I’ve first run into BlockFi about a year ago and as everyone I was very sceptical to give my hard earned bitcoins to some random company. I’ve done a lot of research and after deciding that the company was legit I finally opened an account in November 2020.

So far my overall experience has been absolutely great. They do exactly what they claim to do. Great interest rates paid out monthly to your account, they offer you some basic trading between BTC, ETH, LTC, and a bunch of stable coins, and loans (Which I didn’t personally try). I’ve already tried once to withdraw some USDC (without fees as you have one free withdrawal per month) and the withdrawal was promptly processed on the next working day.

So far I love it! And I would suggest everyone to start eating some interest in their Cryptos.

Nexo or Celsius are better! 100x better!Your fees are so HI and your withdrawal service is so SLOW!

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I have been trying to reach them multiple times over the past few days about a withdraw and constantly get put into a non stop hold that leads to "a service ticket has been created" and it hangs up. I need answers and to speak to a live person now no matter how long the hold que is, I don't want a service ticket created and end up not getting a response for going on 48 hrs now. Only reason I give this company two stars is because of the interest earnings I've received. However because of this horrendous customer service I will be removing all my funds and closing the account. I cannot trust a company that doesn't respond to my requests or answers my phone calls to hold my money. I advise anyone to look into the customer support aspect of this company and not at the beginning but later on after 5-6 months of use with this company and how bad they are at responding to calls for support.

As with all companies they stared with their BS policies...switching to NEXO & LEDN....

Great crypto saving rates....US based & insured.....extremely slow withdrawal speed (they must be a bank & using our $ to cover fractional reserves with the delays)....
I haven't borrowed against my assets so cant speak to that but saw others here are not so pleased...

All in all, a good company to HODL with....

I made several deposits and now they won't return my deposits per my requests. I completed ID verifications successfully 2 times. My deposits were from my bank account. Customer Service and Support have not returned my messages. Don't deposit into BlockFi **WARNING**

I have been using it for some time and cannot complain about the service and the way the site works. I still haven't withdrawn, so I guess this will have to be tested to confirm/negate what other users say about it.

The site itself is secure, deposits are fast. The withdrawal process is def not as reliable or fast as others.The other problem is they recently changed their 6% APR on BTC from up to a mere 2.5. My main issue was they did not even send out emails or notices or news articles saying they did this so I was losing out on interest from higher sites (NEXO, Youhold,etc). They can send emails about news events hyping themselves up but I do not trust any company that reduces your rates without even mentioning it to you or trying to pretend it didn't happen by not reporting on it.

I'm Brazilian, I have 0.001 btc to withdraw, they asked for a minimum amount to withdraw, so I lost my bitcoin, I don't recommend it too bad

Easy to deposit, Difficult to Withdraw. First they tell you your deposit is pending. They do not tell you that they have sent you an email that your withdrawal will be cancelled, because your account has been "flagged" and you will need to do further KYC. After that stage has been completed still took another 5 days for them to get around returning my btc.

Beware of withdrawls. I have been wanting to send Bitcoins to my Lebanese folks who are struggling now. it s been THREE DAYS and still the money remains Pending and frozen leaving me completely Helpless to my relatives who have lost their car, their homes, are injured and have no food.

Tryed customer service, tryed AI chat box and no one have answered me yet not even acknowledged receipt of my query = The silent treatment. That's what BlockFi Customer service gives to their Investors.

yea the website was weird sometimes or i might have been my browser.
but it's simple and blockfi has given a very good impression. good customer service, simple website.
excellent transfer possiblity to deposit USD from bank which is converted to GUSD which can be converted for free to USDC, great rates

after reading about so many people issues with this company i recommend people avoid it. i was looking into joining up but have been turned off it indefinitely it appears support is poor and people seem to have issues when it comes to withdrawing ( not so much on trustpilot but on other things like redit they dont have a great look. their idea is fantastic to all who risk it good luck hope it pays off for you. anyone who loses out which a lot seem to be you had been warned

Recently asked 'customer support' for an address update to be done my account after doing KYC as my actual address is different from the one on my old (but valid) driving licence.

Thought no more about it until today. I was about to deposit BTC but decided to have a quick look around my account first. Unbeknownst to me, they had inserted the old home address in my account!

Not really a problem until you go to withdraw and they hit you for a proof of address that you don't have and perhaps put a block on releasing your funds...Not a situation I'd like to experience!

I really don't like this behaviour, when people change important info like this without permission, so I've requested my account be terminated.

Good luck when things go wrong. Reached out to customer support and I had to push them to honor their deal. *Which they eventually did.

help center of a disarming slowness, I have a transaction (CONFIRMED) pending on blockfi from 3 days, despite various complaints I still have no answers ... bad

Excellent Service, with Good interest

Constant problems with 2FA. Website tells me "code mismatch" but when I refresh the page code was fine and I can continue. Other times I have to try putting 5 codes one by one until one of them works (its usually 1 in 5)
I've been trying AndOTP, FreeOTP and Google Authenticator, all resulted in the same errors. I don't have this problem anywhere else despite using the same 2FA app everywhere.
I'm taking my money out of there.

I have been a customer of BlockFi since before their Bitcoin Interest Account retail launch in the spring of 2019. Their customer service has always been prompt and courteous (email and voice). They have always met or exceeded speed of transfer and execution with deposits and withdrawals (relative to their policy benchmarks as stated in their terms and conditions). Their interest rates are generous and compare very favorably with other financial instruments such as equity and corporate bond rates of return.

They have an active social media presence and reach out to customers. Founder Zac Prince makes himself available for questions and grants detailed interviews on multiple podcasts so his customers can understand what they are signing up for.

DYOR and only commit funds that you would consider risk assets. If you are in the Bitcoin ecosystem then you should already understand what you are agreeing to. A good balance of risk/reward and not-your-keys.
