Never Breitling again

I have bought the watch £8k from Bond Street boutique London, they never said this need to be maintained by free check ups during the period of warranty, 1 month b4 the warranty lapsed the watch was broken, had horrible experience with Breitling Westfield White City to convince them that this watch is broken and need a repair as they admit this is a perfectly working TIME PIECE :) , they decided to take it for 2-6 weeks and investigate it, saying that I might pay but this will come in an email! the watch was fixed for free but they will not extend my warranty for 3 more years as I did not extend it when it lapsed where the watch and the warranty card was with them :) the watch was expensive and you thing you pay a lot of money for good product trust me NO. There is no value for this piece of work instead of giving you joy one will struggle. I am Dr Malcom and if you need any help b4 you buy this piece of work just text me or call 0789 4252 909 ! Honestly I hope from my experience I can help you guys! To avoid bad hardware and similar Customer service . Thanks

Ridiculous service price and terrible service.

I took my husband's watch to the Norwich store to have a new battery. The quote was £1200! Apparently the mechanism is obsolete. I thought a Breitling was a time piece! The watch is hardly worth £1200. The watch strap apparently needed tightening and the crown needed replacing etc. All this was 'compulsory'. Ridiculous. And it then took them three weeks or more to get it back to me. It cost me £57 and I told them to send it back without the work done. Furious and disappointed. Do not buy a Breitling.

Battery replacement - forget it! Would never buy another Breitling, Shocking customer service.

I own (from new) a Breitling Colt Oceane A77380 Ladies Black Dial which I sent away in August for a replacement Battery, I told the Boutique store at Meadowhall I only wanted a battery NO service, the watch (Quartz) has already had one service in the past but the value of the watch is nearly half what they want for a service but I was happy to pay the £145.00 for a battery change. Firstly I was sent an estimate (28/09/23) £673.00 I called the boutique and advised I only wanted a battery they apologized and said they could see my request and would get it sorted! Then I received a second reminder (11/10/23) so I called again and they said they would speak to the repair shop and call me back, after lots of back and forth I was advise they would not replace the battery without a replacement Cert of Authenticity £310.00! because they could not read the serial number, Which I had already given them over the phone and had the original paperwork/receipt and box etc at home they also confirmed I purchased it from Goldsmiths! if they could not read the serial number its because they over polished it last time they serviced it. I then called the workshop direct to be told if I email a copy of the cert they will replace the battery, as I was being given the email address I was told there was a note on the system, that the battery cant be relaced without a full service! so they had my watch for about 11 weeks just to return it un touched! WHAT A JOKE. Its all about the money no customer service. (The Staff in Meadowhall were also shocked but could do nothing to help)

Definitely the worst customer service I…

Definitely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Bought a watch and after 6 months it stopped working, after being sent back to breitling there response was, I damaged it and they wanted £2500 to repair it! So not only would they not want honour the warranty they try to blame me, and profit in the process!!! I wrote to CEO and he never ever had the decency to respond! Even after 3 emails.
I am tempted to stand outside a breilting store and warn potential new customers going into the store about my experience and their shocking customer service.

Terrible experience.

Terrible experience.
Bought an online exclusive watch for £16,200. They took over a week before they sent it to the courier service, DPD. Yep they paid £4.99 to have a £16k watch delivered. Anyway watch did not come on the Saturday as promised. Called the call centre and they can arrange for the following Saturday. Cancelled order.

A luxury watch company does not send watches on a cheap courier service. Breitling are defo not Luxury watches.

Bought a Breitling online for £5450, everyone else selling this watch for the same price offers a free gift up to £300, mainly being a watch winder. After I purchased the watch I couldn’t see anywhere for an option to add the free gift so enquired about it. I received an email back basically saying I can cancel the order and this took me back a little. After two emails I wasn’t getting anywhere so decided to accept this and kept the order. I was then lead to believe the watch was going to take 2/3 days for delivery all in good time for a posh wedding, days later nothing and not even an acknowledgment of it being dispatched. I again enquired about this and then received an email stating it wasn’t in stock and was being sent direct from Headquarters.

I then sent a further two emails asking for some sort of update nearly a week later “justified” and heard nothing being ignored on both occasions. I then sent a lengthy email complaining regarding all this “justified again” and gave two options of sending a Watch Winder as a good will seeing as I am still without a watch all this time later or to cancel the order… and guess what??? I’m cancelling the order 🤦🏼‍♂️

Never have I ever received such poor quality service where as my best mate has bought three watches within the Cardiff Breitling Store and been treated like royalty each time with free gifts, free straps and champagne. Never ever buy off these online as they do not care about customer service and they let the whole experience down. I made a huge mistake ordering online and now after reading all the reviews I am not one bit surprised with my experience. In my last email I explained I will also leave an honest detailed review if they couldn’t solve this issue and they failed yet again. The person I was dealing with the whole time was Tamara and she clearly does not sympathise, understand or even attempt to solve anything. I have now decided to take my business to Rolex once I am back in the country, even though the Team in Cardiff Breitling are amazing. The reason for this is there’s just way too many complaints about Breitling and their watches going faulty, expensive repairs and very poor customer service, and you can not drop your watch to be repaired in-store. There’s many issues with people waiting months for their watch to be returned and I have never had this with my 10yr old Rolex. They say everything happens for a reason and I definitely slipped the net with this order by the looks of it.

Purchased a Brietling Premier for 5300…

Purchased a Brietling Premier for 5300 from Goldsmiths. 3 months later the date doesn’t tick over. Sent for repair and will have to wait 3 months to get back.

