Brownstone Research is a boutique investment research firm that consistently delivers insights and profitable investment recommendations to its subscribers. For too long, the best investment research has not been available to individual investors. It has been typically reserved for investment banks, hedge funds, private equity, and high-net-worth clients. The mission of Brownstone Research is to make that kind of proprietary research available to any investors looking to gain an edge in the markets. The goal is simple… to deliver unique and profitable investment research found nowhere else.

I have been a subscriber for years. Absolutely the best tech research of all my publishers. Way ahead of all the analysts, pundits and talking TV meatpuppets.

After watching their video, and paying $2300, I decided this wasn't for me! I never even set up an account. I've emailed three requests to refund my money and have received NO reply!!!

This is a scam. You will talk to no one & my emails have not received a response. I’m reporting this company to the Texas State Board of Consumer Affairs. DO NOT PAY FOR THEIR SERVICES.

I enjoy listening to Jeff Brown he talks logically and seems sincere. i however found charges on my statement with amounts I never authorized nor have i received sufficient information to support the service i bought. I also paid $3535 for lifetime service yet i still paid $6000 for extra subscription. jeff also continues with new subscription packages which again i not privy to . i yet to have made a dime off his recommendations. I paid over $6000 tp Brownstone research a total scam

Who is this Jeff Brown of brownstone, and why are his video ads that pop up on my YouTube and news feeds so damn annoying and long as f?
If he had something legit to sell, he wouldn't need to make a 30 minute long video about it that says... Nothing!
Beware of Internet scammers

Jeff Brown and Day One Investor are a total scam. I paid $3500 USD for a lifetime membership and they said we’d be getting 10 recommendations per year, and updates on our previous Day One recommendations. I’ve received I think 3 recommendations in 1.5 years, and my many requests for a refund due their company not delivering even close to what they promised have gone unanswered. I’m going to file a complaint with the SEC if Jeff and his team haven’t responded to my most recent email request by the end of October 2025. I’m also going to hire a lawyer Gana Weinstein Law Firm.

I was looking at your (rather long) video advertisement that popped up in my in box. I'm certainly no tech expert but am always looking for investment opportunities so I would need advice and guidance. However you do seem to have a lot of negative reviews on Trustpilot which is concerning. One point was that clients from the UK could not get through to your customer services, , is this correct? I always like to speak to a "real human" before investing any money in anything.

Appears to be nontransparent about charges. My 93-year old mother discovered two unauthorized charges from these people totaling $512.98 after responding to a single offer of a much lower price. One was on the 7th and one on the 9th. Curiously two other similar companies which she never contacted also used her card number to add charges on the 9th and a couple of days later. We were able to dispute them all but had I not been visiting she might not have noticed this. Great caution should be used in checking credit card billing if dealing with Brownstone Research.

Brownstone’s response is complete fabrication of the truth. They have not sent out one recommendation to me and I’ve been trying to get a refund for over two months. I called the company to ask him why I have not been receiving recommendations and they clearly told me that I needed to go to their website to find their recommendations. I repeat stay away from this company, they are not honest. Now supposedly, that can not even find my account. Inept does not begin to describe their company and service.
Stay away from this company. This company does not send out an email or text alerting their subscribers to a new recommendation. I subscribe to several investment newsletters and every one of them sends out a notification when they have a recommendation. They used to be Bonner Investments and had many problems and they changed their name because of all of the complaints. Buyer Beware!!!

My husband, who is 81. mistakenly signed up for a subscription at a cost of $379. I called the company and they were extremely polite and understanding. The money was returned to his account within 24 hours.

Terrible service. Didn't pivot going into COVID and were HEAVY in biotech that cratered. Lifetime member and haven't seen actionable idea in over a year. space were terrible recommendations. Jeff is a crook.

After seeing a YouTube ad and then watching a lengthy interview that seemed very credible, I subscribed to the Brownstone Research newsletter with the promise of a 90-day no-risk trial, by paying about $150 (£114.34 after conversion)
When I reviewed what they send, mostly suggesting I pay more money to upgrade my subscription, I decided within a few days that the service was not for me and requested a refund.
I have sent messages via their website, emails to the contact email address in their membership site and also tried replying to their regular emails.
They have never acknowledged these requests or replied and certainly haven't refunded the subscription.
My guess is they are hoping to take the $500 annual renewal fee (about £385) each year from the credit card direct debit they now hold, because that was necessary during the sign-up process!
In my book that makes these people scammers.
Be warned - don't waste your time or money!

I once belomged to a dervice that included Jeff Brown(Supposedly lifetime membership - Iam still alive but the publisher isn't. I would subscribe again at a reasonable price but not $2500+). Jeff had some profitable recomendations but I regret going down rabbit hole with him on SPAC recommendations. - What was he and I thinking? This is a now a credibility y issue for me.

This company is a scam. My parents bought a subscription to his newsletter but never received anything and when they called for a refund, they said they couldn’t connect him to the department but do you want sign up for At&T. He couldn’t get his money back even though they promise a 60 day money back guarantee. He had to dispute it with his credit card company. Don’t invest in him. He’s getting rich off of scamming people out of their money.

I don't remember signing up to this service. I don't even know what it is. At midnight $129 was taken from my account. I can't find an email or service I've signed up to to cancel. What the hell is this service?

I lost quite a lot of money with this service. In truth I was throwing good money after bad from the word go. The service was sold to me on the strength of a company which the writer said had found a cure for blindness. This turned out to be hogwash and utilising this service is unlikely to produce any better results than the broader market. Anyway, with a great deal of hard work I have managed to make up my losses elsewhere so I hope my review helps others.

I tried to cancel, but BS would not play ball.
Had to get Visa to block a fake transaction.
Fortunately Visa Security allerted me to this issue ,so perhaps they are aware of this BS company.
response to BS reply ....definitely no identity mix up ..Visa will have records. Over and OUT ...see TrustPilot reviews... below 2 stars overall rating

I cancelled the subscription on 5/22 for $199.00 and they will not send me my refund. The agreement was I had the right to check it out for 30 days. I cancelled within a few days. STILL WAITING ON REFUND.

I actually like Jeff Brown's articles and thoughts. Clearly an intelligent person who has been in the business a long time. Unfortunately, as someone who once had a lifetime subscription to his research reports, I have just become aware that the company that previously owned the letters went bankrupt and voila up pops Brownstone and now I am supposed to pay all over again. That is shady.
