Brownstone Research is a boutique investment research firm that consistently delivers insights and profitable investment recommendations to its subscribers. For too long, the best investment research has not been available to individual investors. It has been typically reserved for investment banks, hedge funds, private equity, and high-net-worth clients. The mission of Brownstone Research is to make that kind of proprietary research available to any investors looking to gain an edge in the markets. The goal is simple… to deliver unique and profitable investment research found nowhere else.

Jeff Brown offered a service for SPACS (Blank Check Speculator). He said investments of newly formed companies would be profitable (protected "mandated money"). Paid for the service and Invested in 12 of his recommendations. All were losses. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES. No stop loss. No consideration for client portfolios. He made money. We sustained losses of 90% in other services as well. So so arrogant and after all the losses he recommended a hedge fund to protect the remaining 10%. Really Jeff? That's the best you can do?

Subscribed about 18 months ago and cancelled after the first year as the share tips were utter garbage. Jeff seems to have knack for tipping a share just before it falls off a cliff.
12 shares bought at prices below max limits to follow the JB portfolio. Only 3 show a profit at present however they are only in profit due to the fact the USD/GBP exchange rate swung so much in my favour so in fact not a single share is actually showing any profit.
Overall the return is -4.59% however the exchange rate fluctuation is masking the loss by another 16%.
In this same period I made a 17.5% gain on etoro using two copy portfolios.
I have not had any spamming problems that others have had nor did I have any problem contacting the company and cancelling.
The sales presentations should really have raised red flags though as they are long and drawn out with the old "just one more thing" scenario and "but i don't want to charge you that" speel.

Absolute scam, you are given general google information, but the bad bits is that you put on email lists that bombard you on a daily basis with other crap scams. I was getting 30 emails a day from rubbish that I never subscribed to. I am still getting further emails from rubbish scam companies. They sell your email to anyone. Do not get involved!!!!

Reply from Brownstone Research
After the cancellation of subscription, i got each day tonn of emails. It is not possible to cancel or opt-out from this list.
The whole communication with brownstone is terrible, they do not cancel my sub, after i already write it many times

They operate a relentless spam mill through hundreds of domains they've registered, most spam is generic investing click bait. Each domain is a Wordpress site that all have near identical layouts, just with small theme changes.
They use anonymity services to hide the details of who the domains belong too, but they've made mistakes and if you look at enough of them, it's easy to figure out the people responsible.
These are but a few of the hundreds of spam sites they operate:

On January 2022 I subscribed $299 for the Brownstone Research NEAR FUTURE REPORT lifetime package - as stated.
Recently they revoked my access then email me that I need to pay $24 for annual maintenance.
After replaying that I was not being inform on the annual fee when I subscribed, now they cancel my subscription.
Practically the supposed $299 for a lifetime has gone for just a year access, while the cost for a year subscription was much less than that amount.
I did not recall any of the annual fee during the initial registration. If there were any, it would probably hidden somewhere that would be impossible for me to notice.
I feel like being tricked.
They have not been transparent from the beginning.

Brownstone research sold me a "lifetime" membership then wanted to charge $24 per month to maintain it! Their customer service policies are very inadequate. The only thing they would offer is to CANCEL my "lifetime" subscription.

Total harassment. Even asked me to send a pic of myself. When I quit replying to the texts they started calling me. Total scam, not legit.