They have confirmed there is a fault.I want a replacement…. Not a faulty watch back.

Load of rubbish. Waste of money.

Absolute Scrap & Service terrible. Don't Buy

Watch is a Cockpit. Have had it serviced by Breitling as required since I bought it. It was never just a service, always something else. Last straw was when I got the watch serviced in May - £900. Repair needed due to 'watch experiencing a shock'. Had it 6 weeks, was really careful with it and couldn't set the time back after being on holiday - Crown stuck, Took it back to Beaverbrooks (Agent). They checked it and showed me that the crown had detatched (nothing I had done) and sent it off to Breitling. Their conclusion - 'watch had a shock' which caused the issue... I know it didn't. Even with a 'gesture' of 50% the service', £1000 + to get the watch working. Never had any problems like this with the other watch I own - clearly from a better manufacturer.
Not going ahead with this for another repair that may last 6 weeks.
I would caution anyone not to buy a Breitling.

Bought a new watch in Jan 2023 and in…

Bought a new watch in Jan 2023 and in July 2023 there was a mark on the face... as it has a sapphire face I thought they would repair it free of charge as it is nearly impossible to scratch wearing it day to day, however to my shock they have sent me a bill to repair it... only 5 months old and a £5k watch. Spend the extra money and go with a rolex... had it for 6 years and never had an issue with customer service or the watch... disgraceful

Today, July 6,2023 was my final conversation with Breitling repair service center manager by name Nicole. Almost 10 days of every day conversations with different representatives about why watch under warranty repair.Official Breitling web clearly indicated 5years warranty repairs if any mechanical problems happen. I purchased watch at October 2018 and it’s around 5 month till warranty ends. By some reason , they refused to repair watch without charges base on 2015 date of production. I tried to explain so many times, that’s Breitling computer error but nobody wants to do investigation and help me. Representatives just to busy for extra time. I explain to everyone, that am US army veteran and recovering after massive heart attack. 10 day on stress to call them with explanations extremely difficult and dangerous for me. Manager “Nicole” said “ you have to pay $1500 for service repairs or take watch back without any”
4years ago I was sended watch for repairs with absolutely the same problem, one of the pusher simply stocked. Now, after repairs it’s happened again. Very disappointed.
Customer service representatives just fallow instructions and didn’t care about customer happiness.

Breitling is the absolute WORST service…

Breitling is the absolute WORST service in the country. You pay $12k for the watch. You have to send it back to even replace a battery which is a yearly replacement then they try to sell you on a service which costs $1300 and they quote a minimum or 3-4 months to return it to you after waiting 3 weeks for the quote already. Never ever buy a Breitling pure garbage.

Exceptional experience

I contacted Breitling Boutique in Queens Arcade Belfast regarding a watch I was interested in by email back in early May , I received the information straight away, going back and forward re stock availability and price etc. Conor was on the ball the whole time, after a few weeks I decided to buy the watch from Conor, he made everything so easy, I then went to Belfast to collect the watch the whole experience was amazing, his team were so attentive, professional and friendly, they sized the watch and handled it with care, absolutely fabulous watch love it, the overall experience was exceptional, I would recommend this Breitling Boutique to anyone, top class service regards Eileen Dunne

Service department is the worst in the watch world

Sent a watch for regular 2 year checkup for the warranty. They keeping the watch for 5 months until they actually work on it. You have to mail it in because even though they have multiple stores where I live, they refuse to have repair guy on location.

They making it hard for the buyer to send the watch and follow up on the required 2 year checkup. If you don’t send it for inspection you end up losing the warranty. So you have to chose between not having your watch for 5 months or so or losing the warranty.

That’s not the luxury you paid for when you bought the watch

Breitling WAS a great watch company NOT ANY MORE

On May 12, 2023, I sent my Navitimer 3100 to a Breitling for repair.
• First, they insisted it was Chronomat GT on the service request.
• Then they denied receiving it. Ahh! But I sent it UPS with a tracking Number.
• It appears they did receive it but could not find it.
• Today, I received a status update. Surprise, Surprise, Surprise the status report says it can’t be fixed. Who would have seen that coming?
• Oh! they offered me 40% off any watch I purchase from them. 40% off is about the price I would pay at a legitimate retailer.
Breitling is not what it use to be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.

Breitling - Edinburgh St James Quarter

My partner and I both decided to check out the new St James Quarter and the first shop we stopped at was Breitling. We weren't looking to buy a watch and my partner had a Breitling on at the time which was fitting loosely so he happened to mention it to the staff in the shop. To our surprise, one of the staff asked if he could take a look and offered to have it adjusted for us at no cost, whatsoever. This was indeed service of the highest level (and I'm sure we were offered a drink/fizz at the same time) - it really made our day. We would have no hesitation in returning to this branch should we be looking to buy another Breitling. What a wonderful experience!

DO NOT BUY A BREITLING WATCH

I was over the moon to get my first high quality watch and to be honest it's been great for 14 years but needed some work last year, took it to the jeweller I bought the watch from, they sent it off then told me £800 to service and repair the watch which I thought was a lot and maybe they were just putting on a nice profit for themselves. Got the watch back and booked it in with Breitling direct only to get a price back of £1100 for a watch worth £2k now. Asked for it back and when it came back the watch was in a setting where the minute hand moved to the seconds (obviously a setting), complained and they took it back to investigate only to then give me a new quote of £1300 to service and repair it. I sent them a working watch to get back a non working watch that they can't fix unless...guess what....I pay them £1300.
