Disappointing Experience with Borsalino

I purchased a beautiful Borsalino Federico straw hat from the Borsalino Salon in Florence that I wore proudly during our recent trip to Tuscany. Unfortunately a reckless fellow passenger crushed it with his overstuffed suitcase in the overhead bin on our flight home. I reached out three times to Borsalino Customer Service and received no response. I was asking for advice in restoring the piece but none was offered. I have considered re-purchasing the hat, but am not inclined to do so from a company that cares so little about its customer’s satisfaction. A shame for such an iconic brand

No learning based on formerly insolvency

I would expect a higher learning factor from a world-famous traditional brand that has already gone through insolvency once in 2017.

I have already emailed twice to ask for information about a hat that was previously on offer. I have not received a reply. Incidentally, the contact form on the website didn't work either.

Does Borsalino want to continue to make sales and keep the traditional name on the market? Or have the investors already made enough money and can write the company off?

What a pity, I would have liked to continue buying here.

Perfect everyday Trilby

Ordered a Trilby from Alessandria felt on sunday, got delivered on tuesday. (Had to come from Italy to Spain)

It's really light-weight, comfortable, stylish and fits perfectly.

I will buy more hats here, maybe with a medium brim size instead of a short trilby, and probably some different colours as well. I love this brand, it absolutely fits my style

In 2023 I ordered one Borsalino Fedora…

In 2023 I ordered one Borsalino Fedora for 550€. Paid it. Had to return it because it was little to small. Never received my money back, never got any Answer (after about 50 Requests) from Borsalino again. This company is a bottomless mess !!! they are fraudsters ! Order Number: BORSA0603235399044112343

Beware! Misleading website

The top banner of the website clearly says “import duties included”. So I ordered £175 hat (I live in the UK) expecting the price and the £8 shipping charge were inclusive of everything. But apparently not! You have to pay a hefty import duty otherwise the courier won’t deliver the item!
