Brownstone Research is a boutique investment research firm that consistently delivers insights and profitable investment recommendations to its subscribers. For too long, the best investment research has not been available to individual investors. It has been typically reserved for investment banks, hedge funds, private equity, and high-net-worth clients. The mission of Brownstone Research is to make that kind of proprietary research available to any investors looking to gain an edge in the markets. The goal is simple… to deliver unique and profitable investment research found nowhere else.

My father and I paid $3000 for Outlier Investor (Jason Bodner). Not only did we lose our $3000 but the guy continually seems to pick stocks that do horribly. One example is the stock EPAM which he recommended last month, just dropped 53%! Routinely, his picks have dropped 15-20% within the first two weeks of owning them. His updates often speak about how the market is tough and it's bad luck instead of bad picking. Stay away!

I unfortunately took out a Lifetime membership to Jeff Brown's Day One Investor product in December 2021, and have had nothing but problems as an international investor. My issues are primarily with the third party fundraising organisation Republic, (who I presumed Brownstone vetted and agreed terms with before launching their Day One service). Republic have been unable to accept a suitable payment method from me. They are so USA centric that wire transfers from international investors have not been possible for the first 3 investment recommendations from Day One. Being located in Australia I have tried to get Brownstone Research ( parent company of Day One) to help me, but there responses to date have been evasive and keen to distance themselves from the problem, saying it lies with Republic. I have asked for assistance and now I have asked for a full financial rebate ( not interested in credits towards other products in their stable) and am awaiting even a polite response. So my advice is for anyone considering investing in this Day One programme, and lives outside the USA , and does not have a US bank account is simple, DO NOT GO NEAR IT WITH A 10 FOOT POLE
NEW UPDATE:
After posting the above review I was contacted by a representative of Brownstone Research, which I appreciated, however the next few steps were far from satisfactory.
Firstly In the next Day One newsletter, Jeff Brown said in print “ almost all international investments have no problems at all with either international wire transfers or with credit card investments”. This comment is simply not true, and flies in the face of my own experience to date, and other too it has been revealed. My 3 attempts to invest by international bank wire transfer were all unaccepted. Dishonest comment or at best distorted facts by Jeff Brown.
Secondly I originally paid $6,000 for a lifetime membership to the Day One programme, and have been offered a refund of only $4,776.24 that means they have "stolen" $1,223.76 ( 20.3%) from me. In their email to me they said that the deduction was made, and I quote here " the refund amount was a pro-rata discount for the time I had the service, and while I was not able to take advantage of the recommendation, I did have access to their research and information". How can I be penalised for mistakes, shortcoming, unprofessional practices and possibly untruths by their own systems? So my advice to any overseas investor consider the Day One product with Brownstone Research is simple DON'T DO IT.
Footnote: I understand that Stansberry Research, (which is an excellent and ethical organisation) has an affiliation with Brownstone Research, which is disappointing to know.

Thank you , thank you for " Trust Pilot " ! I went through 2 of the Brownstone listings , one for the chips then another for the " black box " and was really impressed and ready to to order . The second " black box " has a PART 1 : disclosures about our business . It says " A very important warning : We make mistakes " . Then it goes on to say " It is very unlikely ( though it does happen from time to time ) that you will become wealthy from trading stocks , bonds , options , commodities , or other financial instruments ." This gave me more to think about ordering and when I came across " Trust Pilot " I see you saved me a lot of frustration and agrivation . Thank you again . - Marty

I check our business account daily and noticed a $129 charge from Brown Research. I have no idea how they accessed my husband's debit card. I called customer service at 888-512-0726 and the number came up as Peaceful Abiding Massage!!! When I chose the option to cancel and a representative came on the line,
she promptly hung up on me. Twice! I contacted our bank and it was too late to stop the pending charge and the card will have to be canceled. If you have read other reviews you will notice that they give 2 phone numbers and 2 different emails. Contact your bank or credit card company immediately and Steer Clear of these scammers!!!

