of process from start to finish.
The sales manager then came over to try and save the deal. His proposed resolution? A tank of petrol.
After wasting our entire evening, keeping our son out late on a school night, taking our money for a car they could not provide and leaving us with no vehicle, they genuinely thought a tank of fuel was adequate compensation.
We cancelled the purchase immediately.
To make matters even worse, we were promised several emails confirming the refund process and explaining what had gone wrong. Due to poor signal on my phone inside the building, I could not confirm receipt of the emails at the time, but I was assured they had been sent.
We are now home and still have absolutely nothing in writing.
Big Motoring World currently have our money. We have no car, no refund, no confirmation emails and no written explanation.
I have never experienced such a chaotic, disorganised and unprofessional vehicle purchase process. The fact that a dealership can take full payment for a vehicle before confirming it has the correct documentation to legally hand it over is astonishing.
Avoid.

I purchased a Vauxhall Mokka Electric from Big Motoring World in October 2025. Unfortunately, the vehicle has since developed a serious fault and is now completely non-operational.
The car cannot communicate with diagnostic equipment, which indicates a potentially major electronic or control system failure. The 12V battery has been tested and confirmed to be functioning correctly, ruling out a simple battery issue.
What is particularly concerning is that this appears to be a significant defect rather than a problem caused by normal wear and tear. Given the nature of the fault and the age of the vehicle, I believe there may be an inherent manufacturing or pre-existing defect involved.
While the warranty may have expired, consumers are still protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where goods are not of satisfactory quality, durable, or fit for purpose. I have raised this matter accordingly and am seeking a fair resolution.
This experience has been extremely disappointing, especially for a relatively modern electric vehicle.
Their response: As your purchase is now beyond the initial six-month period and there is no extended warranty in place, we are unfortunately not obligated to provide assistance with the current concerns.
In line with the Consumer Rights Act, it will now be onus on yourself to prove these concerns were present at the point of inception, this will need to be via an independent inception for an unbiased opinion from a company such as ACE.
I appreciate that this may be disappointing. While we always strive to support our customers where possible, after careful consideration, we are unable to offer assistance on this occasion.
