Avoid them at all costs

Avoid them at all costs. Pressured sales techniques to sell you overpriced jewellery. Items bought for £2500 were valued at £300. Telling people jewels and stones are rare and very few left which simply isn’t true. Bordering on scam and criminal type sales techniques!

bad experience with lucky ending

I was taken to Bufavento Jewels by the reps from RSD Travel. The product prices do not reflect the true value!!!
My husband bought me a pair of gold earings there for £600.00.Later that day I spotted in the jewelry shop in Kyrenia very similar earings for almost half a negotiated price at Bufaveto.I made a complain and received from them a credit of £150.00 paid to my credit card on the next day. I was impressed with their quick action.
Only buy there if you know the value of the gold and the true value of the jewerly you want to purchase.

Not Trustworthy

They are very good con men at Bufavento. They will convince you that you are making an "investment". They will convince you that the gemstones are worth a fortune. You will be a fool to believe them. I have had several gemologists and jewelers examine my purchase. I was a fool. My jewelry is worth less than a third of what I paid. Do not buy anything at this place. You will have no recourse afterwards. They are in North Cyprus. You cannot take them to court. Furthermore, thieves who would be so dishonest should not be confronted afterwards. I fear what they might do. I can only try to forget my stupidity and warn others.

Warranty issues

I gave them 1 star as I was unable to give them 0, my wife purchased a sapphire and diamond ring for £300.00, when we got home some of the diamonds around the shoulders had fallen out, contacted Bufavento jewels to be told silver is not covered by their warranty. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Shameless people. My parents are stuck with a debt

My parents traveled with this company to Cyprus. It became the most expensive trip ever for them as they were totally fooled by talented salesmen from Bufavento Jewels. They are now left with a debt, and it seems that the travel company is doing business with Bufavento Jewels. Fearless company that lures older tourists to such events.

Beware and do not buy unless you know what the real value of jewellery

This company engages in high pressure selling and if you are naïve about jewel prices they will take you to the cleaners.
Unfortunately the tour companies such as RSD travel may arrange these tours between stopovers between hotels so it is difficult not to travel on the bus that day.
After the initial introductory talk you are taken into the sales room and immediately pounced upon by their salesmen and saleswomen and make it very hard to leave the room..
The jewellery is very nice and probably good quality and the initial price may seem absurdly high. They will halve it and make it sound reasonable but it is only after you return home and obtain a valuation that you realise that you have been well and truly duped!
Be warned and do not buy unless you know the real value of the jewellery item you may be interested in.

Overpriced goods and creepy salesperson

Overpriced and con artist. If I'd known about this company and its reviews before I was taken as part of a tour (to Nicosia through Cyprus Paradise) I would've saved myself some anguish and money. I lost money on some jewellry we bought but thankfully it wasn't as much as what others had paid. We bought silver. There was a marketing person called Mutlu, who at the time appeared to be genuine who said that my daughter (aged 15) could do some catalog work and that they had events in London, Birmingham etc. he gave us his Instagram which turned out to be his personal one and not a company one (xmtlux)- It doesn't exist. Their company website is also very basic and has no price list. He mentioned that his designs had won the Bolin Swedish Award for one of his designs- which again doesn't exist. Avoid at all costs!!

Scammers!!!

DO NOT SHOW ANY INTEREST FOR THE PRODUCTS. If you show the least interest, the diligent seller will be all over you all the time. If you are not very resistent you will be led into a room and more sellers will come to push you. You will probably be able to get a 25-50% discount in a big act where they will rip their hair and call the boss to approve the discount - and you will still pay around 10 times the real value.
In my case the jewel was worth absolutely nothing, didn't get a real gemstone just coloured glass. Stay away from these thieves!!
