It was sent to the company’s director, Rosie Whitelock, after she asked for “respect” from me - despite her staff attempting to charge me a £50 “admin fee” after repeatedly breaching my consumer rights and violating our contract through their lies, incompetence, and delivering the order for my books with the worst production quality I have ever encountered in my entire life.

"Who on earth do you think you are?

You copy in "Legal" as a petty act of assertion? How impotent.

You ask for "respect" because factual information is hurty? How pathetic.

You want to "continue assisting me"? How supercilious.

You are "prepared to accept the return of the books"? How arrogant.

Again, formally for the record:

Your staff lie.

You waste my time.

Of the innumerable books I have read over the last fifty-five years, and after every conversation I have had with your staff included my emphasising the need for the highest of quality, the very best you can do is provide the worst quality book I have ever encountered in my entire life.

You have delayed my book going to market for months.

You breach our contact.

You breach my consumer rights.

And nowhere in your email do you genuinely apologise for any of this.

My book is about the woke, empirical decline of Western civilization. That such failure is exemplified by the very business that was to print it is proof my work is not that of fiction. But of fact.

And as director, it is YOU who are ultimately responsible.

I was impressed with these printers, they were a significant improvement on the US company I used previously. Their template is simple, intuitive and easy to use with Word and PDF software. They were helpful and patient through several proofs (including a print proof until I was content to go to print. I will use them again.

Always helpful and checking with you every step of the way to ensure your order is exactly how you want it to be. Amazing !

I have just printed my fifth book with BookPrintingUK and brilliant quality and quick service as usual, very helpful agents and they held the delivery for me until I knew I would be able to take receipt of it. Reasonably priced for self-publishing authors and the bookshops that stock my books like the quality of the print and covers - the covers are not the thin type which curl as soon as you start handling it. My last two books had colour images and they have come out very well.

Brilliant service, quick and easy and arrived within timescales. They are very good at the whole process and keep you updated along the way.

Fantastic experience with BookPrintingUK from start to finish. This was my first time printing a book, so I was a bit nervous, but the whole process was relatively straightforward - especially compared to some other companies I looked at. Fantastic service, beautifully produced books, can't recommend enough. I felt looked after through the whole process. My orders were relatively small in comparison to some I think but it didn't detract from great customer service.
