Every aspect of the trip was well planned, well presented and well executed. Our every need was anticipated and satisfied. We were gifted an amazing experience to a beautiful land with spectacular vistas, fabulous cuisine and welcoming people.

A great trip experience, well organized, with attentive guides, and high quality lodgings and food. It's the research behind this trip that makes it run seamlessly. Consistent in quality with other B & R trips.

This is my 22nd trip with B & R. What has made me come back again and again to do biking/hiking trips is the quality of these trips. The itinerary of this trip involved touring of beautiful large and small chateaus, staying in wonderful, intimate boutique hotels and enjoying scrumptious local cuisine and wines. It rained every day of the 5-day trip, which made the job a lot more difficult for the guides. Our guides, Donald and Emilie, worked very hard, especially due to the rain situation. They were unflappable no matter what happened and ensured all travelers having a good time whether they preferred dry shoes or were willing to cycle all day in downpour!

I loved the scenery, the company and the incredible guides, Daniel and Amina. The bikes were extremely good and easy to use . The accommodation was all excellent and the meals were delicious. I had a very positive experience.

We have been on many trips with Butterfield and Robinson. The trips are always seamless and full of experiences that you could never plan on your own. The hotels, food and the activities are the absolute best. Great value for the money. Will definitely book another trip next year!

The guides were exceptional. Particularly in aiding a positive dynamic within the group of fellow travellers.
Dealing with Mark in Toronto was also exceptional. He was always there for us and answered every question in a prompt and professional manner.
I realize that this is not helpful for you to improve. But I really can’t help you in this regard.

We didn’t know what to expect when booking through B&R. It exceeded our expectations. The accommodations and staff were first class. The tour guides as well as the staff were very professional and friendly. The three tour guides we had were very knowledgeable and kept our attention through our tours. They were all very accommodating. The meals were ALL delicious, very good sections of healthy choices. We always looked forward to our 3:30 tea everyday. It will certainly be a memorable adventurous holiday. From the moment we landed in Maun we were well taken care of until our departure on last day of the safari. I would highly recommend using B&R. Christine Tucker was able to give three very different Bush Camp experiences from dry land to wet land which we asked when consulting with her almost 2 years ago. It was truly an experience of a lifetime.

Guides, people we met, hotels and food

One of the best trips that we have been on. The pre trip planning sessions resulted in a level of attention to detail that would be difficult to surpass. Everything went smoothly and there were a lot of moving parts. The accommodations were beautiful. The guides were knowledgeable and the staff was delightful in all of the lodges that we stayed in. What a beautiful country with such diverse scenery.

Great biking. E-Bikes worked perfectly and enabled me to travel everywhere, including up long and relatively steep hills. Great non-biking cultural activities, including lectures, museums, artistic workshops, and wineries. Beautiful, luxury hotels and spas. Great food at each stop. (Perhaps a little too much food at lunches, including rich desserts.) Excellent restaurant recommendations for the few meals for which we were responsible. Guides extremely professional, helpful, patient and nice. Final night gift exchange during cocktails was creative and fun. Everything worked according to plan. Allowed me to experience and learn about a part of Europe with which I was generally unfamiliar. Great value for money.

Great first bike trip with B&R. The guides and support were fabulous. They anticipated all of our needs and questions. The routes and equipment were great. The meals, stops and hotels were spectacular. The only thing that I would have wanted was to have a personal briefing with a staff member, probably a month before the trip. With our first ride, we had so many questions left unanswered, and I would have expected that a luxury provider would have done that for first time clients. The representative was responsive to outreach, but it would have been much better for the company to offer a 30-60 minute talk with an actual guide.

Butterfield & Robinson arranged a private trip for my wife and I to Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Prague. This journey was over three weeks in duration and all aspects including hotels, multiple varied activities, guides, transportation, and unique opportunities were perfectly organized and fulfilled. There was excellent interaction during the planning phase such that all our expectations and requirements were met. This was our twelfth trip with Butterfield & Robinson, encompassing both group and private, and they have always provided a memorable experience.

The hotels were great. Rides were awesome. Guides were excellent. Food was good. It was a really fun week of cycling and getting to know a bit about the culture.

Norway was amazing in every way. The landscapes were breathtaking, the guides were super helpful and knowledgeable, the bikes were perfect for the photography and the food was out of this world. It was a typical amazing Butterfield and Robinson trip.

This was our 10th trip with b and r. Like every other thrip they exceeded our expectations both with big and little things, everything is thought thru. But while we have had great guides before, the guides on this trip were the best ever. Great hotels, routes, meals, everything.
