Purchased a pair of custom Peu shoes during a promotion They arrived in a timely manner, but no quality control was done. They were clearly damaged on the manufacturing process, but sent to me anyhow. I sent an e-mail.with a photo of the faulty workmanship, and they agreed they were faulty and asked me to cut the tongues out and they will provide a voucher for the amount I paid. No offer to replace with a properly built shoe. Now if I want the shoes I have to shell out an additional $50? Such nonsense. They made a mistake, now I have to pay extra for it. I don't trust them to send me another pair at this point. They responded here and asked for my e-mail address, which I provided through trust pilot. I never heard from camper regarding this review.

After almost 3 weeks of not having my shoes delivered and reaching out to the customer service repeatedly, I've gotten an email saying "your return has been accepted". What? What return? Then they send an email lying and blaming me that the delivery address I've given them was incomplete. Absolute bollocks - I shop online all the time, it never happened. There was no attempted delivery, nothing. Just radio-silence, a few AI emails "thanking me for my patience" (which run out after about 2 weeks of nonsense) and then refund.
Notice how their AI bot is answering to all these reviews. So totally useless. I want someone to get fired. They've destroyed this reputable brand with horrible customer service and utterly unreliable deliveries. I've not received my refund yet, but it better arrive. Otherwise I'll sue. Horrendous. 15 years as a customer, NEVER AGAIN.

I purchased a pair of shoes in the Black Friday sale. The discount was clearly applied and showed the discount amount($240). But my account was charged full price ($300). Customer service acknowledged the issue was at their end and did not offer to fix the mistake. When I question this I was offered a promo code for my next purchase. When I asked for a refund d of the difference I didn’t get a response by they have cancelled my order completely.
UPDATE 29/11/2025: Camper have responded on Trustpilot asking for my email, I also got a private request for more details from Camper via trustpilot which I have provided. It’s been two days but I have still heard nothing from Camper.

I have just bought a pair of beautiful shoes online, (Casa Myra) from Camper. I always buy a size 5 i.e. size 38, but these are tiny. Be warned!
I'd like to send them back and exchange for the size up, but I'm reluctant to do it because of all the problems other customers have had. I would like to talk to a PERSON for some advice!! This has proved impossible. There appears to be no number to call. Very very disappointing.

It’s been 2 months since my return was received by Camper and they have not refunded me. I have contacted them and you really only get copy and paste responses, no apology and nothing has changed. I am still waiting for my refund. I have supplied them with so much information and yet nothing has changed.
Update: I did finally receive a refund - not from Camper but a totally different name, it was over 2 months later. No one apologised at any point. This was the most stressful purchase of my life. I cannot advise you strongly enough to avoid shopping with Camper online.

** How to lose customers forever is easy for Camper **
Run an anniversary promotion where all orders will include a promo cap. At checkout it’s made absolutely clear that the free cap won’t show on the receipt but will definitely be included in the order. Don’t worry apparently. It’s all
Cool 😎
Receive said order and surprise, surprise - there’s no cap.
Contact customer services and point out they have forgotten the cap.
Response is : the cap is subject to availability.
Check the cap availability online - it’s in stock and available!
Remind customer services that the cap is still available and in stock and suggest they may have simply forgotten rather than run out? (I’m giving them an easy out here)
No .. customer services repeat the previous availability excuse.
I point out that the principle here is important and it’s a very poor customer experience. Also, the free gift forms part of the sales contract. It’s not negotiable as Camper seems to believe. Nothing - no response. I ask for the contact details and name of a manager - again, nothing, no response. I then tell them I want to return everything and remove myself from any marketing. They respond with a returns link and removal confirmation.
At this point I fear all responses are automated and AI driven as no pleasantries apologies or names. Seems extremely abrupt and robotic.
I contact the UK Camper Facebook team via messenger in an attempt to highlight the @iss poor experience Camper customers are getting. They respond and state I will be contacted shortly.
It’s been a month - guess what??
— Nothing —
So there you have it. Camper couldn’t care less.
Avoid them like the plague. You don’t need the stress.

I've ordered 4 pairs of shoes from Camper over the years since the pandemic.
I was shipped the entirely wrong pair of shoes on 2/4 of my orders. Their shipping warehouse or communication between the website and the warehouse inventory figure it out. It's so disappointing waiting for an order for several weeks only to see it's the wrong pair, have to ship it back, and see the actual pair you wanted is now appearing as sold out.
I really really like the shoes otherwise so it's just very disappointing.

I’ve been a Camper customer for years, but this has been a very disappointing experience. I purchased a pair of boots at the Regent Street store on 4th October, and because they didn’t have the colour in stock, the order was placed for home delivery. I paid in-store, but I never received any email confirmation, tracking information, or updates from Camper.
After waiting 15 days with no communication, I contacted Camper on 19th October to request a refund and cancel the purchase. It wasn’t until 23rd October that I was finally told the courier had lost my order.
On 24th October, they asked for my bank details to process the refund, which I provided immediately. Despite this, as of today (18th November), I still have not received the refund, nor have I been given any clear explanation for the delay.
It has now been over six weeks since the purchase, and I am still waiting for my money back. This level of communication and service is unacceptable, especially from a brand like Camper.