I am receiving between 20 - 30 emails per day from Brownstone Research Affiliates, all of which I have Unsubscribed to OVER 30 TIMES (Each) in the past year. (1000+ Unwanted emails in the past year alone from Brownstone Affiliates) THIS IS THE WORST NIGHTMARE EVER. I spend all day deleting emails that I don't want, and haven't asked for. UNSUBSCRIBING from Brownstones Affiliates DOES NOT WORK

Long story short, I gave them a chance in 2020 and found the information they supplied and the services they offered were not worth spending money on. They somehow were able to get me on a subscription which they then charged me for again in 2021. I contacted them within a day or two of the charge and canceled the order. I was told they would refund the fee to my card and it was canceled at that point. Fast forward to 2022, today and I get notification of a charge attempt to my card from their company. I then looked back and found they had never refunded me from 2021 and obviously their cancellation did not work. I called into their support line where I spoke with a young lady named Amy. She tried to get me to keep the subscription by lowering the fee for the year and then explained she could do nothing about 2021 refund etc. I am out the money for two years for this crap and wasted time on multiple calls at this point. I would hope everyone goes and reviews this company on Google and takes advice to stay away from them. Don't give them your money. You can find better information for free by using google and having a little common sense. Good luck to all of you in canceling your subscription. If I see enough keep complaining about them keeping your money I may start a class action, who knows? I will spend money just to prove a point.

I made two purchases and after two
Weeks I have not been able to contact anyone….email or calling. It says it doesn’t have my address. Something very sneaky going on
Update 2 (I only wanted 1) drones arrived today. Total joke. Flimsy ridiculous POS. I had also ordered a bug zapper (still haven’t received) I think this is the company you are all talking about???? Not sure. Regardless, be leery of coolest gadgets you see on line.

A total scam Mill. One pitch after another designed to scam you out of your hard earned money. Every recommendation I invested in was a flop. Just look at the constant lofty promises from this band of thieves vs. actual results. Don’t fall for it, these folks should be incarcerated (again)

ALEERTT! Do not subscribe!!!
If so, it will be a nightmare! It is impossible to unsubscribe! You unsubscribe, and they put you in other list off other shady financial guru. Unsubscribe again, and again, new shady financial guru mail!
They are scammers!! No honest person would do that, after a unsubscribe demand!
Always reporting to gmail as spam and phishing mail!

Company needs to stop the scamming immediately. Can't you sell your service without cheating?

Reply from Brownstone Research
Brownstone Research continually bombards you with "deals" that you can't afford to miss. I can't get it to stop informing me that this "new service" is one I can't afford to miss. They also took one of the research tools I subscribed to and combined it with another. Not what I signed up for. They keep adding new services but I don't think they add staff.

I find that I am not alone in my anger with Brownstone Research. I discovered in my bank statement a charge of $US 129 for some service that I did not sign up for. I have been trying to extricate myself from Brownstone for some years now, with little success. Their unsolicited mail (and from a host of other sites that seem to be affiliated) is like an infection that you cannot cure - my conclusion is that Brownstone is close to a scam.

51% one stars are all you need. Jeff is a either a fraud or the worst financial consultant of all time. The GOAT of stock losses. How he looks in the mirror every night and does not throw up is a scientific mystery. All 51% of us that lost virtually everything is proof. Yet he continues to bloviate his success. If you want a loss to offset taxes his service is great. Buyer beware of this loser.

Buyer Beware!! I canceled my subscription, they charged me again and when I deputed the charge with my credit card and called them they said they can't take it off auto, scammers, had to cancel my credit card.

Honestly every review in here is 100% accurate as to the money people spent and the actual value they got.
Yet the market is in the dust, but a savy investor like Jeff Brown can obviously tell this was coming, so what gives Jeff Brown ?
Jeff Brown for whatever lousy reason put his name on multiple advisory services, maybe to make an extra buck, who knows.
Sadly he has sold his reputation as a smart guy for a good fleecing of the people.
It's absolutely histericle the responses by the company you read here. It's like they live on another planet and are completely oblivious to what they're promoting and what's happening.

Reply from Brownstone Research
My experience is even worse. They have charged my credit card almost $6000 for memberships I did not authorize. Once they get credit card info they just keep on using it to sign you up with other companies. The amounts double because the amount charged initially is half of what it should be. To matters worse, I am living off of Social Security. The only ones making money are these "experts". I think all of us should get together and file a Class Action Suit against these people. Jeff Brown has already been to prison for a previous fraud conviction.
