I came to Amsterdam to photograph a wedding, so I booked some items a week beforehand. In correspondence with Cameranu, I requested a camera, a flash unit, and a lens. The process went fairly smoothly, and I was pleased that I could arrange the rental from abroad. The prices and rental conditions were confirmed.

Can you imagine my surprise when I arrived at the rental and discovered that my order was not prepared? The flash unit I had requested was unavailable, so I was provided with a different one, albeit without batteries, despite my request to have them prepared in advance as I needed to proceed directly to the shoot from the rental. I was instructed to purchase batteries from a nearby supermarket.

Additionally, I have written proof that the required deposit is 300 euros. However, upon arrival, I was informed that I needed to leave a deposit of 1000 euros.

In an email, a staff member informed me that I could return the items between 13:00 and 17:00. However, upon double-checking, I discovered that everything needed to be returned no later than 13:00.

I am extremely disappointed by this lack of professionalism.

Furthermore, I never received an apology from the staff, which only adds to my dissatisfaction. Perhaps they were not as attentive to their service as they should have been.

I have been here a few times now. Always fast and friendly service. Last time there was a mix-up and I accidentally got the wrong product. I went back and they fixed it straight away. So very content!

I had a great experience. The people at Camera Nu gave me great advise. They let me 'play' with the monoculars I wanted to see and test. When I had questions they gave me the answers I needed to purchase the product. So happy!

About a year ago I developed an interest in photography, but as I was living abroad I got my dad involved in finding me the right starter camera pack. I had done some online research and saw that Cameranu still had one of the models in stock that I was interested in (many other websites were out of stock for a while). My dad went to the store in Rotterdam and described his experience as one of a kind. The store attendant Koen really took the time to explain the different options and was very honest about the price - value proposition for each product. My dad ended up buying me my first camera and in December 2023, I went to the store myself to get an extra lens, some accessories and a tripod. I happened to be assisted by Koen again, and also this time he was attentive and provided a range of recommendations. I brought my camera for a lens cleaning, which was done well and quick.
In addition, as I was living abroad I needed the original invoices to be adjusted with some different information which the online team took care of within a day in order for me to receive my tax returns.
Overall, I can say nothing but positive things about the services received here, and till date I am still very happy with my purchases. I am sure I will be back again for more accessories and additional lenses.

Really professional, the moment there is a free person you get attention. You get unbiased opinions and good explanations when asking for aditional information.

It’s really nice shop. I got my Sony ZV-1 with them and I’m really happy. Also you can print there photos - also from your mobile phone. You can pay with cash also so it’s very nice. Why 4 stars? It’s a bit pricey and I don’t like that products are taken out from box even when it’s last product they had. But highly recommend!
