I was told I needed to sort somethings out my end first. Yep fine. I’ll call you when I have sorted it out. Now getting phones 3 times a week hounding me for the paperwork. I have told them every time that I will contact them when I have it sorted. But still the phone calls continue. I have now told them that I am no longer interested in their services and to remove my details. But still the phone calls continue. I have now pointed out to them that they are now breaking the law. So we shall see if they call again.

NRS Eco Ltd chased me to do my mums house in Kingstanding.
Very poor. Mum had old air blow gas system and boiler in bathroom cupboard space. Stripped all out. No making good. Holes left eveeywhere. No quality checks. Several asian guys speaking asain and after 2 days saying goodbye. Left mess too.
I was told a fixer would come on the 3rd day. Another day i tool off. 3 in total. And no call. No answer when i called. Holes left from old system and vent holes. Doubt they will be back. Government contract. No-one cares and no-one of any stature to check their poor workmanship.
Tax payers paid and they call it a grant. Not impressed. No-one is.

Even after this time. Still no fixer or fixers have been booked to come back to finish the job. Move radiator put in wrong place and close all holes made by them and old air blow heating system.
Always reminds me of, once youve paid and they leave, you cant get them back. Know what i mean?.....

Well we're do I start from this boiler that's currently outside my house vortex oil boiler by GRANTS is NOT a reliable and guaranteed to last a very long time working with minor servicing issues ie leaking joints etc
But now let me tell you that the boiler has not just had a leak but the whole water jacket has got a leak apparently the WELD has split making this boiler beyond repair and the water jacket is NOT covered under there warranty after 5year my boiler is 7 years old wow wee I think they don't make parts too last I'm not the only one with this problem there are many cases which GRANTS don't tell you about like for instance water jacket made from mild steel by the way you can keep adding inhibitors into this system but guess what once the water jacket WELD has split inhibitors are not useful you are basically pouring your money down the drain and wasting oil so no everyone please please please keep away from this manufacturer and their apparently most selling boiler in the UK which GRANTS is NOT true you are not the best selling boiler in the UK
Oh by the way your technical team needs to be retrained in how to help customers and fob them off with what ever comes to mind I purchased this boiler for over £2500 back then I certainly will not be spending it with grants products again and our whole village is the same way we are all going to be using a different manufacturer with a better review from their manufacturer team and consumer just generally DO NOT BUY ANY GRANTS PRODUCTS YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED and you will definitely REGRET IF YOU DID,,,,,,,,I am totally pissed off with the whole stress they have gave me and my Foster family,,,,,,one word for their boiler,,,,,,,lump of corroded BROWN metal,,,,,,I hope this helps you all

Really friendly & excellent customer service

I have contacted this company for free boiler scheme! They told us that we can have “free” boiler fit -850 pounds so not for tree! Been told that some guy will come on 18th of May to do the Serve but never arrived and not phone call either! Been told they will send all information via email, nothing !!! Tried to contact them for about 3 hours no Answer !!!! Scam

Thank you to GSL for your fantastic service in fitting my new gas boiler. The two fitters which were Gaz and Kieron who were very professional and curtious . They had the replacement and tidying up done in the day, excellent service.

I have recently had my second Grant Vortex external boiler installed. The first one was a bit of a disaster, with multiple breakdowns due to leaks. Grant, to give the firm credit, offered to replace free of charge the orginial boiler with me paying the cost of the installation of the replacement.
The boiler was installed by a Grant recommended engineer a week ago. A blip at the beginning as the boiler supplied heating but failed to supply hot water, but a call to Grant meant theat a Grant engineer came out under the terms of the guarantee to try and sort it. A new flow switch was fitted and now the boiler is fully functioning, supplying both heating and hot water, for which I am grateful to Grant.
I am hoping for a trouble free experience from my Grant boiler from now on and I will update this review in the future.

i emailed my details a very nice guy call duncan called me up ask me some questions and told me i qualified for a grant. The following day sam call me and told me harris the assessor would be phoning me the following day to in arrange an appointment witch he did.we met at my home yesterday he did his survey he was more than helpful pointing out problems in the house with damp and ventilation that i don't know how to cure and he told me how to cure it .so i can't speak highly enough about this company and they representative harris and i am really looking forward to getting my new boiler in the next couple of weeks thank you again.

Applied online, which was really easy. A few simple questions. I wasn’t expecting to hear back so quickly but within the hour i received a phone call from Chelsey. She was so friendly and patient with me, as i wasn’t feeling too great. Chelsey explained everything to me, told me what to expect and what the process would be. Due to my circumstances, couldn’t see a reason why I wouldn’t qualify. I met all the criteria. She booked for a surveyor to come out, there and then. So fingers crossed won’t have to wait too long to hear if and when I will get a new boiler. Thank you Chelsey for being patient, thorough, extremely polite and courteous. You are a credit to your company.

A Grant boiler was recommended and installed. The plumbing work is excellent and I am very pleased with the initial results of my new boiler, Looks good, is quiet in operation and provides an excellent heat output. Although I was obliged to renew my system I am more than pleased with the outcome. The whole job took very little time, is neat in appearance and is working very well.

The make was recommended by the installer and it is one of the best in the market
The installation went well it s quiet and very economical
Our old boiler lasted 25 years no problem at all but oil consumption was getting high
The new one will save us a third of that in a year
And the installers were great and very professional

Well constructed boiler with a stainless steel heat exchanger and Riello burner. Shame the footprint was slightly different from the 16 year old Grant boiler being replaced but the installation went well. One suggestion to assist installers would be to improve the quality of the boiler casing and look at fitting removable cover plates with set screws instead of knock out sections of plate. Otherwise a good boiler.

I applied through several different 'free bioler' and 'government grant for free boiler' and 'boiler grants' etc and soon after filling in my basic details in New Boiler Grant . CO.UK (newboilergrant.co.uk) (ACTUALLY MINUTES AFTER FILLING IN MY DETAILS, AND ON A SUNDAY) I got a call, at that point I thought it's likely a freelancer sourced to sell on commission, calling me on a Sunday I would suspect that the case, she asked me about the details I'd already filled in on the newboilergrant.co.uk (I don't know why I had to repeat myself) and then instantly told me I had to contribute £999 towards the cost of a replacement boiler. WHAT A JOKE! I could get a new boiler without grant for less than that, stupid. What a nightmare, having all these people trying to make a fast buck out of the free boiler to the vulnerable. SCUMBAGS.

When I click on the online form I just get more information,which I've read already. There's no form. Another crap website

To apply online is very easy. They don't bombard you with rubbish or phone you up 20 4 7. I applied online then they phoned me only once to inform me of the result.
And organised a survey for me.
I can't believe iv not had any pushie salesman or call to deal with. Well happy and thank you all you have been a lifesaver xx

Very good service

I would like to be honest about my opinion. The only part which i was very disapointed about was the boiler assesment. A gentleman man round to check where to fit our boiler he was very ignorant rushed his job. I also asked a few things from him but he did not explain propley to me as u may understand we have a right to raise any concerns. Overall the office staff over the phone are helpful.

Great communication with letting me know the next steps and dates for visits. Would highly recommend.
