I have contacted boots 4 times now via email and on their Facebook page, and I still have had no response to my complaint, still feel descrimated against as I was refused my hearing test for being completely deaf in one ear, they refused to test my other ear.

Audiologist was arrogant and claimed to be an expert in everything. He suggested hearing aids with Bluetooth capability to connect to my TV. I pointed out I'd already tried connecting my TV to some earbuds using Bluetooth but it didn't work because my sound is driven by a separate amplifier and surround sound system which doesn't have Bluetooth capability. His response was simply to state that he was the expert here, not me. When I pointed out he wasn't an expert in my personal TV set up he refused to proceed with the process of discussing my results or making further recommendations. He abruptly said, I'm not going to discuss it any further. You have hearing loss. That's it. End of test. He didn't even give me a copy of my test results. Boots in Ballymena. Audiologist called Jim.

Great diagnostic process to determine what type of earpiece would be most beneficial. Agent was very knowledgeable and explained each step and the outcomes from it. Recommendations of products were made and were given to try for an hour or do allowing for actual experiences to help selection. A comfortable and knowledgeable session which allowed me to make best decision.
