We are extremely disappointed with Calia Italia, especially given their positioning as a premium furniture supplier.

Our sofa (purchased for over £7,000 through DesignerSofa) was delivered incomplete, with essential components—the feet—missing and only arriving more than a month later. This left us with an unusable, unfinished product over the entire Christmas period, which is completely unacceptable for a brand of this supposed calibre.

Equally concerning is the lack of accountability. No effort was made to acknowledge the inconvenience caused or to offer any form of compensation, despite the significant delay and disruption.

I purchased a modular sofa from Calia Italia three years ago, paying premium prices for what they market as a luxury product. The 2-seater section has sagged so severely that both the seat and backrest are now unusable without additional pillows for lower back support. When we recently added a new module, the contrast in quality was shocking.

After seeing similar complaints on Trustpilot where Calia Italia actively responds and promises solutions, I reached out to their customer service email with hope. Initially, they responded promptly - first verifying my ownership, then requesting photos to assess the damage. Once I provided everything proving I was a legitimate customer who had cared for the sofa properly, they simply ghosted me. No follow-up, no solution, nothing.

For a brand that positions itself as luxury and charges accordingly, this level of product durability is unacceptable. Even worse is the customer service approach: publicly appearing helpful on reviews while privately abandoning customers once they've confirmed the quality issues are real.

If you're considering Calia Italia, read through the reviews carefully. The sagging issue is widespread, and their "we're here to help" responses appear to be for show only. Save your money and choose a brand that stands behind their products.

The best customer service I have seen in my life. We have full set of couches from Calia Italia that they shipped it to us from Italy all the way to Canada . 🥰

Indeed it’s all these and I had a small problem and the Canada store wasn’t helping us but Calia Italia contacted me right away gave me their support their help .
I’m so impressed and super happy that I picked this brand as our living room couches.