Not sure how they received credit card. They charged my father in-laws credit card. He Never paid for a subscription, doesn’t even trade or invest in the stock market, but they charged his card for $1.00, to test the card and the same day charged for $300+, disputed it and was resolved but then they give your info to all sorts of other financial investor type promotions and then for a few months kept getting charged these random charges from $200 - $400. Luckily credit card company disputed it but was able to help settle but this company is definitely a scam and uses many names under one company and charges and steals from you. BEWARE. I’m also surprised that Amex hasn’t done anything about them, I read other reviews happening with other people who also have Amex. Luckily Amex disputed it and actually does investigate. After a few months gone by, got another random charge around the same fee! They need to be banned, was able to squeeze $6k out of my father in law…luckily Amex has good fraud research.

Mr. Brown claims among other things to have predicted the fall of the Soviet Union which began approximately 1985 with total collapse by 1991.
Being born in 1970 this would have made him 15 years old. The first published and reviewed prediction of this event occurred in 1970 and was written by Andre Amalrik.
This would mean Mr. Brown predicted the fall of the Soviet Union sometime before Mr. Brown's conception.
I suspect any claim he makes to the prediction of the collapse of the dotcom bubble, the 2008 housing market or the rise of Bitcoin are equally dubious.
I doubt he could accurately predict the next sunset.

One of the worst experiences I have with this kind of companies. At the beginning with"THE NEAR FUTURE REPORT" everything well, but I payd only 99 US$ for subscription.Last year, in January I was convinced by an overseas phone made (from US to Italy)by a certain Tara to do a life subscription to all their services for the modest sum of 4000 US$.I accepted event though the same subscription was proposed at 2500 US$ some days later.
Anyway at the end of december I checked all my invesments done during the year following Jeff Brown indications; well I had lost 12,5% of my capital instead of spy, nasdaq and dow with a media gain, in the same period, of 20%.So a lot of money.I asked explanation: no answer. I cut my subscription (annual maintenance fee of 199 US$)no answer.I distrusted the company not to charge my credit card: no answer.Few days ago they charged my credit card.
One only final comment: unbelievable but what happened

I purchased the early trade package for 2000 USD in November 2020.
I bought into 16 of the so called recommendations that Jeff the so called expert provided.
I cancelled the subscription after realising that the overall approach by this company led only to massive losses in my portfolio of biotechs recommendations by Brownstone Research.
My investment into the 16 trades was approximately 150000 USD
I have sold them except for 3 stocks but the net loss is about 90000 USD after holding for 14 months.
I don’t need to accuse, say anything but I hope that whoever reads this will use common sense and logic to make their own decisions.
Best Regards

Brownstone Research and its affiliates are completely unethical. They have continued to access my Amex despite me telling them not to. There is no way that I can find on their web site to cancel their subscription. Surely in the US you have a consumer Law to stop this Business. I do not understand why the credit card companies give them an account either. I have had Amex reverse the charge. I also have filed a complaint against this merchant and suggest that those who have had similar bad experiences do likewise. Amex will withdraw their ability to use their services if they get enough complaints

As a professional in the financial space myself, I cannot scream to avoid this company any louder. Zero value from their newsletters, and as other reviews have stated, they will give your data out to other marketing channels and soon your email will be unusable.
I have had a serious bout with covid, despite me clicking every unsubscribe link possible, calling them, emailing them - I am still being woken up constantly to them bombarding my email. I am counting down the days until the 30-day mark so I can take legal action against them.
Avoid this company at all costs, one of the worst businesses I have ever encountered, and I could not be more upset that I gave them my money. How these “experts” sleep at night is beyond me.

This is a horrible company; when they buy your data from another company you are deluged by their publications from all their editors. unsubscribe from one and another bunch pop up. I have called their office, written countless polite emails and they do nothing. If they lack ethics like this then I am immediately suspicious of their business.

