Good experience. Professional. Quick and friendly service with good instructions

Very friendly staff. Paul knows his stuff. No pressure. Very informative

Cancelled the order for hearing aids from Boots as I felt I was not given enough choice and was being pressured into purchasing the most expensive aids, no other real choices was fully presented to me other than the most expensive I did ask about other choices and the audiologist did have a brief look at 3 other slightly cheaper aids but dismissed them as not as good as the expensive option. Even if I had decided I wanted the most expensive the Boots price was £600 more than other suppliers.

All went well to start with at your Ayr store with Paul, as I'm not that technically savvy, he even provided me with a direct mobile number incase I was struggling.
I have messaged him in the past and he has been very obliging, up until now.
I had messaged him a couple of weeks ago as my settings on my phone are all mixed up and I'm missing my tv and restaurant mode, basically my hearing aids are of no use as I can't hear properly now, like I've said, I'm not that good with such things.
He explained via text message he would check it out on the Monday once he returns to work.
Hadnt heard back from him in a few days, so text him back, he explained how busy they are etc and the nearest appointment wasn't going to be untill the end of February, I had to decline to that, he then sent me over other local chemist's that do the hearing tests etc and a phone number to call.
Having a lot on my mind just now, with a very sick relative and a new baby in the house, plus work etc, I hadn't even realised I have a day off my work on Monday, so I text Paul again on Saturday just to ask if perhaps he had a last minute cancellation on the Monday.
Well his responce was very rude and unprofessional, there are ways of dealing with people.
He wrote a big screed about it being the weekend, he works Monday to Friday 9am untill 5pm and how helpful he had already been.
I was absolutely shocked how someone in his position can treat anyone like that. Good enough to take my money, all nice and helpful then.
Anyhow, I simply responded with an "Appologies".
Needless to say, I will not be returning to this store even although it is my nearest one, I'll be driving a 45 minute drive to the next one.
I will not be recommending this store to any of my friends or family.

UPDATE - In responce to Boots advice, I have now emailed over my personal details. Thank you for your understanding in this matter

Paul couldn't have been more helpful and patient. He was very clear with his instructions, and so feel more confident going forward with my hearing difficulties.

Paul was very approachable and answered any queries fully.

I wrote a review a few days ago regarding Boots Head Office cancelling all appointments. As you will see they responded by asking me to get in touch to discuss. I have tried twice and all the response I get is , is it do do with my appointment no mention of my complaint.

One hearing aid is not working and the other one requires the change of the ear piece more often than told.

Excellent experience with a friendly and very helpful audiologist. The appointment was made easily and a reminder sent close to the date. Pleasant atmosphere with all testing and options discussed. No pressure on the sale with an opportunity to try the product in a busy environment.
I would recommend this service to any of my family and friends.

Paul was really helpful, friendly but professional. He made me feel at ease, explained everything clearly and concisely………I trusted him. treat to do business with him.

Boots is a trusted company. I found my appointment stresses and very informative.

The service at Ayr boots was great unfortunately I'm now on my 4th set of hearing aids as they keep having a fault Paul does all he can to rectify this so fingers crossed

Looking forward to trying out the Hearing Aid recommended for me by your Specialist and to see if this will improve my hearing in all circumstances
