Hit and Run
Absolutely appalled by the conduct of an agent from Blackthorne Utilities today.
The agent picked the lock to enter a property without presenting a warrant to staff or the owner when requested. The situation then escalated into a physical altercation involving both staff and the property owner.
Most shockingly, as the agent was leaving in his vehicle, he drove into the owner and continued driving for over 20 metres while the owner was on the car before driving away. Witnesses also heard the agent shout: “This is how we do business.”
The owner has since been taken to A&E with injuries.
This was an extremely distressing and dangerous incident. Based on this experience, I would strongly warn others to be cautious when dealing with this company.