Terrible customer service. Ordered shoes 3 weeks ago still haven’t arrived. Camper use Yodel. Yodel tried to deliver once but I was not in. Yodel sent a message asking what date I would like the delivery rearranged for and I confirmed a date but shoes were not delivered, and I have heard nothing further from them. There was no way to contact Yodel and their tracking device said only that they had my parcel but offered no further options. Contacted Camper customer service and after many emails they eventually told me I had to travel over 20 miles to collect from Yodel depot. Camper seem to take no responsibility for resolving the problem. I have asked for a refund but have heard nothing. I am a longstanding customer of Camper but will never purchase from them again after this experience.

I ordered a pair of Karst model K100845-001 shoes (order number 4007162108) less than two months of it I can no longer wear them because the inner fabric is completely destroyed.
I reported this issue to Customer Service under case number 1438308:4007162108 (Claim K100845-001-44). Their response was as follows:
“The issue with this product is in no way due to a manufacturing defect, nor is it related to the materials used. On this basis, we cannot be held responsible for the failure, even if the product is still within the warranty period, since this only applies to defects arising from a problem in the manufacturing process or a quality failure in the materials used.”
Although they did not acknowledge this as a genuine issue, they offered me a 20% discount on my next purchase (Discount Code: 5742569533).
Unfortunately, I have now had to report the matter to Citizens Advice under Section 9 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I find it unacceptable that a pair of shoes costing nearly £200 have become unwearable in under two months.

Received a gift card. Used it to buy (with some top up) two pairs of camper shoes. One pair I returned the same day. After two weeks, no sign of refund. The other pair I have been trying to do a size exchange, but the system returns an error and I can't proceed. Have contacted customer service multiple times and they said they would fix the issue. It's been two weeks. Nothing has changed. I have always been a big fan of Camper, but this time I noticed a massive deterioration in customer service.

Dear Store Manager,
I’m writing to report a serious incident that occurred at your Covent Garden store on Saturday, 25th October 2025. While seated on one of the benches inside the shop — specifically the one beneath a low-hanging stone lamp — I suffered a painful blow to the head. The lamp is positioned dangerously low, and I was unaware of the hazard until I struck it.
Several fellow shoppers expressed concern and checked on me, but the staff member present ignored the situation entirely. When I raised the issue with him, his response was dismissive: “You should not have been sitting on that bench.” This was deeply upsetting, especially given that the bench was empty and appeared to be intended for customer use.
The impact left me with a severe headache that ruined the rest of my day, including an outing to a comedy club that I had to leave early. While I’ve been fortunate not to suffer lasting damage, I’m extremely concerned that someone more vulnerable — an elderly person or a child — could be seriously injured.
I urge you to take immediate action to assess and rectify this hazard. If the bench is unsafe due to the lamp’s placement, it should be removed or relocated to prevent further harm. I also hope you will address the staff’s response, which lacked empathy and professionalism.

Dear Camper (AI?!), you responded to my review, asking for my email address. If you provide an email for you, I will glady write to you. Many thanks.

Not even 1 star really!
Long time buyer, not anymore. Two weeks to deliver, most of which seemed to be the delivery driver stating out for delivery and then no show. After contacting Camper 'customer services' (surely this is a Trading Standards issue itself), the package arrived, damaged (crushed in the delivery van for over a week). I asked for a return and refund. They wanted to first of all charge me for the return, finally arranged a collection and it was successfully returned. Email received to say refund processed (on order no 5002001238). That was 2 weeks ago and still no refund has arrived. Bank looking into it and requesting the ARN from Camper - they have so far failed to supply that as well. My advice - stay well away from Camper shoes. Over 20 years of wearing their products - not any more.

very bad materials which is shown in old camper shoes

Literally horrible quality shoes and customer service. I attempted to exchange a pair of shoes that I wore twice and the leather was fraying and peeling off. The WORST quality shoes I have ever purchased and not to mention they are so uncomfortable and poorly made for the price. Camper refused to help me with the issue and instead offered me a 20 percent discount code for my next purchase? They also blocked my email from leaving an honest review about the shoe and totally ghosted me when I followed up asking if this was the quality to be expected of their products. I'd recommend avoiding this brand at all costs - not worth the price or headache.

I purchased shoes in-store, but they went missing during delivery (Order #4007402516). It has been four days since I submitted a case and I have received no updates or resolutions. This lack of communication is very disappointing, especially for a company I expected better service from.

I have been buying shoes from camper for over twenty years online and in store. I have always been a very satisfied customer. I will not be doing it again ever or recommending them as I have done many times. The shoes I ordered never came, not a delivery problem as tracking indicated they were never dispatched. But it was the totally useless customer service that followed. A reply from a bot and then from a real? person saying they’d been lost by yodel and I would be refunded (at least this happened). I asked if they could then be dispatched again at the sale price I originally paid and was told this wasn’t possible. Why? No explanation. When I’ve written this review I will get the same reply that everyone gets to provide order number and email address which if answered it will be by the same customer service that is not fit for purpose. I won’t be bothering. Such a shame. One more big complacent company that is only interested in selling their products and offers no attempt at individual service when there is a problem.

Fault with the shoe material, reply back from what is a terrible customer service platform to say “our product is satisfactory”.
I have rang and emailed to follow up and just ignored.
Given the premium price of the product it’s unsatisfactory to get such a poor and indignant customer service.
