International sim by Bouygues - referral code doesn’t exist!

International sim by Bouygues is another fantastic scam for which bouygues gets away with without any scrutiny from anyone.
After purchasing a e-sim, you will receive a pop up telling you that you can refer someone and they will immediately get $3 voucher and so will you. The pop up warns that a referral code will be sent ou.
First, no matter what happens, no invoice or proof of purchase is ever received neither by text or email. So no voucher is ever sent out.
When you finally manage to speak to someone in the chat after about 2 hours, the representative wrote that he escalated the issue and will be contacted soon. I asked how soon. He had no idea. After another 2 hours, still no one contacted me nor the person who got the referral link. After 3 weeks still waiting.
What a beautiful scam!!!
Instant voucher code… what a joke.
And just in case using the referral link would get you to a discounted rate, nope. This ain’t happening. So we ended up paying full price twice!!!
Never again
Bunch of fake liars and zero customer services
How dare they!

Bouygues Telecom WORSE customer service EVER!

Bouygues Telecom is a scam -
One of the worse customer service ever!
Be extra careful if you don't speak or write French, After they have your bank infos, they will keep on deducting! you'll spend your life trying to get it back!
For the same price, Go with SOSH/Orange more professional and you can get a landline (its included)
you can call the US: landline and mobile (unlimited calls - and 100 other countries!)
Stay away from Bouygues unless you like to throw away your money!

An absolutely disgusting company

An absolutely disgusting company.
I changed mobile operator about two months ago because of poor signal coverage.
Purely upon having researched the mobile data speed where I live, I swapped from Red by SFR to Bouygues (B&You).
I’ve had nothing but regret since, never more so than the last couple of days.
I was nearing the end of my 200 gigabytes of data and so decided to add more data allowance to get me through to my next reset. Only to find that a fee of 39.95€ had been applied. I asked for this to be reversed where I was eventually told it was impossible, despite previously having been told that I would have to wait for the bill to be generated, at which time I could contest it. This after a 10€ fee had been charged to my account, again impossible to reverse, apparently.
Having negotiated the usual AI inept bot, I have wasted hours in trying to communicate with malicious, inept, and dishonest representatives of this shambolic company.
Please be aware that this unscrupulous company will find ways to apply hidden charges at all costs, and that the advertised plan bares no resemblance to what will be extorted from you. AVOID!!!
I have taken screenshots throughout this very stressful course of events, and I will pursue the matter as and when the time comes. Needless to say, I have already cancelled any further dealing with this shower of sh1t, and I would strongly advise anybody looking for a network provider to look anywhere other that Bouygues.

Awful Company I went to their shop in France paid for my internet they would send an engineer but the money started to go to Bouygues 3 months later I am still trying to get an engineer to come and install the internet.. they tell me I am live .. Well I am not Live . I have to go 50 miles back to the shop to fight with them this is 2023. after a year the doubled the price.. I have a tenant in the property now. i explain that it will be a new tenant so they cut it. and now it will take a new engineer to restore.. But that does not stop bouyges from wanting their money

Shady subscription and no help from Bouygues

Bouygues started charging me 22euro per month because "someone had clicked on a link" and signed me up for a monthly NBA subscription from what looks like a shady company. Bouygues would not help me in getting my money back and said it was out of their hands. I'm still fighting to get my money back. I was okay with my phone and Internet subscription until then, but I was surprised by them raising my subscription price and that upgrading came with a significant fee.

Very bad experience with Bouygues Télécom.

I was told over the phone that my out-of-plan charges were settled, but I still received a €120 bill, just because my phone was not in airplane mode.

Verbal promises from the advisors are not kept, and unexpected charges follow.
Definitely to be avoided.

I would give no stars if that were possible

I would give no stars if that were possible. I had no internet or phone line for 7 months after work was done in the road in readiness for fibre. Three appointments were made for a technician to come and fix it, but all three were a no show. There was no sense of urgency to fix my problem. There was a lot of shrugging and saying it wasn’t their fault. For the 7 months I was expected to pay the full amount. Eventually I got a 5g box. I thought this would cancel my dsl contract but it didn’t. I was expected to pay for both. I tried talking to the assistants in the Avranches shop but they were extremely rude and unhelpful. They became cross when I said I wanted to cancel. The company has continued to demand money from me even though they failed to provide the service I had signed up. They are now chasing me for 20€ and have passed me onto a debt service.
My advice would be to avoid them like the plague.

Do not buy an eSIM from Bouygues

Do not buy an eSIM from Bouygues. I bought one at the Relay store at Nice airport (this seemed reputable). It wouldn’t activate properly on my phone, so I went into the Bouygues store in Nice and they said that they had nothing to do with them and so couldn’t help me. Didn’t even try to take a look and see if they could figure it out. Went to the store in Menton as I was there a couple days later and they said the same and gave me a number to call. I called them and explained my problem in French (my French isn’t perfect but she understood me) and after around 7 minutes the call cut out. I was confused so call back. Started explaining my problem to someone again and they ended the call. So clearly they were only interested in selling me monthly plans and don’t care AT ALL about helping anyone who has bought an eSIM. So DO NOR BUY, they don’t care at all

Over priced and poor service