Please never ever sign up for any subscription from Brownstone Research or Jeff Brown. it is a scam. It scams your money and will never refund as it promised with a guarantee of 60 days. Brownstone Research the Greatest Scam. It will tell you to contact them by call or email but they will never ever reply especially when you are asking for cancellation and refund. Instead, it will continue to flood your inbox with all kinds of rubbish promotions. It is the greatest scam. Never ever trust this company. Please share to as many people as possible worldwide through your FB, Twitter and other social media so that no more people are being trapped and being scammed again by this Scam company.
on 14/1/22, again it replied below requested me to contact them through email or call as usual but they will never bother about our email in actuality. Instead, it would send more promotional emails to harass us as usual.

BEWARE: pure scam, you WILL NEVER get your money back. their '90-Day 100% Credit REFUND' simply means they will NOT refund your money back, but give you a 'credit' to use for any of their other subscriptions.
Oh, and they will sell your email address so that your inbox will get flooded with solicitation emails from people you've never even heard about - same con artists like this 'Jeff Brown'..

On Jul 15 2020 I received an email invitation about personal money management seminar. In that evening I listened to the seminar and it was an introduction of a program called "Early Stage Trader". The presenter (Jeff Brown) claimed that in the past, he was able to pin point stock candidates that later on doubled their prices, not one time, nor two time but all the time. In the presentation, he did not present any methods he used to select these stocks, but said everything was in the documents he prepared to send to me if I could trust him and look at the program and I would have nothing to lose but gains to try it. He said he did not ask for any commitment only the willingness to try since it had a 90 day money back guarantee. So I called on the order phone number on the screen and placed an order for $2497.00. Then I saw a big sign on the screen saying 90 Day Money Back Credit. I was suspicious of that Sign: Did it mean 90 day Money Back Guarantee or 90 Day credit guarantee or both options?
The next day after I reviewed the documents received in my email, I found out there was no telling based on what methods he selected stocks. The stocks were all in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. He neither had any brokerage records backing up the claim that he bought certain stocks and later on the prices were more than doubled. I have a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and worked both in a pharmaceutic company and pharmaceutical regulatory agency (USP) before. So I was very familiar with the processes of drug development. Based on my knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical field, the lack of presentation of the methods how Jeff Brown selected these stocks and the lack of any proof he doubled his money on all the stocks he had selected, I deemed it was not likely that these occurred. I called the company the next morning and told them I needed to cancel my subscription I placed last night based on their 90 day money back guarantee. The representative said that they did not offer money back guarantee only credit to buy other products of theirs. Later on they offered me $6699 voucher but I refused. I have no trust in their products and only want $2497 refund.
My lawyer wrote a letter to them explaining the reason I bought the program with the understanding of 90 day money back guarantee as Jeff said I would have nothing to lose to take a look at it.
They wrote back to me said the refund would take about 3 months as credit card company was doing an investigation and the case was locked.
My credit card company informed me that after their investigation, they decided it was not a credit fraud since no one had order the product without my knowing and this dispute was about the terms of guarantee by the seller and this was not credit fraud. The credit company did not have the liability to cover this type of dispute even if it was a fraud, that I needed to hire a lawyer or someone else to do that.
Brownstone research informed me that the credit card company had settled the case in their favor so they would not issue the refund.
My lawyer said if I pursued the legal approach the legal fee would amount to that or more and would take more time.
Since then, they saturated my email with other marketing products, each one promised more potential earning opportunity. But with this experience, I will never buy anything from them.

Do not give them your email. Even for free. Even if they pay you.
Worst spam group I've encountered in 20 years i use the internet. I will start getting dozens of email daily from various related sites that you never heard of.
Not to mention that the content is completely useless.
EDIT: Ignore the reply below. It is false. They share the email database with their affiliate programs. Those are literally endless. I removed myself from Brownstone but getting spammed by additional 10 groups which are constantly changing. I unsubscribed already from 10 different once, but getting emails from new ones every day.
Online marketing is what i do for a living and still i've never encountered such blunt spamming.
